I would have given this 5 stars, but the glitches are becoming more frequent the higher the level I get. The game will close completely, or tell me it "timed out" during a challenge, making me start over again. Another frustration is how hard some of the missions are to complete. It's become so annoying having to do the same mission over and over again, I just end up leaving the game. If those could be fixed, I'd give the game 5 starts for sure.

This game is NOT multiplayer. All the "players" you see are bots. It takes the fun out of everything when you realize that you just need to use the highest scoring clothing to win anything, and it doesn't matter whether the outfit looks good. The game has a nice collection and visuals but what's the point if we cannot use them freely. After a point you cannot pass a level without using the same items again and again which is so boring. All the new levels cannot be passed without spending all the gold coins and upgrading a single item costs a lot. A wonderful creative game. Sweet characters and endless, fun clothing designs. The challenges are "just right" & accessible for non-paying players. Great, But Weird Theme Requirements and AI

I really enjoy this game, it’s fun to style, and the collaboration Runways are a lot of fun— however, there are a lot of weird requirements that lead me to some legitimate recommendations I genuinely hope you consider: 1. Let us wear coats and bags on Style Roulette—it really doesn’t make sense to forbid those. 2. Change the requirements on a lot of those Themes—why would Business and Bling ever mean “Sportswear”? Why would “Tan Lines and Trends” ever mean “White, Romantic”? That SCREAMS “Wedding”, and that’s what everyone but me did (I won). 3. I think it would be fun to gain access (by having to save up) to much higher rarity clothing items—like stuff with wings or hair accessories, and I think it would be cool to get more clothing categories, like hosiery, gloves, etc. 4. Stop using AI “Artwork”. There are a lot of people who would love to create poster art, and I know you make money with this game and would be 100% capable of paying them for it. The current Poster has candles phasing out of a mirror—it just doesn’t look good. 5. This one isn’t too big a concern, but I notice things clipping through other things—like clothes through limbs/hair (and vice versa).

Impossible to complete anything

Absolutely loved this game until the latest update where every other level pretty much is having you spend so much money and coins to level up items just to beat levels. Before, there were enough easier levels where you could complete missions. Getting stuck way too often and do not have the patience to save up well over 100,000 coins to level up an item just to get 1 star on a mission to be able to continue the game. The developers are greedy. I have never seen any other game ask for 20 dollars just to barely help you in the game. Especially not one that is made with AI. If this isn’t fixed I will be deleting this game. It is no longer fun to play anymore, it feels like a chore.

Desperately Needs An Update

I enjoy the game, it is very fun and the images are high quality. However, this game desperately needs an update. For the last few days almost all of my “Battles” with other players have frozen and timed out. What happens as a result is the screens freeze, and other players aren’t scored properly because other people get frustrated and leave. If that’s not annoying enough, you don’t receive any of your earned credits back when that happens. I cannot recommend this game or any of the in-app purchases until that is fixed. They’re making too much money to have a broken down app game. Also, there are issues with their in-app purchases going through. I have purchased items that appeared to be successful transactions, only to find out they weren’t. So I was being charged for items I wasn’t receiving and I had to spend hours on the phone with Apple to correct it. I’m not sure if this is because of the update they need.

Honest Review

First off I do love this game, don’t get me wrong it’s addicting, that being said it’s also becoming a financial burden. You try and save your currency for the amazing stuff you do want, only to have to spend it on an item you don’t want because a quest requires it. Also it costs a fortune to level up items so you end up losing quests and battles because of low scoring items, then it’s back to watching a tone of ads trying to play catchup or spending actual money, I think it cost me $20 just to level up a dress to 5 or 6, ridiculous . Good when it works

This game started to freeze a lot. The collab sessions hardly work. I’ll use energy to join, half the time the game doesn’t load or it delays. My negative review gets deleted

My negative review keeps getting delivered or disappears. The game is no longer enjoyable to play because you have to spend real money to be able to pass missions. You need those missions in order to participate in events. The only other way to get items for events is to watch ads repeatedly and even then you do not get enough items to actually complete the event. I’m giving this a four star review so that my review may actually stay. However, it only deserves a one star. I should add that I have been playing this game for several months and have actually spent quite a bit of money.

