Just let me play the game
When you’re in the game play it’s really fun. But the number of meaningless nonsense you have to click through between each stage makes me actually angry. How many buildings do I have to click on and dialogue screens before I can just play the game that I came here to play? Could have been fun, but I’m out.

Been playing for 5 months. Power up to 30 million. Tell me why I only have one hero with 5 stars, best builders I have is 3 purple and 1 blue. Genuinely would probably take more than 3 years to get each hero to 5 stars, and to get each building to the same level as the headquarters. Not even exaggerating. The reason I don’t spend money on this game is because the price doesn’t match what it’ll do for you in the game. If you’re loaded with money and bored, this is the game for you.

This game is awesome
I've logged in every day for 422 days in a row. So why the 1-star review? The developers decided to cut nearly all the inexpensive packs and they did not replace them with anything comparable. In addition, for the packs they did leave (primarily event related), they gutted them and the prizes stemming from events. Such as the number of items you can trade in or receive from an event. It's quite literally skrink-flation. It's done nothing but slow progress beyond the pay-wall. If the decision to cut packs was motivated by greed, I am fairly certain that it backfired. Most people are not spending within the game as much as they once did. It used to be that packs started at $1 or $5 and tiered upward 6 or 7 tiers, and there were plenty of options to choose from (you could select your growth path). Now, there is one daily pack with 2 tiers. They say the change is based predominantly on user feedback. I'm fairly certain that's inaccurate. Whatever the real cause is, the result is they are killing their user base off. It's quite sad.

FTP requires incredible patience and self control
Free to play requires patience many/most don’t have. I enjoy the game, especially the social aspects so it makes spending $ sort of worth it, but seriously it’s too expensive. If you are an impulsive spender, you could easily rack up 10s of thousands on in game purchases. I’ve seen people end up in serious debt: Whales. I’m a dolphin but still spend around $50 a month and even more during the “seasons” if I don’t keep track. If you’re active and in a good alliance, you will grow without spending.
The developers listen to players’ complaints and requests and this game is so much better now than when I started over two years ago.

Too much time between battles
You have to spend way too much time navigating the base, upgrading things, unlocking, harvesting, and doing all these dumb tasks before you can just jump into the fun part (the actual battle). Not worth it

Beware the scam! They are preying on addiction and they have tons of scams to trick you into. People are spending thousands foolishly on here and wasting an extreme amount of time. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT START! If you are a parent do not let your kids have access to a credit card. I see younger people spending foolishly as if it were mom and dad’s money.

Last War: Survival (5 month review)
I am five months into this game, and I am already non competitive. I have spent over $500 American dollars and am so under powered still that opponents just laugh at me. Cant recommend this game. It’s a money pit with zero payoff.

If you want to immerse yourself in a game, this is the one, but be advised it requires a lot of time and or money to grow to the top, and it’s constantly creating new events to learn and adapt to, so be advised casual play and low spending / F2P players have literally no shot at enjoying the game unless you like losing continuously. Devote 4-6 hours each day if you want to get anywhere with low/no spending, schedule your life around event times (necessary for F2P) and you can eventually get to a point where it’s fun but it takes many months, and the changing seasons radically change gameplay so you constantly have to change and adapt (twice a year I think). If you want to spend 30 hrs a week or $100/week (or both) you will like the game. Casual players, find something else unless you like being last and at the bottom always.

Addicted game but it is all about $$$$
Don’t download this game if you don’t plan to spend $2000+ and 4 hours a day.
The part that is fun has almost no rewards and the only rewards come from $$$$.
Game like this will eventually run out players as the regular players won’t stay long.
Games that money plays some roles but not make you 100 times stronger than others are much better.

The actual playing of the game is great I’ve logged in everyday for almost a year it’s great… until there is an issue. The game updates constantly making hard to open the app without waiting 5 minutes for it to open. Don’t start. Lots of bugs and no support
I’m about to start season 2 and the devs have gone out of their way to make it impossible for f2p or low tier spenders to compete.
Daily sales have been removed and task rewards have been reduced. Unless you or someone on your team wants to do non stop diplomacy with other alliances you won’t get anywhere.
Today my shields were reduced for no reason and customer support can’t be bothered to explain why. The time, resources, and actual money I am out now because of this is super disappointing and discouraging. What is the point in investing in protection if it won’t last for as long as advertised and if customer support won’t reply why even bother?
Long story long, unless you’re looking to spend a lot of money don’t start and don’t play.

Great at first, then not so much…
The game is basically a much more involved version of Clash. At first there are a ton of fun activities and mini games to build on the pay-to-win base building clan mechanic. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks the difficulty level on the mini games becomes impossible and you are effectively stuck with a check-in-once-a-day-pay-to-win-base-builder. Not much fun.

One example of a fix that has happened multiple times when you’re scrolling up to pick a reward it’s easy to click on an item and it automatically does the exchange
This is painful and there should be a prompt. Are you sure you want to do this because to scroll and be able to touch the reward and then it automatically happens is a serious issue when you did not want that reward

Loved it but..
Loved the game when started. Mainly played for frontline breakthrough but as you progress into the later stages those type of battle stop. Stages feel stagnant and don’t feel engaging. Fight is pretty much auto and you will need to upgrade your heroes significantly. In a strong alliance but only play for weekly frontline breakthrough event.
Suggestion: Most players started playing this game because of frontline breakthrough. Bringing back the earlier type of stages in the armored truck will be great, many players will appreciate it. I’ve noticed just recently radar task had a frontline breakthrough type of play which is a good start, perhaps implement more of those plays without the original heroes and set higher rewards for those who claim higher points. (Blue boxes) The one with heroes should be added back in the armored truck stages. This type of gameplay is the sole reason for millions of users to play which is why this game is considered world leading frontline game vs other mimics.

It’s a pocket Casino
After more than $10k and 600 days of play I think it’s safe to call this game a casino. Its sole function is to get players to addicted to clicking on all the things to spend time and in turn spend money to keep up with everyone else. There are so many ways to spend money and every season brings new things to upgrade. Every aspect brings an increasing amount of things to spend time and money on. The disparity between free to play and pay to play is so vast that it is essentially two different games. Highly recommend not playing
