Dune: Imperium Digital

I bought the table top game and never really had much of an opportunity to play it with others so this app is a boon. It really is one of those forever games that never gets old, much like Wingspan. I play on my Galaxy Tab at home and can play on the go on my phone. Highly recommended. Not many apps of this quality available and will provide hundreds of hours of entertainment if you get into playing multiplayer.

I mostly play just for the challenges. They get easier with each DLC though, especially Uprising where only one challenge required a second playthrough. You can pretty much just play Muadib the whole time, I felt like in the original each leader was specific to challenges. I didn't feel like the last two DLC were worth it.

I really love this game, however for some reason the game is now incompatible with my Z Fold 7 and I cannot play it or update it. I paid money for this game and it's really disappointing to be locked out suddenly for basically zero reason. I would gladly give them more money for Uprising if I could play!

Good implementation. But when I had to close the app to do something else it didn't save my game. I can't play this if I have to be afraid to use the phone for something else while playing.

Great game, good mobile interface. However, it is apparently no longer compatible with my device (galaxy z fold 7) with the introduction of Uprising, which is unfortunate as I was really looking forward to this release.

Great game. the app really helps streamline the play experience which makes it super easy to fly through rounds of this game (could potentially take hours to play irl.) the bots are extremely competent and can be quite challenging at times albeit potentially predictable after youve played against them enough (this is true of humans as well) only gripe is after buying this game and all the dlc on the mobile app as well as irl, I still needed to buy it separately on steam for my pc.

Amazing game the port is great, asynchronous mode and cross play work perfectly. the last update messed up the ui. i dont see if players are online any more (in medium scale) and the ability description for leaders has disappeared.

The definitive Dune experience. It's less toxic than Tabletop Simulator. Small niggles have been patched since release. Ranking system is pretty good, especially with the monthly reset (2 rank drop system); you will need 2 months of dedicated winning to get yourself in the top 100 ELO in the game (1 month to get to Master, the 2nd month to quickly get back to Master from Gold in order to spend the rest of the month trying to get a personal best. Games against AI are painful, play it online only.

it's exactly the same as the desk top version. in other words, they did NOTHING to optimize it for my android phone. some buttons are covered up at Verizon points on the game and you can change the ui size back to small because the menus are not optimized for android.... app unusable

Played and liked the app on my Galaxy S23 (SM-S911B/DS, Android 14) in the past. Good implemetation of the board game. Now i tried to to reinstal it and it says "Your device isn't compatible with this version" This wasn't a cheap app to buy and now I can't play it!? Haven't played 1 second of this game yet! First they installed a fake copy, when I tried to play it was told it had to be installed from Google Play. IT WAS, THEY CERTAINLY HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING MY MONEY! Now it will install most of the way then stop, dump all the data and go back to pending! Done that half a dozen times so far! Pure trash!

The AI is insurmountable, I swear. It feels less like 4 players against each other, and more like a 1v1 where the AI gets 3 different roles to play. The amount of times I have noticed the AI making detrimental moves that harm both me and themselves, just for a different opponent to win is insane. None of these moves are justified and don't resemble a game with human players. Online, there are players claiming to win %90 of the time, but I find that incredibly hard to believe.

As much as I like this, it has a fatal flaw playing in async mode. I have tried to play probably 20 games with my daughter and only complete about 3. It replaces you with a bot if you don't make a move within a set period of time. If playing with somebody you know, you should be able to control this similar to how BGA deals with it. I have reached out to the developers and they just restate the function and offer no help. I purchased 2 android and a steam copy and they are useless...frustrating!

I appreciate the fact that since I bought the dlc expansions on steam, I just needed to log-in to my direwolf account and I could access the dlcs on my mobile game version. No need to purchase the DLCs twice, that's a great touch. The game is good on mobile too. Though the text is definitely small, I have played over a hundred hours on the steam version which means I rarely have to read descriptions(except the intrigue cards). Great way to get your Dune Imperium fix on the go.
