Entertaining and just the right amount of complexity in puzzles. The story was amusing and had a good twist. The game took me 6 hours total to finish. Feedback for the developers: There were a few unintuitive puzzles. The one combining the light in the postcard and painting was so very frustrating. I kept wanting to look at the postcard under the UV light magnifying glass. A visual hint of overlapping stained glass would help. Also, one minor bug: you can take the red wire multiple times.

Not my favorite game from FMG, but still worth 4*. Always worth the $ Pros: -Length: Was longer than other games & had things you could interact with that led nowhere which was fun -Scenery was beautiful. I loved the area above the cable car. It was unique yet believable & was very much in FMG style -Most puzzles made sense. I did use hints, but not constantly Cons: -Gameplay was too similar to Crookhaven, running all over -Animal welfare was questionable -Maze/roses could've been more

My new favorite

I have all the Fire Maple games and I love them all, but I think this is my favorite. When I got stumped, I was able to go to the clues, and I love the map interface where we can jump from one scene to another directly. This game is very fun, made me think a lot, and the graphics are great, as usual.

I had a little trouble getting into the game at first, but I'm glad I kept playing. Turned out to have a very entertaining story. (The 2 poodles' trick cracked me up - very cute.) The AI generated graphics are pretty crazy if you look closely, lol, but the scenes are all still extremely detailed and beautiful. Will there be more to this tale? I hope so.

I’ve played all the fire maple games and liked them all. Crookhaven is my favorite but this one is a very close second. I really enjoy the relaxing style of roaming around and solving puzzles. I appreciate having the map but I rarely used it because I just enjoyed the scenery

I think this might be Fire Maple's best game yet. I've played all of their games, and this one felt like it was noticeably longer than the others. The puzzles were comfortably similar enough to previous games, while still having a few that were tricky enough that it took some brainpower. The only times I "had" to use a hint was when I just couldn't remember where a box I had seen previously was. I just hope that no poodles, seals or bears were harmed in the making of the game!

Worth the wait!

Started Maze of Thorns last night as soon as it dropped. So far, the story is intriguing, the puzzles have got me puzzled and I can’t put it down. It looks amazing and is keeping me entertained. Great dopamine boost:)
