Okay so, the actual in game experience is absolutely amazing, no doubt about that at all BUT. and this is a big issue for me, the chat limit, that chat limit really just ruins the flow of the story, like, oh hey you're getting all absorbed and about to do something really fun like fight a dragon(or something like that) and then BOOM. the tells you that you've reached your chat limit and have to either wait for a day and half, or pay money to keep chatting, it just ruins the flow of the adventure

I enjoyed the gameplay that I was allowed to have at first. The reason why I'm giving this game two stars is because the absurd wait time for my new messages to reset is ridiculous. I'm sorry but I'm not waiting 28 years for my messages to reset so I can play again. If you want people to like your game and play for free, then lower the message timer or get better prices for playing your game.

Dont bother, not worth it. *Could* be pretty good, the AI DM isn't bad once it gets around to answering. But Every. Single. Operation. Is *painfully* slow. Like, a minute or more per turn. I used to play quicker games over dialup modems in the '90s! And then, just as you get into it, you get hit by an insultingly expensive paywall. This app isn't fast enough to pay for *at all*. I'm damn sure not paying good money for "hurry up and wait". Nope!

Everything you type is a "message" which cost money. on subscription they refresh after 30 real time calendar days pass! if you try to be creative, each text counts as a message and relies on random number generation which is heavily weighed against you so you will fail most often requiring multiple attempts each taking more messages. it is far from being a relaxing story immersion and is just a frustrating money sink.

At first it was good as a first time D&D player but it requires me to pay for messages when it is still beta testing? So i waited 3 days for a free message, then nothing happens, the timer only went back to 3 days, but i waited cause i thought it was worth it. I got my free messages but when the ai is narrating, it isn't always finished, some part of it is cut and repeated dialogs so wasted msg and the next free msg is in 28 days? 😂 It's not worth it for its high price guys

much of the response of the dungeon master is incomplete it leaves you hanging. I noticed the d20 had two 6's on it. I also noticed it felt like railroading the player. freedom of action was limited to the story and the die rolls refected the railroaded direction

I honestly could have liked this game if I didn't have solid reason to believe the dice were loaded against me. across 20 rolls I got above 10 only four times, which meant I failed 18 of my checks. I didn't want to be favored by the dice, but I did want them to be fair.

It's a great app and I love the concept of it. I have not faced any bugs or glitches that have been mentioned in others reviews and I can understand the price as developing a game with this much feature is costly but I would definitely suggest to improve free message limit and instead of making it monthly it should be 60 message a day or 60 message a week both can work . otherwise it's perfect.

good concept but poor implementation. every fight is 1v1 even if the scenario shows a group battle, it always ends vith my first strike. I literally hit the enemy squad captain for 1 damage and that was enough to end the battle between three seperate squads.

I look lovely the game, I just hope I can edit previous dialogues just incase the DM makes a mistake or if I made a mistake when typing a command, also I can't read what's happening when I'm battle mode because the game is forcing me to the most recent notifications, I just hope while in battle phase I can freely scroll back up to read what is happening, instead of waiting for the battle pause to be over

I personally had a great time with the AI, some of the responses were bugged, yes but I didn't mind it, until I eventually ran out of messages, and I had to wait for like a week, and I accepted it until the 2nd time when I eventually ran out of messages, and I realized that it felt quicker than last time but when I saw the timer it was 3 days so I paid no mind, until I came back and it was a full month. fun game overall to play on breaks, just wish the message resets were less strict.

The IA is drunk. Getting wrong on what happens, asking skill checks not reflecting what happens. here is an example: mission protecting a caravan, no problem, flawless, caravaneers thank you, no losses. back to the guild, asking for better missions, failing persuasion. there, it goes awry. The IA says that goods were missing (nope). reminding how it went, checking with caravaneers... the IA asks for a DECEPTION check. no. hell no. and it was not the first time...

interesting concept, clunky still. The AI's memory is still an issue, and monthly message resets for free players is pretty brutal. Played Paladin and it had issues with bonus actions and adding multiple sources of damage in a single turn.

Better than I expected. It would be nice if the AI was a little quicker, but it is a very complicated story system. I was completely blindsided by the 30 day reset time on the interactions. That's an insane amount of time... so I uninstalled. I was really hoping for more time in game, but I won't wait a month for another shot at it.

