How far can you make it? What will you find? "There is something therapeutic about tending to your ship and then just moving along slowly through the day. ... Not a lot of games are brave enough to tell a story this way, and to me, that’s exactly why FAR: Lone Sails is a gem." 5 / 5 - Platinum Rating Catherine Ng Dellosa, pocketgamer.com TouchArcade Game of the Week "There are some games that aren’t really about testing your reflexes, or your high scoring prowess, or any of the many other video game-related skills, but are more about offering up an experience. And boy is FAR: Lone Sails ever an experience. ..." Jared Nelson, toucharcade.com "A short, intimate and memorable experience … This is one game that’s a must-play for just about anyone." appunwrapper.com

I’ve played this game on the Switch before and when I impulsively looked for it on the App Store I bought it immediately. I will always love this game, it’s beautiful, the scores are great and know just when to swell and die down to really set the mood. I hope the devs put Changing Tides on the App Store too!

The dpad button and jump are very hard to reach. Borderline unplayable.

After seeing many gameplays throughout my childhood i am comfortable with concluding that i had finally got to experience the joy this game brought me

Absolutely amazing I love it
- Happy34455 · v1.32
Was looking for a game that included some not too complicated puzzles and an immersive gameplay and this fit the bill. Enough of a challenge that some things took me a while to figure out but not so much that I looked up how to do something. The game is beautiful and simple. No instructions you just figure things out. Loved it!

As a cartoonist I do not have a lot of time to play games. I leave one spot open on my main menu for one game. This has that spot. So why is it so great: 1. Supports offline play 2. Atmosphere: without saying or explaining a thing you are just there 3.Imagination: Images are present that bring to mind so many possibilities. It is like a good book. Creating “what ifs” in your mind. 4. Simple: Again for the time strained this a fun journey that uses basic mechanics, yet somehow feels so open. If there is a sequel, I want a plant for my room. It would be cool to pick up trophies to decorate your bedroom with. Last note: I would love to feature your game in a couple of comic strips. I have never offered this as I am trying to stay a way from “pop” culture but this feels timeless. Update: found my plant. Spoiler there is one in the game already. Just had to look Update No.2: I have finished the game. I have never been so eager at the end of a game for a sequel or additional content. I love the world they have created. I would be happy playing again just getting to chose color. Your guide color is red..maybe offer a green or blue. Ultimately , in the end this is my current favorite game and the only mobile game I have ever played to finish. Great Job! Far: Changing Tides, would love to see this on iOS.

Everything about this game is truly beautiful

Fun game. Love the steam punk feel!
- Jonathan L.C. · v1.32
It’s a neat and intriguing game. There are long spans of doing nothing but riding the vehicle forward, and the intermittent points of interest are a mere 2 minutes of maybe one action needed to advance. The controls are bad, no floating or customizable buttons, no joystick, etc. The controls are jammed completely into the corners, such that your hands will ache trying to hold the phone and hit the buttons. No ability to adjust the screen safe zone, a portion of the screen is cutoff by the notch/Dynamic Island.

I used this game in place of going on social media apps. It was really clever, from the ship functions to the changing environments, and the tornado! Some of the puzzles or challenge points made me have to think a little bit. I wish they were a little bit more challenging, or more points of danger, but the game was very artful and I really enjoyed playing it.

This is a journey. There are no prizes. There is struggle, there is victory. There is joy Surprises Setbacks Overcoming This game reminded me of life I loved it Right to the last sound…. Of hope

Beutiful game played it 2 days love the puzzles to solve on how to get your tank or travel machine. But pretty much same old scenario. Got to a big shop went thru a volcano then broke my ship in 2 end of the game. Cons no help to guide you Figure it out There’s no goal other than travel An when the ship broke in 2 nothing else can be done. I’ll sum it up in one word MEHHHHHHH
- latincam · v1.32
Soundtrack is as beautiful as the gameplay.
- NachoCheeseIsMine · v1.32
Played it though in one sitting. It’s engrossing, and easy to lose track of time with this one. Really appreciate your detailed work on this one guys!
- Ragtagjesse3 · v1.32
The concept is fantastic and the scenery is beautifully rendered. My primary reason for the low rating is that I spend probably 80% of my time fighting with the movement controls. Also the nighttime and inside environments are so unnecessarily dark that, coupled with the aforementioned control problems, the fun factor wears thin very quickly. They’ve created a stunning world environment here. I hope they address these issues so that people can enjoy it more fully instead of cussing the app.
- 1;55%#'Gyoom · v1.32
It’s super immersive and tranquil, with moments of excitement. It’s honestly a work of art and a breath of fresh air for mobile gaming. Bravo!
- Barrymjones · v1.32
Good game but desperately needs a section explaining how to play it. At first I didn’t understand the point of the game but later figured out it’s a puzzle game.
- RKM-Oxford · v1.32
My device is an IPhone se, and the system version is iOS15.7.4. When clicking left and right on the game interface, the response is very slow. It takes about 2 seconds for the character to move. I hope to update and fix it

Solid gameplay, beautiful music and detailed environments. Captivated me from start to finish, I would absolutely love to see more of it.
- hetirpho · v1.32
i love this game but it was very short, mabye you could maks a second one where you are on a boat or smth. just an idea.

