I live this game I usednto play it on Samsung ultra 22 . now I bought Fold 8 and I was excited to play it again however, it did not work even on the main screen 😢😢 please is there anything that can help to run it on the Fold 8 !!!

Great game!!! Looks very good, the controls are good, similar to the survival horror games we know (RE, SH, etc.). The compatibility with an external controller is good and the game feels like the classic adventure horror games. Crashes on start up for years

Looks like it may be cool but I can’t open it, I’m on an iPhone 11 Pro Max newest iOS..can’t play it at all . Update: since I first wrote this review I’ve upgrade my phone to an iPhone 14 Pro Max and the game STILL crashes on start up..I’ve never been able to play it once, they need to fix it or refund me my full purchase…it’s been years!

A real horror mobile game

Silent Hill Inspired

This is such an underrated gem. Ode to old school 3rd person survival horror. Controls are smooth and graphics are outstanding. Decent soundtrack too. 5/5 stars!!! Edit. I’ve played this in and off for years but how do you get the PHILIPPE achievement?

Lost my save data!

Hey beware I lost my save data, and I made sure to manual save. I haven’t played this game in a couple of days, but when I go back to start playing it after getting through the beginning of the story; I load the game up on my phone and my data is just gone. There also isn’t an auto-save feature…I’m pretty sure apple can’t help me back out with losing my saved data.

This is a solid third person horror puzzle survival game. The fact that it's on Android makes it a real gem, I picked it up on sale and it was well worth the money. The only issues I really have with the game is that it's really too short. Needs a DLC. I also had to disable the bloom because it was very disorienting and actually made the game look worse in my opinion. The game could have benefited from more variation in enemies, but it had a solid story and keeps you on edge throughout.

Bought this on iOS when it first came out and remembered you can skip til later the first floor event(s) and head up the stairs or go straight towards the room with the shotgun before the the update that patched it to what it currently is now. This game gives off a silent hill vibe with the RE saving mechanic. Gameplay is tpp and action oriented like SH and RE with puzzle solving as you advance forward. I wish you can dl the older ver of this game.

Keeps Crashing

Love the game but where's the auto save? :(

I am giving this three stars because, although it is a really nicely made game. But once you get far in the game it doesn't let you save your progress so if you want to play later you have to have to start all over again. That get very tiring and you never can get far in the game when you do that, and that's really sad because this is such a detailed and amazing scary game that I want to play so could you please put a auto button in the game? That would make it so much more enjoyable to play.

I’m on an M1 iPad Pro 11 inch. Loved this game until developers abandoned ship. Will not load and keeps crashing to Home Screen. I’m on iOS 14.8.1. Disappointing! ***Update*** Kept crashing BUT after scouring the game’s App Store landing page I was able to find the solution. Clicking on “version history” you will find information that instructs you to delete and re-download the entire game to remedy the crashing problem. This should be placed on their front page so not just the motivated will search for it.

CREEPY

I’ve only been playing for about 3 hours, but wow this game is so good. I’m playing it on my m1 Mac mini. There’s black bars on the sides, but this game is so much fun with a controller. Haven’t played it on my iPad yet. I’m actually surprised I haven’t heard much about this game even though it’s been out for years. I wish they could make more iPad/Mac games. I bought this for $2, but willing to spend a lot more for great games like this. I really hope they make more games. They have a fan for life!

A Love Letter

This is a great survival horror game and would highly recommend this game to any fan of the genre. It has nice graphics, atmosphere and great controls. I use my PS4 controller to play this game, I tried with regular screen controls and still found it easily playable. The storyline is a love letter to old school survival horror games and definitely worth forking out for the experience. Fingers crossed for a 2nd installment.

That Announced Sequel Needs to Come Out Already

This game is a great homage to the Resident Evil and Silent Hill titles of old, but is also an all around great original story. The game also pays a lot to the creepy movies and tv shows we grew up watching, ala Twin Peaks and Jacob’s Ladder. A console port of this game was announced way back when but was then cancelled. A sequel to the game was then announced and after about 4 years, we the fans have heard nothing. C’MON gove us something already.

