It has VISUAL BUGS (related to the VRAM of the gbc and the way it loads) creating visual aberrations on game... and the colors are oversaturated (I am 100% sure it is an issue of this emulator in specific because I tried another one here in my phone and it ran perfectly). Not worth paying for the app on this state of development.. I hope it gets better one day. Also... it asks for you to be ONLINE sometimes in order to confirm that you paid for the APP (extremely annoying)

I've had this app for over a decade and it's still the best out there While some people may complain about the quick load button, you can actually remove it if you go to Settings>Layout(orientation) If you click the menu on the edit screen, you can "edit display items" and remove the quick load button. No more accidental lost progress!

take off the load state button on top of the screen, it is completely foul and ridiculous. I have undone all my progress like 5 times in an hour and wasted the entire hour replaying the same thing over and over again. foul, dumb decision to put that button at the top. unneeded as well. waste of money

Recently purchased have used John GBA for sometime and just had to get the GBC so I can play the old Zelda Oracle series, works just as well as the GBA variant. Absolutely wonderful.

Great emulator with only one minor inconvenience. Would recommend 100% of the time. I just wish that I could make it so that the time wouldn't automatically advance between save stats and loading save states. The system time tracking is a cool idea but it doesn't work well enough, or at all when you choose to use fast forward, to have it always on. If I could dissable that feature I would give this 5 stars. I just want to play pokemon without the clock changing between save states. Plz hlp

Excellent emulator annoying DRM I finally bought this emulator after using the free version for years. I was shocked when I started it up on my flight only to find it wouldn't let me run games as it needed to "check my license" but it wasn't even the first time I opened it I'd set it all up on the ground. So great emulator but with the absolute worst kind of DRM (that punishes paying customers) I would have been better off with the free version instead I had to rawdog the flight.

It stopped reading ROM files because of an Android update. You need to reinstall the app and move your files into the new folder.

The app largely works well, however there is a quick load button on the screen that will load up your most recent save state. There is no secondary confirmation for this action, making it all too easy to accidentally lose progress in your game. Save your game frequently or you, like me, may lose days worth of progress. The next update to this game should either allow you to disable that button or add a confirmation to the action.

This app is awesome, does a great job. I am very annoyed the load state is both A. Defaulted to a quick action button and B. Doesn't prompt for confirmation with a warning. Didn't realize what that button was until I lost 2 days worth of progress because I tried to swipe to see notifications.

This has been a great app which I've been using for many years. However, I tried to play a game this evening on my Pixel 6a and no games are recognised (despite me authorizing access and the files being present). UPDATE: I found the answer in a review for the John GBA app - the game files must now be put in a subfolder called game. Working again! Still a fantastic app.

Update : Can you check whether Pokemon Card GB (Japan) is working or not with this emulator ? It's not working for me. Every other games are working, even Pokemon CARD GB 2 (The sequel) but this one won't work. It's the japanese version only. Trying any other langage of the same game would work. It's very specific to the japanese version. Thanks in advance if you can fix it.

I don't know what I keep doing but it keeps closing the game and then loading it from an old save and I'm losing all my progress. Does extremely annoying because a lot of progress is lost it should automatically save.
