Great Little War Game

End turn button is hidden by the Android menu. Game developers messed up you can't play this game. Great shame as it looks fun. I look forward to a fix.

Doesn't work. I can't click the end turn button as the switch app/screen android button on my phone covers it and the game won't full screen over it. Looks like a fun game but I had to refund it since I genuinely can't play it. Google pixel 6

Reinstalled this because I really enjoyed it back in the day. It's still a great game, but marred by the bases not changing colour when captured. Makes it too challenging to keep track of when you don't know what's uncaptured, red, or blue. Had to uninstall.

I enjoyed this game very much, enough to play it through more than once. 2026 Edit: There is no ability to end turn anymore. Uninstall and reinstall does not correct the issue. This game is now unplayable.

Broken Game, used to be 5 stars, now you can't complete missions as you can't capture buildings. No response from developer reguarding a fix. Real shame as loved this game.

Update: many more bugs than there used to be. Odd that it took such a step backward! The name is spot on. I do wish you could make selections and carry out actions faster (have to wait for each animation and movement to complete before you can start the next). Overall Great replay value.

It's a really cool game with nice animations, but the stats are messed up, it doesn't show when a player has moved already or not, it also doesn't indicate whether structures have been captured. So for these reasons I would say avoid this one. Sad face.

Update: game has a bug where you can't tell if you captured something. Please fix. Fun game. Pretty easy to learn. Well balanced. Option for lower graphics for older devices.

This game doesn't shift captured building colors to blue when you capture them anymore. It makes it very difficult to tell what has and has not been captured. I will update to 5 stars if fixed. Loved playing this game before this started happening.

A fun classic, but there's an issue with capturing buildings. It SEEMS to work, but you can't actually see it occurring. You can capture oil rigs, but they don't change to your color, yet you gain income from them.

Revisiting this game - still fun, and enough time has passed that I've forgotten the strategies. But it's a lot buggier than I remember: most annoying is that it crashes every few turns (losing all progress in that turn). It also cheats occasionally, allowing multiple enemy units to occupy one space, and allows enemies to board ferries from non-beach spaces. Would be more challenging if the AI had more, varied strategies at its disposal. Dropping 1 star for bugs.

The enemy can shoot after moving but the player can only move or shoot giving the AI a massive advantage, only played one level but can't be bothered with such unbalanced gameplay.

I like the gameplay and the turn based combat in this game and it is very fun to play and I finished the whole campaign because of how very easy to learn the game, and I also like the art and childish characters it really gets me that this was an impressive and intriguing game.

I had good memories of this game before (on the Nintendo Wii I think) so tried it again now. The game had some bugs though. when buildings are captured, they don't change color so it's hard to see who owns it. also, ui scaling should be implemented so that the game ui isn't too small in higher resolution screens. still giving 3/5 though since it was nice before

As other reviewers have said, there's minor bugs now; however, the gameplay still holds up really well and the campaign is varied and engaging. I first played this in 2010 and it's still great! Devs, if you ever have chance, fixing the bases not changing colour issue would be great. Otherwise it occasionally crashes but that's ok since it loads so quickly on modern devices.

Doesn't work on zfold 4, button mapping is way off, no idea how to end turns as there no buttons to click. 🤷

Used to be a really great game. Still is now but in android 11, you can't see the neutral buildings you have captured which is confusing. You also can't attack or capture enemy buildings so you can't complete the missions.