Hello I know you might not read this but i’ll give it a try still. The game is great i love it but there is a part in the game where you need bolt cutters to open a door it’s a part right in the beginning after you get the revolver and it’s a chained up door that you need bolt cutters and there is a bug now that it doesn’t show up (the bolt cutters) it’s supposed to be in a bathroom but it’s not there anymore if you could fix it that would be great! thank you

Dang near ps4 graphics on iPad Pro

I don’t usually write reviews for games. But this one I feel, deserves it. -It has good game pad support. -Has game pad support, period (biggest no buy for me is lack of game pad support) -very nice post processing, but I keep the bloom off because it’s too thick to see. -actually scary and not lame generic horror tropes. You can tell they made this game with their heart in it. -Good survival horror balance without it feeling unintentionally challenging. Wish more games actually made an effort like this one. Gj devs! 3 stars because the game was fun

I say ‘was’ due to the fact that the game no longer opens on my iPhone XS Max. It just quits during the first 4 loading screens and exits with no error message or indication of an issue at the screen that says this is “best played in the dark with headphones on” and then ::flash:: the game is gone and I am back at my folder of apps containing this game. Please fix it and I will update my review.

Crashes now

Buggy as all get out

I really, REALLY want to play this game but it stutters and crashes. And when I die, the screen just goes black and I have reboot the game. It’s a real shame because I love the graphics and the adventure/fight game play. As it is now, it’s completely unplayable.

New Vs Old Update

I got to hand it to the devs on updating the game and am FINALLY playing this update. I honestly preferred the prior version before the update that tweaked the game because of how I am able to explore the asylum AND am able to confront the mannequins for the first time either (SPOILER ALERT) on the first floor male’s bathroom or on the 2nd floor (I always chose the latter). But in the update you can’t go to the 2nd floor without unlocking the chain. Another thing I didn’t like was that the game became user friendly with a helpful tutorial while you play and the “yellow” highlights that appear throughout the level for unique interaction/pickup. I should mention that for some odd reason it takes a while to load after unlocking the door with Noah’s key... I had to double click 3 times the home button just to get continue into the asylum. Despite this I actually enjoyed the new update and since I could play the previous version too I can’t complain as much. Edit: it could be that I’m not playing on the highest (third from the list at the bottom) difficulty. Might check it out to see the difference.

Could be...

I only write reviews when I need to convey the importance of; This game has major flaws since the 1.6.2 update. I want to play this beautiful and incredible game but, the fact remains that in its' current state, unplayable. 1) I have run it on the iPhone XSMax, finding that the temp of the iPhone got to 119°F upon playing for 1 minute. Granted the phone has a failsafe to not fry itself from -probably- a dev not paying attention to this during the recoding of the update. 2) It stutters to the point of just unplayable. Only after going into settings & reducing the quality of play (frames per second, etc) will it stop. Only to start again, usually after I get into a "battle". 3) 80% battery used in 3.5 hours. --Wait until the Devs recognize many issues must be addressed until getting this game. No issues pre-update. I see it is getting more attention now, but I cannot play it, on a processor with A LOT of ability to crunch numbers, the stuttering and heat is purely due to sloppy code. I will update this when I can play & hold my iPhone without it burning, visual stuttering and less intensive battery pull issues. Note: I have not seen any save issues. Granted that this game was made to not be simple, no automatic saving, but you must instead find a "save progress here" as not to spoil anything. BUT I'm not seeing any loss of progress after saving. All that said, as it has so much potential, though never seemed like the bugs were ever really worked out. Will update this review. 3 stars is giving it 2 too many. Come on devs, you have the ability to make it work. What's up with the neglect and a year between updates..? Hmmm... Again, I will update when this game is playable. Peace.

Was soooo excited to see the description of the new update with all the fixes!! Before the recent two, I was able to play past the infinite black loading screen by actually just putting the app in the background and swiping it back up, but this recent patch just crashes me right back in my home screen and restarts when pulling it back up.
