I love the atmosphere of this game and the unique sci-fi setting. The story, characters, graphics and design, the combat, everything. Really feels like discovering a new world. To me this is a cozy experience, kind of like sitting down with a book you enjoy, far away from the noise of daily grind games and such, definitely a must play for any mobile gamer, rpg fan, or sci-fi fan.

Game is decent and does not reflect the technical errors. The client is experiencing for some users. But I cannot see the app on my home screen after reinstalling it multiple times (SamsungS23Ultra), and The lack of controller support is shocking, maybe the devs can add controller support later in the future. 2026 edit: Can we get a Google play games for PC version? I'd love to play this on my PC with proper controller support.

Reminds me a bit of Golden Sun cause puzzles and turn based battles. The combat is more engaging with real-time parrying and balance breaking chances to deal more combos. Appreciate the diverse playables, enemies, and NPCs. Side remarks when you pick treasures from every nook and cranny are cherry on top. Be warned that you can miss some stories (side quests), so be sure to save on separate slot every time you finish a part of main quest. Worth buying for the experience.

Why? Just why account login has to expire in an OFFLINE GAME?! Is this supposed to be an online or offline game?? Why do I even need to have an account to play offline game?!?! Do you even want me to play your game?? This is the most bizarre decision I've yet to see from a game company. I own a lot of other premium android game and they NEVER require me to do login, and even if they do, verification only happens ONCE when I first boot up the game!

So I'll change my review if things change but I'm not even through the tutorial and am loving it. I said if arknights released a paid game I would buy it 100 percent, considering I enjoy arknights for free so much. At this point I'm all over anything gryphline does. There are a few bugs, namely a crash that just freezes. I can hear the buttons working but the screens frozen. There is a bug with yans holes in skirt and vi3 stomach glitchin. so better than enfield!

i love this thing, really. probably first time ever i'm getting so much fun from a mobile game. the turn based combat is great and has this good impact because of real time parrying, visuals are outstanding, everything looks clear, smooth, just great. the story is kinda confusing, but it's pretty normal for hypergryph games, eventually you'll just understand everything that happens. and the soundtrack, best in mobile games imho. strongly recommend.

This game is awesome. I wish there were more anime-style premium RPGs like this on Android. It deserves 5 stars for this. It is a fun, complete game with no microtransactions in a new and unique setting, fun gameplay, interesting characters, and I hope they continue to build on it in future releases! It is also FULLY playable offline after you start your game and then you can upload your saves to the cloud when you connect to the internet. More mobile games need this kind of save system.

criminally underpriced turn based rpg (with realtime element of the whole party getting to jump any enemy that gets staggered like its an arpg). surprisingly solid worldbuilding although it's painfully clear that some corners were cut in its release. thankfully it was updated to have far more elaborate dialogue that made the ending far clearer. The game's only con is that it requires an account and to authenicate with the server every month to be playable offline.

I'm only a few hours in, but I can tell I will only love this game even more. Combat is very engaging, but still not overly complex. Just perfect for a mobile device. It is well optimized as well, despite me hearing it hadn't always been the case at launch. I can't say anything about the story yet, but my brain can process the dialogs better than when I play Arknights (same dev). I can highly recommend the game.

Incredibly fun game, great option when you're offline or don't want any gatchas. There's quite a bit of deep mechanics as well, with each character having different skills and combos that you can perform. After playing Genshin and Wuwa, I'll have to put Ex Astris near their level or even above.

Whenfield is still not released, so I tried this and wow. I don't really like turn based games, but this one is an exception. The combat feels great and the visuals are just perfect. Day 1 Arknights player. Bought this game on release bacuse they were both from the same company. But I haven't been able to play it yet on my main phone. I have a Xiaomi Black Shark 4 with default Chinese ROM with a Google framework installed to use Google apps. But it won't recognize it. My phone also wasn't supported on launch, wasn't able to check the game status/description. Had to keep me up to date with an old Xiaomi mix 2s. Im waiting for PC emulators to support Vulcan at this point.

I'm not sure why an account is required for a fully single-player, PvE JRPG—but that aside, this is easily one of the finest experiences available on mobile. The story does get a bit convoluted with all the lore and worldbuilding, which can be hard to fully digest, but the characters are fun, the combat is excellent, and the game runs exceptionally well. An easy recommendation. The only thing keeping it from a full 5 stars is the lack of native controller support.
