New Content • Added hero upgrades for Necromancer and The Fisherman. They become available in the Upgrades menu once Shop and the corresponding hero are unlocked. • Necromancer: Venom Bolt, Mass Reanimation, Empowered Skeletons, Unholy Presence, Plagueburst, and Skeleton Mastery. • The Fisherman: Plunder, Rustbite, Sweeping Hook, Trophy Hunter, Fresh Catch, and Hook Barrage. • Added Ascension Upgrades. • Clearing each Ascension difficulty for the first time grants 1 Ascension Point. • Spend points on permanent, trap-specific upgrades that persist through future Ascensions. • Freely reset and reassign upgrades whenever you Ascend or abandon a world. • Upgraded traps have a golden border, and their effects appear in trap tooltips. • Added Swamp and Floating Island terrain tiles. Balance Changes • Ascension is now more challenging: each level increases enemy level by 1. • Terrain effects have been reworked. Effects scale with the total number of tiles of each terrain type and apply to every dungeon, regardless of location. A tile with a dungeon on it counts as 2 tiles. • Base terrain effects: • Plains: +1 Peasant per wave for every 2 tiles, up to +20. • Wasteland: −1 enemy armor for every 4 tiles, up to −3. • Mountain: +2% trap force per tile, up to +30%. • Forest: −1% trap cost per tile, up to −15%. • Desert: −1% enemy health per tile, up to −20%. • Volcanic Ash: +1% trap damage per tile, up to +20%. • Sea: +1 enemy bounty for every 4 tiles, up to +5. • Snow: −1% enemy movement speed per tile, up to −15%. • Special terrain now forms dynamically based on neighboring tiles: • Meadow: A Plains tile adjacent to 6 Plains tiles. +2% friendly unit health per Meadow tile. • Mountain Peak: A Mountain tile adjacent to at least 4 tiles of Mountain or Snow, in any combination. Increases XP gain. • Oasis: A Desert tile adjacent to at least 3 Sea tiles. +50 wave-rush gold. • Swamp: A Forest tile adjacent to at least 2 Sea tiles. • Floating Island: Any tile with no neighbors. +2% duration for trap-applied debuffs per tile, up to +30%. • Terrain cards are cheaper at first. The first campaign terrain-card purchase has a base cost of 100 Soul Fragments, increasing by 20 with each purchase. • Farm redesigned. Each Farm increases the gold bounty for killing Peasants by 1, and the effect stacks. Quality of Life • Added a terrain-effects tutorial and clearer world-map summaries, sorted by tile count. • Improved Sigils tooltips, socket highlighting, and the display of long translated text. • Optimized memory use for visual effects and animations. Bug Fixes • Fixed XP overflow, wave timing, wave generation, and stalled spawning in late Endless Mode. • Fixed trap targeting, chaining, damage and kill tracking, and displayed stats. • Fixed enemy and boss pathfinding, movement speed, and pursuit issues. • Fixed map generation, path-guidance lights, lighting, wave-bar effects, and terrain outlines. • Fixed rare errors involving effects, summoning, spawning, balloons, UI, and terrain objects. Harpoon and spring trap still are being built with their base level of force despite upgrading them. Makes them useless
- set dsty · v1.0.24
None of the traps are very effective. Cards that give map bonuses are very weak and disappear if you back out of a map, making them useless in most cases. Many maps can't be completed without certain traps that aren't unlocked until much later. Progression is extremely slow. There aren't many maps. Randomly generated maps are boring. I don't care for the world building system. It's tedious and has no significant effect on gameplay.
- Adam Adolph · v1.0.24
poorly designed game. the grid interface for toggling the world map is buggy. the rouge maps are a rng disaster. you will expect a better experience from a paid game like this. i have completed the game with much distaste.
- Bernard Yong · v1.0.24
Incredible game and the art is amazing as always…..but really the balloons kill it for me.
- Lfd321 · v1.0.24
Not as fun as the first ones
- J B · v1.0.24
I loved DW2, but in this version, it seems like a grind to get new traps. I like making different builds with cool traps, but I dont like the grind. It takes away the excitement.

Thank you for working on adding controller support I appreciate it
- Hexurion · v1.0.24
controller support???
- Avarice · v1.0.24
I believe I’ve found a bug in the iOS version (v1.0.24). And possibly previous versions. I’m trying to use the Breeze rune, but it says “Incompatible with other runes.” I understand Breeze must be used by itself. The problem is that I cannot find any way to remove the runes that are already on the rune board. I’ve tried: * Tapping a rune. * Pressing and holding a rune. * Double-tapping. * Dragging the rune. * Tapping empty slots. * Using the red circular-arrow button. * Pressing the green check and the red X. The red circular-arrow only toggles selection, and the green check/red X only save or exit. There doesn’t appear to be any option to unequip or replace an individual rune. Is this a bug in the iOS interface, or is there a gesture or control I’m missing? Thanks
- Camos10 · v1.0.24
well it seems like fun. I was a big fan of the other dungeon warfare games. however, I literally cannot progress in the game because two of the levels are literally black screens. and this was after like maybe an hour of gameplay. the two levels are crypt of the necromancer and ashen rails. ui stays intact but black screen. a workaround I found is opening encyclopedia sometimes works. sometimes crypt also explodes with colors after some time.