💖 One of the Best Fashion Games I’ve Played

I’ve really enjoyed playing Glow Fashion Idol. The game is fun, creative, and addictive, and it’s clear that a lot of work went into the designs, story, and gameplay. I’ve spent many hours playing and continue to enjoy progressing through the missions. That said, I think there are a few areas that could be improved. One of the biggest frustrations is finding outfits and collections. If I click on a clothing item, it would be incredibly helpful if there were an easier way to view the entire collection that item belongs to. Right now it can be difficult and time-consuming to locate matching pieces. I would also love to see more interactions with the clients and more story content. Side stories would make the game even more engaging, especially involving Ethan and the main character. It feels like their relationship and interactions reset frequently, and it would be nice to see more character development and continuity. Overall, Glow Fashion Idol is a fantastic game and one of the most enjoyable fashion games I’ve played. The developers have done an amazing job, and with a few quality-of-life improvements and additional story content, it could be even better.

I LOVE this game. I have spent an embarrassing amount of hours on it. I love that it’s “free player” friendly. It allows me to earn through ads, it has a dozen optional mini-games, and the daily challenges. You can purchase design packages, but it’s only required for a select few of the daily contests—overall completely optional to pay-to-play. Which is great, unless you have responsibilities throughout the day (I have lost many days in the two years I’ve played). I’d like to also mention that the game has expanded a ton since I first signed up! The furniture mini-game upgrade was a literal game-changer, as if I didn’t obsess over glow enough. Now, you can also change the color of select clothing items by upgrading your outfits, and it’s a dream come true. The only things I would change: 1. You can’t change your avatar after sign up, and there aren’t many model options to choose from to begin with. 2. You can’t use a purse for daily contests, only client tasks. Big bummer. (PLEASE CHANGE THIS, I BEG) 3. You can’t wear a coat with a dress ever. I wish that at least certain coats were allowed to pair with dresses. 4. I wish you could earn 100 diamonds instead of 50 with ads, but I’m just greedy. Otherwise, wouldn’t change a thing. 10/10 recommend this game.

Wow!

This game is so fun! There is always something new to keep you interested! I love the options and the clothes! Dressing up the models and being able to chose their hair style, color of their skin and even their eyes is just amazing! The outfits are amazing too! Be prepared to watch a ton of adds though because there is a lot of you want to double your points or do something before you are supposed too but I still enjoy the options. The contests are my favorite part! The runway shows are amazing but can get a bit caddy with people not voting just to up their chance to win then it makes it to where you don’t get the reward. But that only happens 2 out of 10 times lol. Love the game and spend way to much time on it hahaha’ I got in trouble from my husband for spending real cash but you truly do not have to. It’s just fun to be able to buy the new cute outfits. I do have a suggesting about that, the prices for real cash is way to high! 15 dollars for a dress for a game is madness! More Studio Design

I love the game and think it’s easy to play without spending money. There’s a good balance of styling for points and styling for aesthetic. It took me a second to get the hang of what was what. Expensive and Needs a Bit of Tweaking

I do love this game but it does need some updates. The coats hang so ugly and loosely on the characters, they should be more form fitting. Also there should be a scarf option! Scarves would be so cute to complement some of the outfits. Also, I do love the Style Roulette for collecting coins but there must be a better way for gaining coins! Everything is expensive to upgrade clothing, so much so, it makes it incredibly difficult to progress in missions. Things to be bought with real money are ridiculously expensive as well, there should be a way to purchase them with coins or diamonds or at least lower the prices. $12 for 1 hair style and 1 outfit? Ridiculous.

Glitches a lot

I love this game but it glitches a lot. When I take advantage of the feature to double my earnings from a mission or earn extras by watching a video, most of the time the video plays then nothing happens. Fun with Many Beautiful Styles

I have been playing the game for about 2 weeks now. It’s been really fun! I like the option of just watching adds to earn gems and coins instead of paying. I did pay a small amount and will do so once in a while. The designs are beautiful with a wide variety! Two things I dislike: the interior design side game is unnecessary and distracting. The contest winners may not fit with them theme. Many times the winners simply wear the highest-point items, very likely paid. I wish the game would give higher points for outfits that most closely match the theme instead.

Love but thinking of un downloading

I’ve spent so much time trying to look for the perfect fashion game and I happen to stumble upon this app! And it was perfect when I found it a little more than a year ago! There’s so much to do and many ways to get new fashionable items! After not playing it for a while and recently rediscovering it this year I noticed there was more added and made it much more enjoyable. And I would have rated it 5 stars except something I immediately noticed was the generative ai being used. One thing I loved about Glow was how true the ads were to the game! It felt like I wasn’t being scammed. But now that I see the Ai on the cover, loading screen and in the promotional videos it’s a big turn off :(. I’m someone who adores the graphics and little details that have been put through the game and seeing the Ai is so disappointing. I would rather find another fashion game than keep on supporting and spending money on Glow because of it. I hope that it can go back to the days before the Ai was introduced because it was absolutely perfect. I’ll be on the hunt for a new game because I appreciate the hard work that goes into it.

