this is what a game should be, fun and challenging. unlike most of the mobile games which are filled with micro transaction greed

This is just fun to play. Defined. Great job, it’s SO much fun to play!
- Jkluk23 · v2.0.14
Pleasantly-surprised to find one of the best and most-addictive (pay-once!) games on iOS!
- TheSublimeGoose · v2.0.14
Can I get a tutorial for the tutorial?
- Brian Z. Porter · v2.0.14
this game has great bones. the battle system is fun and the weapon customization is cool. however it feels like this is the only thing the devs tried to do with it and it's missing the balance that makes a game fun. I'm still in my first run after like 40 fights and everything seems completely stagnant. I save up money to buy a store upgrade, see nothing new, and then steamroll the enemies anyways. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing.
- Daniel Mourad · v2.0.14
This game honestly surprised me. I didn’t really know what I was getting into when I bought it, but it’s well worth the money. The controls and the UI are REALLY strange, though. I ended up scrapping my first clan because I thought it was bugged (it wasn’t bugged. I just didn’t realize you *pick up* things with a tap, and I didn’t understand why I couldn’t put my dwarf where he needed to be). And the HUD just doesn’t feel natural to navigate. I feel like the tab orders don’t make sense (I find myself tapping other tabs before I remember the tab I want is completely opposite side). And I end up accidentally selling things I don’t want to sell because you have to RE-tap the coin bag in order to end it. I’d also love QoL improvements, like being able to my dwarves” growth stats WITHOUT going into the tavern (and then the next tab is the crafting screen? And then the tab after that is your dwarves again lol). There are small annoyances and frustrations, but the game is just so incredibly fun and addicting. I love it and I’m so happy I bought it. Note to people also new to this game: where you choose your next battle determines which location you’ll end up, so consider that when you’re choosing battles! (You can also reroll battles, btw!) The location determines what items and with what affixes an item can have. Ex: Caves (purple gem color) give dexterity, crit chance, and poison resist. So you probably wouldn’t want to craft a shield while you’re at the Caves!

good game for 10 h no more(true endgame is too grindy for me)
- yuval roter (ducks)
fun auto battler with roguelite elements to help to push forward. wish there was more you could do during battles

Well worth the money for this game. I have been playing for a month and no regrets. We need more games like this that don't require micro transactions!
- Jonathan McDonald · v2.0.14
no way to get a refund? Wth. The policy was not announced. This is cheap behavior.

Dwarves, Glory, Loot!

I've put in around 50 hours and this game is fantastic.
- Z W M · v2.0.14
most of the time I sent my dwarves to fight it would show only white screen, and rarely fine, other than that the game is fun I just can't see the action and also after losing and go back to menu it gets buggy, would give five star if the visual bugs gets fix
- BRV_x NovaTzy? · v2.0.14
Worth the money, cant wait for the sequel. The combat is great each weapon choice has its advantages and disadvantages, i have not found a meta, even 4 healers and tanks can get over whlemed or pushed off the field. A grow your empire campaign hex map would be a nice addition (start with a castle hex and have to win fights to gain control of other hexes, if your warband dies lose hexes over time till another warband is ready)
- Aaron Barchie · v2.0.14
a truly wonderful and fun game it holds a lot of memories for me playing the demo as a child i was not as good at strategy then and just gave them what I thought were the best weapons ignoring item stats but its autobattle mechanics make you feel like you are helping them battle with the tactics and strategys you chose while also watching them fight in your name the variety of weapons keeps it fresh without feeling overwhelming and you will always learn something new about the game when you play
- Omar Gonzalez · v2.0.14
game is really good to start playing but even on easy game play its really difficult to get past certain levels. its a cheap game but already im done playing it without beating the game. got boring really quickly.
- Anthony Gardiner · v2.0.14

actually such a great game
- Big E · v2.0.14
amazing
- Joaquin Vazquez · v2.0.14
Neat game, though the real meag of this game is its massive amount of metaprogression. Runs quickly feel stale as there aren't enough interesting mechanics to really justify more than a few runs, let alone the dozens you'll need to finish the massive skill tree.
- Jeremy Kato · v2.0.14
Oh how I missed this madness lol, still miffed the original encounter wasnt from the creator but some third party.
- Dallas Sheetz · v2.0.14
one of the better idle games I've played but has enough UI bugs to put me off.. and i only played an hour or so -the button to see my teams dps is broke, but I can use the enemy one, pretty important -the sign-in for Google play just times out saying I have no Internet connection despite me leaving this review from the same phone.. tried turning Wi-Fi off, reinstalled and power cycled my phone also but didn't help Motorola g stylus 2025
- Ant of Earth · v2.0.14
fun as hell
- John Marszalek · v2.0.14
game might be fun, but the UI is too small and has bad contrast.
- Anthony Nichols · v2.0.14
I agree that there's something missing. it's seemingly complex enough to be an rpg, but in a casual style with not enough information or guidance to be an idler. Any information you want to really engage and build well is hidden and unexplained. I am blown away this is so popular, guess I missed whatever it is.
- Paul Mourer · v2.0.14
fixed:STILL white screens on battles. unenjoyable.edit: after update was able to run a couple battles before white screen started happening again.
- Robert · v2.0.14
I love this game. Hours melt away watching my dwarfs clash with Orc hoards.
- Dazzarth · v2.0.13
This game caught me by surprise. Very grind worthy.
- gigorgei · v2.0.14
Amazing game. I'm so happy it's finally on mobile!
- Adam Leat · v2.0.13
Enjoying this game! At first wasn't so sure but after playing a few hours, definitely recommend! Find cool loot, deck out your dwarves & toggle formations, send them to battle... Somewhat roguelike with a lot of content and no IAPs, intrusive adverts or permissions. 5 stars!
- David Lawrence · v2.0.13
boring, tedious and over priced. gutted I can't get my money back
- Adam Such · v2.0.13
This is a weird game, it's not an idle game, but it is in no way engaging after the first 20mins of a run. However runs last hours at time and and you very rarely have to make an interesting decisions or choices and then eventually you hit a cap were it's just the same things every battle with no choices at all. Then you have an absolutely awful UI stuffed with so much info but there's no explanation of what any of the stats or words mean.
- Callum · v2.0.13
it is straight up a good game. worth every penny!
- Simon Busch · v2.0.13
very good game(if u dont have money for pc version you can get mobile version for cheaper)
- Sugi PulaBa
Automated, watch number go up, non playing game. I need to actually do something.
- AtomicElbow
Just a grind. not real skill required. Just a grind of a game that is a time suck with no real skill involved. Dont get fooled.
- Johnath Carmichael
This game could be fun but it needs to be optimized in a bad bad way. The font is tiny, nothing is easy to click on. The tutorial tells you very little. I feel like this could be 5 stars if yall just finished it and made it phone friendly. Now this would probably be fun on a bigger screen or tabelt but it sucks on phones. i would have refuned if I hadn't waited so late. 1 star just because it's a game.
- Daniel Wheeler · v2.0.13
I love this game with all my heart, found it on PC first pertnear shat me bloomers when I found it for android!
- James “ꭒŋcʟeьꬲьo” Ritzmann · v2.0.13
simply fun
- Ganon · v1.21.24
It is a nice concept and a nice pixel graphic. You need to improve drag and drop for the items, it is buggy. Items does not always drop and grab wrong items.

