Retro City Rampage DX

again another mediocre execution and a gta clone that always has its issues. the missions get so ridiculous it's not worth playing.. wish I could give it a better rating considering I'm a gta fiend but I'm not sure about this one.

It is not good on tablets. Can you please add the option to freely move and resize the controls ? It is reeeeeeally hard especially for driving on tablets.

This game is so fun, silly and exciting, I don't know how many times I've bought this game on different platforms, I think it's the 5th, what I'm really waiting for is the port of Shakedown Hawaii on Android.

I just had the best trip down memory lane. I remember spending good time on this goofing around, being silly and getting up to no good. For anyone who's not played, imagine if GTA 1, or 2, was on the NES. That's likely the best way to describe it. Full of homages and great fun, it has a beautiful amount of depth to it, silly or otherwise. 10/10

Retro City Rampage on the go! It's really a fun game to have in your pocket, but there's no indication until you buy that this is lacking many settings that were available on the PC release. I really wish they'd provided some features like the tv simulation modes, in my opinion it really sells the retro feel of this game to play it in 4:3 resolution but that option Is Not Included. Still, the whole game is here and it's just as fun as I remember.

WE NEED SHAKEDOWN HAWAII ON MOBLE NOW !!! This is an amazing game . I paid for this version to have on my phone. I also paid the $10 to have it on my 3ds as well. As of last night I paid the $15 to have Shakedown Hawii on my 3ds as well. It's awesome to have Retro City & Shakedown both together side by side. If you love old school over top view GTA and 1980s & 1990s pop culture then you'll love this game.

Love the references to other pop media, the gameplay is fun, the chaos even more so. Wish there was more variety of weapons and car colours but it's not a deal breaking. Fantastic game 11/10

Don't get me wrong, the game is amazing. I've played it across multiple devices and beat the game multiple times. Gameplay is not why I'm rating this 2 stars. The game has failed to start multiple times when I try to play it and crashes almost immediately. Sometimes I can get it to work if I spam it, but that hasn't been working as of lately. I'd love to rate this higher, but I'd also love for the port to work properly.

Retro City game is supper amazing much more fun compared the Chinatown, in Retro City I'm really surprised to see that we can also take cover behind small objects like modern gta games, also there is alot activities to do also shops, entrable buildings, stores etcs. My Just request to Developers that please Port 'Shakedown hawaii" to Mobile devices or make Retro City part 2.

Do NOT Buy, this version is currently broken, previously, only the Achievements were broken, but now the game just quits as soon as it initialises Google Play Services, Better to stream it or run the DOS Version on DOSBox.

5 stars are not high enough! Gameplay wise it's GTA, oldskool top-down view. Quite some (side) missions and stuff to buy. (guns, vehicles, haircuts, masks etc) Great humor and funny references to other games, movies and such. Has loads of options, going from SNES like controls with auto-lock to dual stick shooter (HID/Xinput controllers supported) up to changing the games look. (HD or low resolution, with multiple colour palettes. If you want there's monochrome and black & white!)
