I am enjoying the game so far, but for some reason, whenever I try to shop, I cannot see what the in-game seller is offering, nor do I receive any confirmation of the items and weapons I have bought; all I get is the DM telling me I spent the coin, but I do not receive the items or weapons in my inventory and obviously I cannot equip them since I did not receive them, even though the story continues as if I actually received them.

I give it a 2 because it is fun and I subscribed for a month but the more you play the worse it gets. eventually the ai has no clue what's in your inventory and combat becomes more a fail for fail until you beat them anyway. I had 546 gold pieces in my inventory and couldn't spend it because the ai thought I only had 11 and also its not sure what weapons you actually have. with some polishing it would be totally worth the 8 bucks a month or whatever but right now I'm just gonna put it down.

im upset- I played a long term campaign on here, and right at the big climax I had a crew of 4 characters that were working together to fight these guys and once combat started I was on my own. I even tried to prompt the NPCs to help but the AI refused to even acknowledge that the NPCs existed and I was supposed to be up in a tree but the AI wrote the combat as if I was on the ground... my character ended up dying and the campaign ended and I put a lot of time aneffort into it and now its gone.

It started out great, but the AI DM makes horrifying mistakes that make the campaign a constant no-win. My boat got scuttled in a reef that couldn't be bypassed or avoided, so the cargo was lost. Next mission I get three days to complete, and the DM uses up 2 in a blacksmith shop. Retcons and I complete the mission and buy a new boat, only for the DM to scuttle that one in a reef that appears out of nowhere on an easy mission. Make it difficult, but not impossible ffs

Tutorial takes way too long, and doesn't give the option to skip it. This has always been a problem with apps and games. Long tutorials = disinterest. Also, the style of the A.I. is very limited, and I can kinda see why this isn't getting a good rating because of its paywall. And the character description section is irrelevant. Your playing an A.I. story that doesn't even pertain to your character's description. Not sure why devs add this. Total letdown, and not very interesting to play.

I played this game for about 20 minutes. It seemed super cool. then I got a message that said I can't continue for 17 (!!!) more days unless I bought a message pack - $6 for 300 more messages. 300 messages goes by in a blink of an eye. so, yes, cool game but also ridiculous in what it allows and how much it allows. until it can support an actual gamer, I would not recommend this.

Good concept but shouldn't have to pay to be someone's beta tester. The AI makes to many guesses about what your actions are, triggering events you never initiated. It is unable to keep up with what you have equipped and does not modify the environment correctly based on your actions. Decent playability, but once I used my allotment of messages trying to deal with actions it took for me now I have to wait 18 days before I can do anything else or pay $6-$55 a month to continue now. BETA! CRAZY!

The engine & writing are decent at best. The dice rolling are a cool atmospheric feature at the start, but load times and lag begin to be a noticeable pain very soon after. Message limits are strict relative to the cost. 2 messages a day (60 per month) on free tier, avg 10 per day (300 per month) on the first paid tier. Some clunky mechanics require prompts and will eat into this quota quickly (rest, each round of combat, initiating / exiting merchant interactions). Can't recommend it RN.

It's a great app and I love the concept of it. I have not faced any bugs or glitches that have been mentioned in others reviews and I can understand the price as developing a game with this much feature is costly but I would definitely suggest to improve free message limit and instead of making it monthly it should be 60 message a day or 60 message a week both can work . otherwise it's perfect.

good concept but poor implementation. every fight is 1v1 even if the scenario shows a group battle, it always ends vith my first strike. I literally hit the enemy squad captain for 1 damage and that was enough to end the battle between three seperate squads.

Getting wrong on what happens, asking skill checks not reflecting what happens. here is an example: mission protecting a caravan, no problem, flawless, caravaneers thank you, no losses. back to the guild, asking for better missions, failing persuasion. there, it goes awry. The IA says that goods were missing (nope). reminding how it went, checking with caravaneers... the IA asks for a DECEPTION check. no. hell no. and it was not the first time...

Play store will not let me join the beta unless I switch to my business account (not doing that). I know that's not the fault of the devs for this game though, so I won't take any stars away for that. However, the app is very limited in what you can do and the pre written responses don't make sense often. For example: I play a human fighter, specify that I came from a human village, and the premade intro for town square states that I "left my elven hometown". Only 60 messages a MONTH? Seriously?

In my experience, I lost most of my dice rolls. The game over extends a small trip through a forest with constant traps and ambushes or sometimes it just stays blank and makes you have to repeat an action or write a part of the story. Play foe a while and it doesn't finish the paragraph and you have to guess the situation one is in. It feeks that it does this on purpose to make you waste your word limit and make ypu buy extensions. I tested it and even if you pay it continues to do the same.
