Doesn't exactly tell you all the mechanics. You have to learn them by playing. I.e. No tutorials. The learning curve is not steep and once you understand what you're doing, it's very fun. The art is amazing, the atmosphere is super nice and the music is great Overall, great game, highly recommended.

I play it on PS4 so buying it was a no-brainer. Feels weird playing on my phone, but the controls aren't complicated at all. Simple swipe and tap. 💕 I love the graphics, the sound effects, and I love the music. This is the best strategy game I've ever experienced. It's calming, yet so intense. And ofc, I've come to drop one tip: If you wanna beat island #4, make sure to arrive with 3 platoons. 😌 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is an incredibly well built and stable game. The controls and premise are deceptively simple: expand your kingdom, and survive the nightly hordes. You recruit villagers, assign roles, build structures and manage your gold with fluid controls. The art & music is amazing. It has a great "feel" and works beautifully on mobile. My only criticism would be to offer some tips for new players, and to allow customisation of appearance/heraldry (it's currently mostly random)

Not an easy game, but once you learn the mechanics and the strategy needed it's a fun and challenging game. Beautiful pixel art, loads of unlocks for secondary playthrough, and a challenging game to balance economy, defense and expansion. There are some bugs encountered (builders won't build, builders won't move catapult, etc) that can get annoying but otherwise it can keep you glued to playing.

I have access to this game with the Play Pass. I like this game, it's chill but not passive and it's fun, at least for the time I played, about 3 hours, I don't know if I will continue playing for much longer, will see. Anyway like I said chill, fun, and I may add cool, but 5.49€ it's a "big" price for a mobile game, I get it it takes a ton of work to do a good game for mobile but, I think it's a bit to much, maybe 2.50€ was a better price point. I don't give it 5* because of the price.

It's a mess that has some great concepts that don't quite work. You see players who have played for many months and can't even figure out the basics as the game doesn't reveal much. And the difficulty level is waaaaay too hard. Why is it this hard to get coins? You spend 5 min just to get coins and then need to spend them all on your walls. It's a shame as it makes creative play impossible as you can't experiment with anything when margins are this tight. The concept is great yet unfinished.

Great and frustrating, to make this better when taking soldiers with you to a new land, can you help split them up on both sides. they congregate to one side. also the little helpers dissappear often. maybe make it so they can be brought at the house again?

Addicted! This is by far the best game I have played in years. I got this game a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to put it down. This is a must have! Only problem I have had is that one of my saves got deleted/corrupted, not sure which, so just be warned that that might happen. I have submitted a bug report so hopefully this will be patched by the time any of you all get this game. I wish you luck on this amazing journey!!

Apparently you're supposed to die. I read something by the developer saying that's why they introduced winter. Wanted it to be realistic - except this winter never ends! Yay!! You get to build up a kingdom and when you're in danger of having fun, the big blob guys come and kill your wall. And if you go right/left/right/ enough to actually build up enough archers to kill the big blob puchy guys, then they'll just send four or five. Fun - like a chemistry exam or root canal. Dumb!
