Great game. Desperately needs the Alien Artifacts -expansion though. Just the cards! It doesn't even need the Orb Module.

Have just bought all the upgrades and i would like to make a complaint. The complaint is not about the games price or performance, no, they are fine. It is just the fact that i still don't win WAAAAAAAH. Just kidding....Awesome Game. As good as the card version which i own, but a lot easier to shuffle a 227 (or so) card deck. Well worth the cash. Still playing, Still Loving. 2026update. Still loving this game.

love this game, but the rules are just wrong. Like improved logistics won't let you chain military worlds as your military strength won't update mid-play, which is goofy as spamming military is the whole point of that card. Just lost a game from that -.-

The board only covers 2 inches in the middle of the screen of my Pixel phone. There are inchwide bands of blank screens along both sides. Absolutely ridiculous. Still just as awful since the last update. There's no fix.

Great implementation and fun to play. Needs an update to fix the screen ratio or automatically adjust to the size of your phone screen. Running a pixel 9a and it's very small with black bars on the side. Would be a five star with that for me, it's that good; and like Slay the Spire, it is something I always want on my phone and available to boot up and take a run at it. Hard AI is a great challenge.

Mostly, it is very good, only 2 issues. 1) Occasionally, the game crashes right after dealing the first 6 cards. NBD, you can just restart the app. It has never crashed after gameplay has begun. 2) Game logic is mostly correct. I only found one bug -- I had alien rosetta stone world (+2 alien military) in my tableau, but I was not allowed to play alien robot sentry (alien military world with a value of 2).

Unsure how but push notifications have resumed on the app, so I'm updating the review. Great app! Original: Excellent app for the game with a couple bugs, but this has been in constant use for friendly multiplayer games for ages. Sometime in the last couple months push notifications for multiplayer have completely stopped, seemingly out of nowhere. I have scoured the app notification settings and reinstalled the app to no avail. Unfortunate because the game and app are otherwise both so good!

i love this game, but the constant crashes that break my games really limit the fun to an extend that I am actually considering to uninstall it. every second/third game i play ends up with an app crash, so much that my OS is actually asking me to put the game to quarantine

Love this game except a few things. Graphics is too gloomy and outdated. the UI isn't responsive, it doesn't fit nicely and has black margins on the left and right, why not take full advantage of the screen? Unnecessary slow animations. When long tapping cards to see their details, the zoom animation is too slow. For new players they need to read a lot and this quickly becomes irritating. Scoring system is confusing. When calculating it for some reason drops the scores and updates after.

The graphics in this app are way too small. Like, tiny even if you have great eyesight. It's clearly a desktop game that's not been modified at all to work with a phone. Don't buy if you want to play it on a phone. Less than 2 games in and my eyes hurt already. Terrible and lazy development.

Periodically has a crashing bug, where if you're in the middle of a game and the AI has a lot of options to think through, it'll say the AI is thinking and then it'll just crash. When that happens, the only thing to do is to start up a new game and lose all your progress on that game and also it counts as a loss on your records because you started a game but didn't finish it. It's had this bug for many years and they're never going to fix it.

I love this game, I play it everyday, I'm a real addict. I have an issue though: recently, for seemingly no reason, notifications have stopped working. I get no notification whatsoever from the game. At all. I have a Galaxy S21 Ultra, with Android 14. Could you look into this please? Thank you.

App itself is great and does play R4TG perfectly online. However, Push notifications don't work any more suddenly. It seems to not work on Google nor Apple. And it seems like my battery is drained constantly when the app is backgrounded on Android.

I bought this because I wanted to learn how to play the physical card game. It was excellent for that. Heard about crashing issues but I had no problems. The game is stable, fast and fun on my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Only negative: no pass-and-play.

I love race for the galaxy, I was super disappointed to find it unplayable. I couldn't select my goods to trade no matter what I did and it wouldn't let me skip doing it because I had goods. Fix it and I'll try again.

The app is fine, with occasional crashes. It's an excellent and visually attractive realization of the game. The problem is the game itself which is much too short, especially given the large number of cards and the complexity of their relationships. Generally the game is over before it even begins, a jarring and uncomfortable feeling.

Can we get an update?I love this App and game and play it wayyyy to much. However it's become so glitchy and now crashes all the time for me and my friends. I'm only writing a review to bring up this issue with the hope that they'll fix it. Don't change anything else, please just make it playable. TIP: when playing AI the app runs better when you go to Play Online and then check "Go Offline"

Implementation of the card game is excellent. Game flow works well, great that you can always have a counter on opponents VPs. AI is challenging in hard mode. Have played vs AI almost flawlessly for years, but recently something seems to have broken. I'm now getting repeated crashes, which took a full reinstall to resolve, forcing the loss of thousands of games in my log. Plus just found a bug: AI is given a VP bonus at the start of round even though it has less prestige than me.

Would really like to delve into this game... seemed interesting on my phone but it was too small to play comfortably without eye strain. I was really looking forward to playing on my Samsung tablet but it turns out it is unplayable on newer screens due to restrictions on supported resolutions. Since my tablet hasn't any options for resolution adjustments, this game is a no go for me. Two stars for a bit of fun on my phone before the eye strain took hold.

Thoroughly respectable adaptation with simple online vs. lobby and competitive AI opponent playable offline. Forgivably missing are ranked matchmaking, the draft variant, and advanced customization (such as removing...certain starting worlds from the pool...) Everything related to gameplay is fine but... After playing for a couple of days i had an issue that the app crushed every time i launched one particular game. After trying to close and open the app and restarting my phone, i unistalled and reinstalled my app and... there was no option to log in back to my account. Everyone that i had ongoing games with is waiting for my turn. It makes no sense.

Love RFTG, as have logged 500+ games on both Steam & Andriod. My sole complaint? Steam plays fairly, but on multi player Android with a high AI setting, the AI is dealt case cards time & time again. Way out of proportion to what would happen if the odds were fair & level! I suspect one of your programers thought that would be a funny prank to play? J. Sound sorted back to 5 star 👍 Jan 2023. Sound crackling since I've installed app on Huawei pro 30. This is a 5 star game when working correctly. I've paid for the expansions as well. Please update, to make this playable again on the latest android OS

It used to highlight cards that you could interact with, with that feature gone the UI is pretty unfriendly. Doing a bug draw and discard becomes so much of a hurdle, we'll be waiting for an update that fixes this. For now a 2/5.

It's a good adaptation of the board game, but it's crashing more and more over time. It used to be you'd have a problem every 20 games, now it's almost every other game that it crashes. It's a shame, because I like the game.

Edit: update fixed screen issues! I used to love the implementation of this game but the lack of updating for new phones makes it so that I can't start new online games of my own and I can't see everything on the cards when zooming in (I'm both cases, this is now cut off). The medium AI is also too easy while the hard one is too hard because it seems programmed to just give you worse cards. If this were updated to fix just even the screen cut off issue, I'd give it 5 stars.