- Devin Rowe · v1.0.24
The gameplay is awesome, when I can actually get to it. This new map and card system you implemented is bizarre, cryptic and a complete waste of my time. I get so angry just trying to find a map to play that I end up randomly tapping things until something happens, and then it’s usually something I already played. Your old system was fine and easy to understand, this is nonsense and it makes me not want to play at all. I’m disappointed because I really like your games.
- Misterblasty · v1.0.22
this is the coolest game ever
- unknown · v1.0.23
This is an excellent series that deserves attention. The gameplay is tight and interesting. However the confusing menus, new map system and cards all detract from the excellent tower defense. I’ve played the first two so I feel like this iteration is a step in the wrong direction. Updated review: I noticed the place tiles automatically button that I think is targeted for my play style. So I think it manages the map automatically if you are not into the tile management.
- iPhone 14 gamer · v1.0.22
it's good it's just different than the first two, I don't like the way the game progresses. idk I think the second was the best so far, but this one is ok just different
- Cory Henderson · v1.0.23
awesome game! being able to use any tower that you like and not being stuck to one makes it feel a lot more fun.
- Aaron Lehr · v1.0.23
I would give this game five stars if they would use better spelling and grammar. I know the developers of this game are smart enough to correctly spell words like “won’t,” but the sad truth is they choose not to do so. They must be trying to relate to younger audiences or stupid people who don’t understand punctuation. Either way, shame on them for perpetuating a disregard for basic spelling and grammar. Again, fix it and get five stars. Great game otherwise!
- Master P C · v1.0.22
I'm assuming this was just released, it's very buggy, I'm playing on a pixel 10 pro and the game has been freezing, opening to a black screen, and turning my phone into a hand warmer. I think I will wait for it to be updated. I really enjoyed the 1st two games.
- Ryan Huber · v1.0.23
Haven’t played any of the previous games but as a TD lover and reading reviews I decided to buy it. Absolutely incredible game already, can’t believe I never saw or heard about the series until now. 100% recommend
- Just2w · v1.0.22
I can't play the game, every time i open the Loadout menu in the first stage and try to place a trap, the game just crashes. 🙁 Edit: The last update fixed the issue and i can actually play the game ! Really enjoying it so far, it was definitely worth the price ! 😄
- oskar zielinski · v1.0.23
Good, some nice ne2 featues, but short and a few missing traps from the 2nd game
- James · v1.0.21
Despite buying and playing all three games on other systems, it always feels worth it to also buy to play on my tablet and this one is no different! Definitely one of the few games that can provide a very specific form of tower defense (trap defense) in a way that always feels fresh and satisfying as hell, just simply marvelous if it hits right for you.
- Shiverelectric · v1.0.22
really happy to see this come to mobile! very few exceptional games that honour your time and effort on the phone. I feel that certain traps were more fun and rewarding than others, but the ones that were gave a lot of fun across all the different challenges throughout the campaign
- Robbie MacFarlane
Every once in a while I search the App Store hoping to see another iteration and I was so excited to see 3 released. These games are perfect and unique takes on the Tower Defense genre. Play them all!
- Bogenbroom6 · v1.0.21
This is an absolute gem! In a sea of excrement that is the play store, games like this should be made to stand out. One of the best TD games I've played on mobile. Depth and attention to detail. Love the death cries! Bloons!?!
- Matt Davis · v1.0.21
This is my favorite recent tower defense. Great progression, great interactions with different tower configurations. I already bought it on my PC and am buying again to have it available mobile.
- No such thing as an app · v1.0.2
I can confirm this is in fact DW3 and not a scam. 👍 The lack of any reviews made me wonder before purchasing it.
- Kaleb Jacobsen · v1.0.2
I’m so excited to see a new entry to this series. I have 100s of hours in the first two of the games and cannot wait for what surprises this one holds.
- looking for an actual game · v1.0.2
I’ve been a huge fan of this series since the first game. I have them on multiple platforms. I was hoping for a third game and here it is! You get some of the same that you come to expect and more additional features to make it fresh. Even if you’ve never played any of the games before, you can jump in now and I highly suggest you do.
- Geense the Lethargic · v1.0
I’m biased. I love Dungeon warfare 1,2,and 3.
- Sawdust_. · v1.0
