Not Like the Other Kingdom Games

I love the game, but it's much more narrative and story-based than the other Kingdom games. Wish there was more of a broadness to it though.

The Kingdom series are in my top 10 favorite games :D (I do prefer kingdom 2 crowns) This one reminds me of my childhood and Stranger things. Had an issue with my previous phone and the game wouldn't load properly. Works flawlessly with my new one.

no restart level Button, I am stuck with one last homie in a blood moon and I can't die. it's an endless loop. 3 levels and no depth other games like this are better e.g. two crowns as it had level depth and islands that created bonuses for future runs, this is a linear story line "experience"

i liked the way kingdom two crowns was made but i bought this thinking it would be a different game... it seems like the same as kingdom two crowns but with a different look. therefore i found it disappointing and refunded

the rating is low, cause players got expectations after kingdom 2 crowns. It's a different concept, same gameplay. it's harder due the unstable income source, your towers can break, crazy siege and artillery enemies, etc. But u just gotta play the game and manage. it's a shorter campaign and there's no updates till now, that's kinda minus. but this is actually a good game and u can modify your towers which is great! it's easier to get a stronger base early game compared to 2 crowns.

Edit: I bought the game again after getting a refund earlier as the game did not work offline back then. I am Happy to report that The game now works completely fine in offline mode and i can play it anywhere i want. Thank you to Raw fury support and devs for letting me know about the fix so that i could buy it again. Thank you!

Ugh why

Why do people hype these games, they’re so bad at the actual gameplay. Tutorial doesn’t explain the mechanics other than go here, slide finger down….ok WHY am I adding coins here? Then the mobs just show up randomly without explanation, during day, night whatever whenever without any instructions on defense. Then upgrades are so frustrating, add 5 coins to bike, oh wait now ADD 2 MORE… what does this bike even do? Oh guess what, now that you bought this bike you don’t have enough to defend yourself, oh not frustrating enough? Let me spawn enemies on BOTH sides of you and not explain how to get out of that situation. Oh also let’s teach the player that the crown is their hp but we won’t actually say that anywhere…. +1 extra star for the cool animations but - stars for all the reasons above. Redo your dang tutorial, this is the 3rd of your games I have but they all are play-once-uninstall-forever worthy.

A Love Letter to 80s pop Culture Enthusiasts!

This is by far my favorite app game I’ve ever played. I typically don’t buy games for my phone because they aren’t good or lose their appeal quickly. I find myself playing this game over and over and over again. If you like the other Kingdoms game, and are also a child (or fan) of the 80s, this game is a no brainer. Buy it now. AND go buy the soundtrack. It’s calm 80s background music with no vocals that I listen to often. Truly grateful for this game and wish they would release a sequel, dlc, or maybe even a 90s version. I could see that being a blast too!

Obsessed w/ design

The design of the soundtrack, the pixel graphics, the dramatic cutscenes. It feels like the writers and designers had fun. And I can feel it with each replay I do. Now, I just play it religously when I’m bored on cursed mode. It’s meditative at this point. Not exaggerating.

Игра конечно прекрасна во всем, я ее прошел и на пк тоже. То есть тут баг один противный или что это, я не знаю. Игра вылетает просто на катсцене в финале игры и ничего не сохраняется. У меня конечно было так и на пк, но там было в начале игры и все потом починилось. Что тут делать мне, я не знаю, игра как бы пройдена, но и не пройдена одновременно

One of my all time favourite games. I own this and Kingdom: Two Crowns on steam as well, and have hundreds of hours across them all. The base gameplay is fun and just challenging enough to keep you on your toes, but then the challenges are so much more. The games are also basically ASMR, too, with very satisfying sounds for things like building and paying coins. I cannot recommend this enough.

I did think that playing a 2d side scroller would become boring eventually. I was wrong. been playing the kingdom series since the first one came out and this instalment is a really great addition to this most excellent series. great job.

Unfortunately the game didn't work at all, there are no graphics controls to aid the glitching, the screen just smears all the pixels into one ugly picture that you can't see past to play the game. I would absolutely love to play this game and I very much do appreciate the company who created it although I haven't been able to play this game for the life of me and I kind of thought it'd be fixed before I tried again. You can keep my money though, I'd like the game to work rather than my money

Super fun game, I loved the style. I did finish it in a few hours or so. But I was playing non stop. Quite addicting. I really liked the story and the style of weapons, Accessories you get. I really hope they do a futuristic one sometime. That would be cool!

I loved the predecessors, Unfortunately this is a case of spectacle over substance. The graphics are vibrant 80's style and the game world somehow is interesting. Not much to say about the rest, maybe it didn't get the same proper attention.The possibilities for building are significantly less than in previous parts and there is not really the survival feeling. really short and lacks the content, replay ability, Overall this is a lazy addition to the series that takes away far more than it adds.