Enjoy this game

We don’t get nearly enough rewards to play both Glow Fashion and the Studio contests. It would be great to receive rewards to enjoy both, rather than sacrifice one or the other. Addicting but....

The game is very addicting it is fun, very little ads. Problem is that once you get to a certain level the game literally has it to where you will need to spend money to continue playing. Why have the prices of gems, or coins so high if none of the missions offer remotely close to it. I deleted the app entirely once it did that. The prices for the gems to how much 1 items costs and how much you need doesn't even compare. It's a waist of money. Competitions, battles don't even give enough gems either.

Steals diamonds from players!

This game stole all my diamonds! This game is a scam. I reached out to support and received no response. I played for two days to accrue over 7,000 diamonds and on Mother’s Day, I opened the app and it began purchasing FULL COLLECTIONS without me clicking anything!! Once I realized what was happening, I took a screenshot and closed the app. I am so annoyed. Not one of the developers or anyone from support has responded to my email. The first time I played this game, I was somewhat disappointed. It’s not the same as the ads in some ways. For example, in the ads, you can customize your body shape in a detailed way, but in the actual gameplay, you choose from 2 body types. On top of that, they have a lack of model types. Another thing is when you customize how you look, you can choose your hair color. I don’t like how you can change your hair color, but your eyebrows will stay dark/ the same shade. I think it has a lot of potential, but it’s just not it.

BAIT AND SWITCH, and GLITCH!

I LOVED this game when I first got it, now it’s become insanely frustrating after the latest May update. These developers built a loyal fanbase and then ripped the rug out from underneath us. It used to be fun and challenging to pass certain missions… now it is IMPOSSIBLE to even get ONE star on the missions and you’re stuck unless you want to dump endless money into the game! It is especially infuriating because many of us have already invested in the game and now what we’ve done is pretty much useless becaus of this new scoring they’ve introduced. It’s also IMPOSSIBLE to win 4x4 and often 1x1 against even literal bots whom are wearing low point items, and your character has high end or upgraded items. You want to play the runway challenges? Good luck! Half of the time, it glitches out on you and you have to close the game out in order to get it to stop freezing…then it happens to you again (my app and my iPhone are both up to date) Let me reiterate: this was not an issue until Crazy Labs did a big update on the game and pretty much slapped all of their loyal players in the face because it’s all a money grab. And don’t bother reaching out to support - they either ignore you, or send some auto reply that makes no sense and they offer no actual help. If you look on the Glow: Fashion Idol subreddit AND at these reviews (not the recent fake ones made by bot accounts giving it a 5 star) you will see that I’m by far not the only one saying this, and many people have done or are going to do what I’m about to do - cut my losses and delete the game. Thanks, Crazy Labs… this was the one game I had to relax with from the stress of my work and home life and you ruined it for money. Cool.

Fix top stylist

I play this game daily and love it for the most part. However top stylist has become impossible to win. I use items that are maxed and still can’t win because the bots are getting extremely high bonus points and it’s definitely rigged. What’s the point of playing this if you can never win. The VS game is also hard to win at times but it does let you at least win sometimes. I’m really disappointed about the change to top stylist though. Also it would be great if there were opportunities to get expired items under mix & match and fashion week categories. Lastly what is the point of red gems. I have thousands but nothing to use them with.

Love the diversity and levels to this game!!

I genuinely love this game and with me being a model myself it’s nice to be able to piece different outfits together, makeup looks and express my style through the game! I love the different things you can do within the game that keeps it fun! My favorite is the fashion show the girls do to reach our goals as a group and seeing the different styles of everyone! Nearly impossible to pass missions

Once you get to a certain level in the game, the missions become impossible to pass due to the scores being WAY to high for you to reach without spending money on the game. Very frustrating.

Version 1.0.3 is terrible

This game was a lot fun, then this update comes out and all of my client missions now require a score of 3k more with 3 requirements on items I don’t have leveled up. Forcing me to spend 15-20k coins to get past them. The entire point of these was to earn items for weekly games, to play in VS or the runways. Now I need to spend money or watch 20 ads to even play anything. How am I supposed to earn? Or is the point that I’m not opening my wallet enough? Update: Support was not helpful. I’m stuck on a mission that requires 30k coins and their response is: “Some missions are harder than others”. Reward? 1400 coins. Very balanced.

