As a six-year-old, “El Hijo” must always sneak past the dangers of his world. As he overcomes his challenges, he gains self-confidence, becomes more cunning, and, along with it, finds more schemes to get past his foes. His epic journey will lead him through a remote monastery, a harsh and unforgiving stretch of desert, and a frontier town rife with crime and villainy. The journey begins when a farmer and her son are attacked by bandits who raze their farm to the ground. The mother decides to leave the boy at a secluded monastery to protect him. However, the place doesn’t feel right and he plans his escape. “El Hijo - A Wild West Tale” is a non-violent stealth game in which you rely on the mischievous, playfulness of a young child. Using the shadows to his advantage is the core element of the game, as “El Hijo” will often have to hide. Without needlessly adding new mechanics, the gameplay is extended naturally, as variations of existing mechanics are gradually introduced and then combined to increase the challenge. These twists on familiar mechanics are often a product of the varied, increasingly dangerous environments that “El Hijo” must traverse to reach his ultimate goal. I love this game because of graphics, animations, etc, but I would appreciate if you would add some things that would not just help me, but also other people to make this game more playable and entertaining for everyone. My first suggestion is adding a ‘continue’ button so we could continue where we left off and not restart the level. Second (never happened to me but” maybe fix the glitches/bugs that make you game unplayable to other people. Third is increasing the size of the buttons so people could press it better, but don’t make it too big where it covers the screen. My last recommendation (not helpful to game) is to go back to the games you mad and read comments of other people who has played your game. They might complain about a problem and you must see that and respond if you have fixed it or something else. Adding these suggestions I gave you would help the game. If not this game would maybe have less likes and would go unpopular. So please see this message and do these things to fix your game. Thank you.

I enjoyed the game for the most part, but had similar issues to others with lagging and crashing (on iPad 5th Gen, so hardly the latest model: that’s why I didn’t take away more stars). Mostly, the lag issues combined with the small action icons combined with a very finicky interface led to a lot of undeserved captures. In particular, trying to stand in the correct place to push a movable ladder (as opposed to climb it) or to hide in a movable mine cart proved unnecessarily difficult, especially when you have fat fingers and can’t tell because of lag whether you’ve actually hit “crouch/hide” or not. Performing actions in quick succession (such as the sequence required to inspire the final child in The Inauguration) was nearly impossible. There were also a surprising number of places where it was possible to get stuck and be unable to move at all, requiring a level restart/reset. And the level of precision needed for the final challenge of The Farm was just cruel. That said, apart from those issues, it was a fun game, and a lot longer than I was expecting, though I wish the finale wasn’t so abrupt (I finished The Uprising without even realizing I was at the end!). Nice job, devs!

Constant crashes in the middle of a level almost from the start are frustrating and make the „game“ trash. No update in over a year makes me think it is abandoned. Beware!

The controls could really use an improvement. The game has a tendency toward sluggishness. Plus having an option to move the controls to a better location on the screen would help a lot. Having the primary motion control located to the left of the action makes it very difficult to operate the character when one is right handed.

I love this game but have only been able to play for aboutn15 minutes as it keeps crashing. The controls disappear and the game freezes.
