HEXASTRUM — A Shogi-Style Chess A brand-new hexagonal strategy game that fuses the ideas of shogi and chess. On a 61-square hexagonal board, you fight using two distinct movement systems: straight moves along adjacent edges, and diagonal jumps across vertices. ■ Pieces named after the stars Aries (Pawn), Taurus (Gold), Serpent/Ophiuchus (Silver), Leo (Rook), Sagittarius (Bishop), and the King — five piece types carry the names of the 13 constellations, and each is promoted into its "guardian star" upon reaching enemy territory (Mars, Pluto, Uranus, Neptune). Rank unlocks, special modes, and strategy guidebooks with real match commentary are available as optional in-app purchases (even without any purchase, you can play all the way through the Beginner-to-1-dan CPU ranks).