- ricky bobby · v1.21.24
It's pretty fun but it does get insanely repetitive my biggest gripe is shop upgrade scaling is insane when you're only getting 2k-5k per battle around battle 100, also the rune system is extremely convoluted I have no idea what's going on with it. Honestly a little expensive for what it is
- Gibby · v1.21.24
rune circle could do with optimising for mobile. you can't see what the rune does when selecting new ones. you have to select a rune not knowing what it does. love this game though. top notch! no adds, no BS, quality game, bravo 🙌
- Max Klein · v1.21.24
it's a lot of fun
- Matthew Tromp · v1.21.24
amazing game
- Mike n
Very fun, but there's some glitches. just had my rune circle completely reset and not refund the points, so I'm suddenly out a lot of investment.
- Michael Shehata · v1.21.24
It's genuinely such a boring game, I expected something like Loop Hero but it just felt like I was playing an idle game. Gutted that I paid money for it, deciding within a couple hours of playing that the game was just overly repetitive grinding for no pay off. Would love for an option to refund me the money
- Jay Robertson
best $5 you can spend on Google. No ads, no micro transactions, popups, loot box gambling or begging for money. Just buy and play. it's almost as addictive as Tetris
- zehdarian81 · v1.21.24
Amazing
- Tim · v1.21.24
Dwarf loot, Dwarf have glory, Dwarf die
- Oddrock · v1.21.24
This game is worth the price, and I enjoyed it for several hours, but it became repetitive and lost its appeal halfway through my third run. I don’t expect much more for $5, so I do recommend it to anyone who’s on the fence. The first time playing, the poorly explained menu mechanics will make you want to start over and play again once you’ve figured them out, but that’s where the replayability ends. The menus are poorly laid out, disorganized, and buggy, which wouldn’t be as big an issue if there was gameplay outside of the menu system. There’s a large skill tree to explore and tons of equipment options to use to optimize your group, but the gameplay itself lacks the variety to remain engaging otherwise. So, if you love grinding to get the most optimized gear and min-maxing your skill tree, this game is for you. Just don’t expect any action. Your dwarves fight the same handful of enemy types over and over again and do so automatically. Your only role is to manage your team and equipment. I will still play this from time to time until I’ve unlocked all the equipment, but it has lost its appeal for now.
- Master P C · v1.21.24
A deceptively complex game where you manage the weaponry and tactics of a company of dwarves. There are tons of viable builds and more open up as you progressively move through the between run skill tree. If you like Caves of Qud or other deep games with simple art styles, this could be for you.
- MadAdam10161 · v1.21.24
No strategy really needed. I pick the hardest battles and never get close to losing a dwarf. I have so much money and nothing to spend it on because I have all the loot I need. It feels like there is no point in playing this game.
- JohnBob1$7& · v1.21.24
Not having any cloud saves is pure garbage - also the veteran percentages are absolute lies.
- 4MasterZar4 · v1.21.24
This game started out really fun and addictive for the first few hours. Then the difficulty spike of the levels jumped up like 3x out of nowhere on level 90. Theres nothing i can do to progress as this isn’t the sort of autobattler where your units gain experience when you aren’t playing. They don’t even gain experience if you aren’t winning. With nothing left to do but either let all my dwarves die in battle and get game over I am deleting this app and leaving this review.
- Mudplayerx · v1.21.21
This game is so refreshing fun and addicting! I have hated the scam the mobile games have become. It’s nice just to play a game, not get spammed with micro transactions! I just pay and I got a full game!
- Jjhot11 · v1.21.21
Best one in years. Good job y’all!
- MikeyLikesIt!!! · v1.21.21
I was just looking for a game like this. Something like a turn based rpg, with real depth that isn’t full of garbage adds. This feels like exactly what I was looking for. I’m especially happy to support someone publishing a life long goal game as a solo developer. Great work on this project! I’m excited to see where it goes!
