1200 hours through steam and the app store. Been playing on and off for years. Very good game. The mobile version's controls are a little hard to get used to, but not terrible after awhile, and you can just connect a controller if you can't handle them. also the pre-nerf grasslands trial was bull****, I'm glad they changed probably the one thing that I found indigestible for this game.

Great game, not too difficult to get into, only thing I wish was done differently was the currency system since you keep some of your cash when going back to the town but not much, however it still carries back into the dungeon where you can lose your money very quickly compared to how quickly you gain it on completion

This procedurally generated dungeon crawler has really grown on me. It's a roguelite so you slowly get stronger each run. It reminds me of Rogue Legacy and it's deceptively challenging. It really calls you back to try again just one more time. This is an easy must have.

Hello! I’ve seen many people in the reviews complaining about parts of the game but as a person who has actual beat every part of the game I believe it is just a skill issue. It’s supposed to be a hard game that gets easier overtime. So have fun! Don’t worry so much! And stop blaming the game for it being harder than normal. They are called CHALLENGES for a reason!It’s not supposed to be easy at the beginning. So take your time and find all the beauty that was put into this game

I've almost 100% the game (except item set), the alt costume including Livina, the items, the boss rush and the achievement with a play time of nearly 94 hours. I gotta say I REALLY LIKE THIS GAME. Though I feel like there's nothing to do in this game anymore. But I hope and wish you can make a mode available to those who 100% the game which will let you bring any type of weapons to the dungeon and having to eat food without increasing the satiety level. thanks for hearing my thoughts 🙂‍↕️

Im addicted. I'm used to playing Dead Cells, but I'm currently more obsessed with this game. My only problem is one sort of glitch. When you save before continuing a run, upon continuing the items won't show their sets and even the list won't show items properly. I hope this gets fixed, because everything else is perfect.

A very good side scrolling pixel roguelite game with good music and fluid gameplay. Has plenty of references and a silly sense of humour. This is simply the pc game ported to the phone very well, with modifiable touch controls as good as you're gonna get.

Fin game, runs smoothly on the Retroid Pocket 3+, including full controller support. I hit a couple of issues when I switched the controller between Xbox and Nintendo style in the Retroid settings while the game was backgrounded - first there was an error about not being able to launch the unity engine, then after a reboot and reinstall it claimed to be out of storage (there was ~30gb free), but another reboot fixed it.

Every time I reopen the game, it says unity failed to initialise. Restarting the app and rebooting doesn't work so I have to uninstall and reinstall every time. I'm playing on a Logitech G Cloud and if I talk to the dog, the controller suddenly controls the dog and the player is controlled by on screen controls, with no way to revert. If I quit and reload then I have to reinstall like I mentioned before. Game is unplayable.

This game looks really good and I really want to play it. Unfortunately I have purchased it twice, and every time I was unable to get it to boot. I'm pretty good at debugging stuff and I wasn't able to stop the errors that happened on startup. I tried this on multiple Android devices. I'm really disappointed because this game does look very good, but in its current technical state I cannot recommend it.

I purchased game, had it downloaded, and when I open the games it brings up an error message saying "Not enough storage" even though I've deleted everything other than Dungreed itself. I'm not sure why it's not working, but I was so stoked to get to play it. Bummer!

Absolute Perfection, but one suggestion.

This is probably my favorite roguelite of all time. That being said: there needs to be a skill tree for elemental damage. Poison, fire, frost, and electric are great, but could use a bump to compensate for niche itemization. Other than that…I would marry Dungreed if it were a person.

Repetitive and unforgiving

I’ve played for a few hours- here’s what I gathered: You go into the dungeon, and eventually die. The only thing you get out of it is a bit of gold (currency). All your weapons and stats are now gone forever. Rinse and repeat until you can prestige and get a minor stat boost. Yeah that’s basically the whole game. Worth $5? Yeah, sure. It’s reasonably worth $5.

Over a day in playtime and my thoughts:

I have already reached max amounts of “aegis” and my thoughts are that the game is generally amazing but the trials are disgustingly hard on mobile and should either be removed or reworked. I truly love this game and the fact that I cannot access two bosses because of the fact mobile players cannot parkour right is infuriating game design. (Also the english translations are horrible). Overall fun for a bit, but the devs really needed to put more thought behind the mobile platform. And how to make the trials hard but still in the realm of possibility. The second trial is especially atrocious. The two sectioned shooting part needs to be reworked. In general it is nigh impossible without a real keyboard or controller.

Tried my best but it would not work. The game would load up until the intro then the joystick would appear but everything else would stay black. The stick was unresponsive and there was no way back to the menu except closing the game, which would start the process over. Worst part is I can't get a refund. I really wanted to like this game.

One of, if not the best, roguelike games I've played. Incredibly smooth, easy to get into, and has loads of content, giving it a lot of replayability. A Retro Roguelike Worth Checking Put!

I recently snagged this game and since then I have not been able to put it down! I usually tend to shy away from most retro platformers as they tend to offer very little in the way of depth in terms of RPG or even loot elements, but Dungreed delivers on that and then some! I absolutely love the ease of learning to play, but also the very deep RPG and Loot elements that offer TONS of different metas you can use to get through each run as it were, it’s a lot like Dead Cells in that respect which I totally dig. The price tag of a few dollars is also very worth it as it definitely is helped by the premium structure involved not having to play ads constantly (I’m not complaining about freemium games really) or simply being able to reset your skill points at will. The game also offers great replay value as I was able to complete the dungeon within the first few days, but on subsequent play through you start unlocking more surprises and goodies which keeps it fresh and engaging. I can’t recommend this game enough! Great work Devs!