Lost all progress!

I am around level 400 and for no reason at all, I’ve lost all progress!! I spend a lot of money on this game and have built so much in my wardrobe and all. I haven’t switched phones or anything! Just went to play and found it wanted me to start all over again! I turned off my phone and deleted the app but still, nothing. I’ve also emailed them but they are no help! Thanks for nothing!! 😢😢😢

Fixing your app!!!

First of all, your guys’ algorithm for the Battles x2… you guys are always matching me with people who spend hundreds of dollars of government money on items in a store and I’ve only purchased one thing that was worth six dollars and it was for extra rewards on the other side of an XP bonus type of challenge… Why am I being tested against other people who are spending hundreds of dollars on hair and clothing and shoes and makeup when I don’t do the same? Another thing… You guys should be penalizing those hater females who are in the ‘all theme,’ and not voting… Some of them don’t vote on purpose to be spiteful of not getting the full reward for everybody. And it’s only in the morning time that this stuff happens. For the all theme. It’s like a bunch of haters get on and dont vote on purpose.

The newest update

When I first downloaded this game it was fun and creative and really enjoyable HOWEVER as you level up the games gets too hard and it doesn’t give you enough money to upgrade your items. It’s a cash grab game which I don’t mind spending a few bucks here and there but it’s so difficult to save up money to upgrade my items so I feel forced to spend my hard earned $$$ The newest update really ruined the game for me. There are contest you can do daily called Topstylist but you are playing against bots and they all have the highest rating outfits ALREADY. The thing that saves us players is the outfits bonuses. And now the bots have them so I can’t win even on level 1. Very frustrating.

I love the game. Great little time waster and nostalgic (reminds me of when I played dress up games when I was younger) Only wish is that I could wear all my clothes during certain event…like purses and jackets but I love it regardless

Fun and addicting!

I rarely write reviews. But I have some feedback. First, this game is actually super fun. You can get lots of items without ever having to spend a real penny by watching ads for extra gems and coins. The event collections seem to keep getting better, and there is plenty of variety in the game that keeps it fresh. I do have a few suggestions: 1. Instead of having the characters get mad with not winning the battles, can you make them cheer for the opponent? I think it would send a better message. 2. Please find a way to have the collections available after the events! 3. Bring back the fun hair colors! 4. Would love to see more styling options- multiple rings, hats/caps, stockings, belts, and for the love of all things pure and true make coats that can be worn with dresses! Really actually love this game and lowkey hate that I spend so much time on it 😂

I’ve been playing this game so much the last few months and I always do the double the points and watch the ad. And I got an ad saying I had an apple virus. I’ve seen ads like that other places but never on this game. I just restarted the game without clicking it. But It made me a bit uneasy. I really enjoy it. Terrible Support - fun game.

The game has a bad glitch for iPhone users. Like a lot of games you will need to watch ads to earns coins/gems/tokens to progress or spend real cash. Unfortunately if the ads won’t play you are stuck at a real slow frustrating pace, constantly reloading the app to continue because attempting to watch an ad locks the app up. I lodged a support ticket May 6th after dealing with the issue for a while and waiting for app update. It’s May 16th and aside from bot like responses asking for the same issue information in different ways and suggesting resolutions l have already told them l have tried, the issue still exists. The game graphics are really nice and when it works it’s very enjoyable. I did really enjoy playing until this issue and l can’t help feeling like this has been a frustration by design to force purchases. It would get 5 stars if only l could enjoy playing it!

I’ve only been playing for several months, however I got hooked immediately!! The collections are absolutely beautiful. Everything about the game was fun. Now it seems to be just a money grab. Glow Fashion Idol

I wish you would open more of the special contest collections again so we have something to spend all our red gems on, or make it so we can convert those gems into the valuable blue gems since some players might have missed the previous special contest collections! I love this game but have no idea why we need to collect the red gems even if there is nothing to buy with them. I also wish you would wait just a little bit on events perhaps all the red gems could go towards events even, like if some of us miss an item on an event we could buy set item with the red gems! Also why can only the clients get to use bags and not us when we dress up? I do wish there were more makeup options as well? Also you need more free hair colors maybe during events it would be nice. Throw colors like blue and red in the mix of events too.