The game works very well on my Ipad. Beautiful! I hope the author comes out with a sequel. No Zombies Woo Hoo!
- Askmrhp · v1.32
A very enjoyable game. Recommended. The only problem I had was the zooming issue, previously noted. A minor irritation to an otherwise excellent game.
- NanoRon · v1.32
Do not regret. The game really draws you in with the spooky atmosphere. Only complaint is the nights are a bit too dark and I accidentally threw my lantern in the incinerator. I’ll manage though.
- NipNipNope · v1.32
The worst thing about this game is it left me wanting more
- Mr_Brady · v1.32

I loved this game! I was looking for a game similar to Limbo, Dead Inside, luckily I landed on this game. Absolutely wonderful. Please make a part 2!
- MODERNCHARIOTZ · v1.32
I love the game I played through the entire thing, I hope to see more like this from the developers. The only thing I can say the game was missing is maybe just a setting to change the control size because they are very small and too create an endless game mode where the player has to do their best to not wreck their ship and see how far they can get before it does. That way players could continue playing the game, I see no real reason to attempt the game again now that I’ve beaten it :(
- JackTheBongRipper · v1.32
This was a great game. No instructions, just jumping right in and figuring things out. Fun and complex problems to solve but nothing that makes you throw it down out of frustration.
- Disch · v1.32
I enjoyed this game so much I was sad to see it end. No instruction, hints or cheats but it allows you to load a previous auto save as you figure it out. Once I started the game it was hard to put it down.
- mcaudle11111- · v1.32
Great way to pass some time. This game will take your heart rate down a notch, which is a nice change. I’ve had this game on PC and iPad for a long time. Not sure why I waited to play it. It was worth the wait.
- B3L13V3R · v1.32
This is a beautiful game, proving that no; we don’t need trillions of players competing to enjoy something. The environment is one of a kind, and a Journey reminiscent of Journey(by ThatGameCompany) One of my favorites so far!
- DDK453 · v1.32

This one of the best games that I played in a while it feels nice the sound track is amazing then how you move though out the game is great
- Chavez Albert · v1.32
Such a gorgeous game! It’s one of those games that you feel heartsick knowing it will end. I hope there will be a part two!
- Feline Muse · v1.32
I loved this game. Beautiful, relaxing. Absolutely love it and I cannot wait for the new game coming out soon. My only criticism is for the iPhone the controls were right at the edge of the screen. This made it awkward to hold and after 10 min my hands would hurt a lot. Worked great on my iPad.
- rf15e · v1.32
A fun time and beautiful graphics, but on my iPad Pro sometimes zooming back in to ship doesn’t cut away the exterior to let me see the cutaway inside. So, I have to blindly find my way outside, then back inside to ‘refresh’ the cut away view inside. Since I’m sometimes scrambling to feed the fuel, put out a fire or repairing electrical issues, it spoils the session and I have to restart. This happens so often I’ve given up playing.
- Mōsh · v1.32
It’s an amazing story of this poor soul who goes and travels through peril and pain, and they try to save their world like hundreds of others tried, but failed, this little soul, all alone, his home destroyed. I wanna cry so bad.
- GodsOfTitan · v1.32
Love this game. The only thing I can say is that I wish there was more games like this one. Check the App Store and couldn’t fine anything close to it.
- Papa Gry · v1.32
Truly a work of art and the soundtrack is nothing short of a masterpiece. You can actually listen to the soundtrack on Spotify and I highly recommend. Joel Schoch really put a great score together.
- deezy555 · v1.32
I rarely review games, but this game deserves some praise. The art is beautiful, the game is relaxing, the puzzles not overly difficult ( I did get stuck a few times). Al in all, very enjoyable. Running the ship and getting it through the tough spots was very satisfying. Highly recommend that you give the game a shot.
- davidjufo · v1.32
controls on the keyboard are horrible. Takes what could be a decent game and makes it incredibly frustrating.
- Ralf555555555 · v1.32
I have never played a mobile game from start to finish until FAR: Lone Sails. This game made me feel like a 10 year old in front of my SNES playing Chrono Trigger, or some other Square adventure of equal awesomeness. The wasteland mood, post-apoc jazz music, the clunky gears, steam-enginery, and the fairly casual gameplay is pretty much perfect, and this is coming from someone who specializes in future/cyberpunk/wasteland ambient music and videos. It’s superb. Even felt some strong emotional undercurrents with the intentionally vague but symbolic storyline. Guys, you really have to try this game. It’s pure magic. I can’t wait to see what comes out of their workshop next. 5 stars. No question about it.
- RKD Studios · v1.32
Enjoyed it throughly
- Crap duster · v1.32
The graphics, the style, the aesthetic, it’s everything I was looking for. I am sad that it ended so soon, but I would 100% recommended this game! It works your mind, is very interactive, and overall very enjoyable. 10/10!!🥰🖤