Despise all non skippable cut scenes. I loved your other games, this is un-installed after finding an in game upgrade that spawned a cut scene i can pause but not flipping cancel and get on with playing the actual game.

Great successor to the previous games, in many ways more polished and complete. I now vastly prefer this little gem despite the fact that it has fewer upgrades and abilities. However because of the equipment you do get, it feels easier than other kingdom games. I play those on normal, here I need the highest difficulty to feel any challenge at all once I get all crew members. The ability to control your knight outriders and continuously pull back just out of reach is insanely strong.

Love this series and the game

The story was fun, but to short. The replay ability is not really there. The remix is ok and all but I need some more games play. Can you add some DLC’s to the game. I want to keep playing it but, I end up choosing to skip this game and go back to playing two crowns instead or a different game in my downloads. Let’s get some DLC’s and I’m buying it.

Sweet Baby Inc reskin

Mechanics are a downgrade from the base game and the story subtracts from the game if anything. No surprise that sweet baby inc were the “writers”

Very irritated. Bought the game and it had "rendering issues". Contacted support and was back and forth with them a few times and i guess the issue is never going to be resolved. Never heard anything further. Just downloaded again and same blurry mess as before and i bought it shortly after the release so its been a minute. Love their other games so i am very disappointed.

Not as satisfying and punnishing as kingdom 2 crowns. Why does it take so long to socket the coins into the slots?? It wasn't like that in K2C. Towers are way too strong for the old version greeds. I feel like the greeds need to be upgraded, too. Veriety is not there in comparison to other kingdom games where you have other factions to choose from. I guess this game is still in development, but still, for the current content not worth the money.

I'd like to be able to play this on my Samsung tablet, but the frame rate is overwhelming. All of the graphics and text are by blurred together and it's impossible to see anything clearly. I have a new device, but my processor can't handle this game. Disappointing, as I love the Kingdom series.

Why won't you make any of your games controller compatible? You know all Bluetooth controllers can connect to phones... not to mention the endless amount of attachments controllers. It's just a simple rebind option guys then your games will be perfect. Even two crowns is a let down when it comes to final polish.

The game isn't as good as its predecessors. You can't skip through the cutscenes. They decided the saving your game should be a huge pain as well. I finished the game but somehow even though I have the achievement it doesn't seem to be able to figure it out so I can't play what should be unlocked.

When I saw one of my favorite games slipped a new eighties version out I had to buy it. I originally got it for ps5 and couldn't put it down till I beat it. I'm such a sucker for the eighties, and this one hit home. The artwork is so beautiful and the developers took time to design new and unique details for every level. I just had to buy it again for on the go. I really hope to see more and more kingdom alternatives. And multiplayer to shut most of the others up about it ❤️ either way beautiful

If you're a kingdoms fan this is fun. However it is drastically shorter. I enjoyed all the rides you can collect (minus the skateboard I hate that thing). The cut scenes for the story are also a treat. The 16 bit feel is there. I hope they make some additional "lands" or more story. I also don't feel like this one has the replay potential that the other two Kings games have. That's why I docked a star. Request : Greed game mode. Give us a chance to be the greed. Ty devs

As soon as the game loads up it starts to do sort of a frozen frames animation glitch, I've tried it on multiple devices and it's still the same problem and I guess the developers don't care if you have any problems with it since you already paid for it. It seems as if they got their money from you already so why would they care about making you happy anymore. I wish they would please update so I can actually play what I payed for.

Very good but shorter

The Kingdom series thus far has been fun. Indie feel with a sense of urgency as you try to get ready for the Greed and conquer. Kingdom Eighties is more nostalgic than the preceding games, but at the same time felt shorter and, perhaps, lower quality. I was not a fan of the added animation (but I would not be surprised if others disagree). All in all, I recommend all three games, but I don’t know that this one represents a “maturing” of the series.

Same formula, minimal instruction and you spend your play figuring out new ways to survive longer. Campaign is simple but survival can be deeply challenging. I hope we get more expansions soon.

Great adaptation of Kingdoms

This game is so much fun to play! They did an awesome job capturing the feel of the 80s and I love how the story starts out in summer camp and branches off from there. Definitely worth the price!

big fan, but need bug fix

So i migrated from Steam to here. best game i have ever played, slam dunk the whole kingdom two crown plus all the expansion. and played the eighties on Steam. but as expected, the first version is got major bugs. played cursed level and got stuck in the first map after beating all the portal plus grabbing the canoe in the cave. no boat is brought to the dock, and got trapped in the cave after the second time entering the cave and can’t get out after the second entry. need fix