Play store will not let me join the beta unless I switch to my business account (not doing that). I know that's not the fault of the devs for this game though, so I won't take any stars away for that. However, the app is very limited in what you can do and the pre written responses don't make sense often. For example: I play a human fighter, specify that I came from a human village, and the premade intro for town square states that I "left my elven hometown". Only 60 messages a MONTH? Seriously?

In my experience, I lost most of my dice rolls. The game over extends a small trip through a forest with constant traps and ambushes or sometimes it just stays blank and makes you have to repeat an action or write a part of the story. Play foe a while and it doesn't finish the paragraph and you have to guess the situation one is in. It feeks that it does this on purpose to make you waste your word limit and make ypu buy extensions. I tested it and even if you pay it continues to do the same.

Well, the game is not free. you have a limited amount of "messages" that reset per month. and since it's AI driven, it's not very efficient and makes you burn them easily, after which you have to pay to play or wait 20 days.

The other things are good the experience is good one very bad thing you all NEED to fix is the fact that in free mode the message rest timer only works when the game is open, so if I am playing without spending money I need to keep the app open 12 hours if I want to continue, this is a really common sense kind of an issue, fix it so that the timer continues even after the game is closed and I'll most definitely download it again, that's the only reason you lost 3 stars seriously

so many problems. aside from being wildly expensive requiring repayment for only a few replies I spend at least half of them correcting the dm or trying to remind it of things it has forgotten. it changes the names of characters ect. worst of all it behaves like it is on rails. the characters are flat with little development and the dm does not respond to direct questions. it just answers by moving the story forward if it answers at all. it also will take your responses amd then do nothing 1/10

I haven't been playing long, the game is good, but there is no option to refuse to buy something or exit the shop menu, even if you don't select it the AI forces you to buy everything, I spent 300 coins on an unwanted potion. Also the countdown doesn't decrease when the game is closed. The subscriptions are pricey considering the exchange ratio and the I can see people quitting not because it isn't fun but because they're frustrated. I hope it's balance later I'm invested despite my low rating.

When I first saw the ad, I thought I finally found a game that isn't greedy, but boy was I wrong. It basically follows the same path as OOC Playable Anime in which you'll have limited messages and require to spend real money just to continue. I had high hopes on this app, but then it quickly faded away, how disappointing really. Do not recommend.

Great game but the fees are high. Its a highly specialized AI app for DnD, with great features from generated images for both characters and backgrounds to celebrating the dice rolls, which builds anticipation rather. Do note it's in early access so elements can be jarring particularly when transitioning between dialogue, combat and normal play. Cost is the issue for me with monthly subscriptions starting at £5.49 per 300 Messages to £49.49 for 3000. Maybe this is best viewed as a Kickstart.

You can basically create your own story/adventure. You can pick from pre loaded characters and stories or you can customize and create your own. You are only limited to what you write in response to what is going on around yoir character. Get into your character and create its story. Only downside is have come across is they start you with 50 free messages, once you reach 50 responses then you need to purchase more. Maybe offer like 25 free messages a day for subscribers? Best part - NO ADS!

I want to be so positive about this as it had alot of potential but the deeper you go into your campaign the more mistakes the AI makes, companions who suddenly appear out of thin air, while they left or were dismissed much earlier. dont get me started on the dice rolls, they almost always seem to fail when most critical giving a real railroad vibe. this is by far a unfinished app, charging these ingame prices for something so unfinished is cruel.

doesn't listen account for inventory wastes messages doesn't do math or skill checks properly. for example as a paladin I had divine favor, Searing smite, sacred weapon all active on a greataxe and it will only do the damage for the greataxe (1d12). when it should be 1d12+1d4+1d6. criticals regardless of them being failures or successes are completely meaningless . it also doesn't keep track of companions or number of enemies. making it unreliable in basically every way math should be involved.

the app and idea is good, sometimes the conversation can be dragging which kinda a turn off. also every reply is kinda a long waiting time. not bad, but waiting one month for some progress or pay a ridiculously high price. it's insane for a one month CD, not one day. so see you next month, probably not.
