In Gaia Project, each player controls one of 14 factions striving to peacefully colonize the Terra Mystica galaxy. Each faction has different environmental needs to survive on a planet. These needs have led the factions to master terraforming, enabling them to make different planet types habitable for themselves. This is the official digital version of the board game Gaia Project by Feuerland Verlag. Minimum RAM: 3 GB Recommended RAM: 4 GB Gaia Project is a graphics-heavy board game with advanced AI opponents. Your gameplay speed and AI strength may be limited with older devices. I like the game, but on my new phone poco F8 ultra, all Digidiced games i bought are not working , already 6 months have passed still not working, they load , i hear sound , but the screen is black. i tried to mail, but inbox was full, so 1 star, even though i like the game

It's a great game. AI makes bad plays. The most difficult part is that I'm color blind. There is essential information conveyed solely by color. Most notable, the planets, trying to figure out which player is on which planet, recognizing federations on map (including my own), recognizing player markers on tech tree, to name some.
- Jerry Choate · v53
Reskin of terra mystica. If you like that game, why buy this?
- MARK · v53
One of the best board games ever turned digital? With additional fun scenarios? Yes please!
- Fire Lotr · v53
Icons are not a language. Needlessly difficult to understand game just due to poor communication to the player.
- Catherine Bielick
Very good representation of the game. a few times it has crashed or frozen which means games can't be finished. Nice to have the option of the boardgame's pieces and graphic design which is so recognisable.
- Simon Clemenson · v51
Bait and switch. Not at all a strategy or conquest game as advertised.. Extremely loose terms with "turn based"

Geen eenvoudig spel, maar wel tof wanneer je het begint te leren!

Lovely app for an all time great boardgame
- Lucas Moyer-Horner · v50
Great on a phone! I love the board game and they capture this game very well for digital!
- Matt Johnson · v50
I love this game and app very much. I have had no issues with the app and have found it a very satisfying way to play the game.
- Cameron Hamill · v50
While the board game is indeed excellent, and this app does an acceptable job doing a lot of the busywork and rule interpretation right, it sure misses a lot of opportunities: the tutorial is horrid, the UI clunky, many pieces of information are missing (need to consult the rules book elsewhere), and the screen is sadly NOT optimized for mobile devices (on a tablet this may be easier to use, but on a phone most text is illegible and buttons too small).
- ian kaplow · v50
I love this game!! I'm always looking for complexity and an overall feel of 4x games on mobile and whether it's possible to mirror a pc experience? Well, it's possible, and well done for bringing this to mobile devices
- Brian Kinlan · v50
great game
- William McAbee · v50
Was good until campaign bugged. Recently completed a scenario on 4 star but did not save the score, have screenshot it as I experienced save problems with scenarios previously.
- Henry Yu · v50
excellent implementation. have only played against the AIs so can't comment on network play. they are tough to beat!
- David Wagner · v49
Beautiful interface and art. Much better playthrough than on BGA. I wish the price were lower so I could get more friends on the platform.
- Zachariah Vercruyssen · v49
Does a very good job condensing a very dense, info-heavy euro board game into digestible phone format. If you aren't already familiar with the physical version of this game, you will have a tough time understanding what's happening. The tutorial is good for teaching the UI, but this is an interface with countless very small buttons to press, lots of fleeting UI elements communicating the moving of physical components around the game board, and intricate game states. This one is for the perverts
- Charles Simon · v48
ui is not great for mobile but the game is pretty complex so maybe unavoidable
- William Billington · v48
Great implementation! Only thing is I would have loved if it were more colorblind friendly. For example in end game score, it is hard to tell which color is in what place. Same thing when trying to see how many planet types each faction has, three dots are too small and too similar, and it is hard to tell what the color of a given planet used to be before it was terraformed.
- Hanan Amar · v48
decent, but asking me for notifications everytime is not acceptable.
- Dave Doffing
The game is great. Crunchy, mind grinder euro, if you liked the tabletop version, then I think you're going to love this.
- Andrea Varnier · v48
I have been asked 3 times to turn on notifications. I DO NOT WANT NOTIFICATIONS. It is ridiculous that programmers can't accept that. I signed up for ranked games and apparently there aren't any players. The AI is decent, but not exceptional. In the 2 games I played I was against terrans each time and they never upgraded to their Planetary Institute in either game, basically the widely accepted best opening for Terrans. The AI seem to choose random options too often over good options.
- Dave Doffing · v48
Gaia prject, without balance changes but still good.
- Jesper Melander · v48
Great port, it'll get 5 when the expansion comes to digital
- TheBassmanChris · v48
Great adaption! Expansion please!
- Rattenus Rattoonus · v48
I initially disliked and 1 starred this game but my friends convinced me to give it another chance and on the second pass I found I enjoyed it much more. It's not as lavish and pretty as Terra Mystica but it is in depth and intriguing. If you have played Terra Mystica I recommend just playing the game and reading the opening tips vs. playing the tutorial as that does actually complicate it. Make sure you understand it before buying and play Terra Mystica first if you can.

Best board game ever! And great app for solo and multiplayer
- Stelios Kalogridis · v45
This is great! I love the scenarios.
- Derek Thompson · v45
So much easier than setting up the physical game
- Darren Matthews · v45
Excellent companion to the board game, try out strategies against AI opponents, ideal way to learn the game, four stars as it does CTD on the odd occasion, usually when I'm winning. If it had a custom game setup, board, tiles, opponent etc to play against an AI it would be perfect, if they can also add the Lost Fleet I'll be a very happy camper 🙃🖖👍

Love it!

Great implementation of a great game
- Steven Lindgren · v45
So good.. love Gaia Project and this is exactly what I was hoping for.

No auto save game
- Nattapon Panintraruk · v45
Bought the app having never played the board game. After doing all the tutorials and several play throughs I still don't understand vast chunks of it. As a seasoned gamer , I think the app lacks sufficient detail for new players to competently learn the game.
- Darren Austin · v45
Great game. Wish it could provide explanations to the final scoring tiles.
- Jeffery Chang · v44
At moment, experience is awful. A third of screen is empty waste (same as C o Brgndy). The species boards cant be zoomed and nowhere can i see the planets i can terraform and costs. I purchased this to learn how to play but havent completed a game thanks to frustratingand needlessly tiny UI. Lovely presentation otherwise.

Good

best app and game ever
- Chris · v30
SO difficult to learn, but it's well worth it.
- Mike Smith · v44
This is really designed for people who already know the game. The tutorials are not a serious attempt to teach the game
- Helen and Andrew Page · v44
Great game, well implemented
- mndmnky · v44
Great implementation of a great game
- Ivan Ištuk · v44
Excellent Game and Implementation. The tutorial is great; I managed to learn the game entirely in-app. My only quibble relates to online gaming notifications. You commonly need to quit and reload the app to see if it's your turn in an online match. Everything else works great for me.
- Chris Grass · v44
The app is designed pretty well, but I can't finished ranked games! The game's notifications are managed poorly. Too many phones are aggressive with battery saving, I think, and people miss turn notifications and time out. It's too bad. Update: no notifications after a few days - I check in on my two ranked games, and both are missing.
- Ben Gifford · v44
Excellent adaptation
- Adam Zsinko · v44
Perfect adaptation
- Andrzej Kubera (Sz4r1ej) · v44
Exactly as expected from the board game
