Little Farm Story

Been playing for 2ish months. It's pay-to-play. If you want to upgrade something, you gotta pay. You want to automize harvesting crops? You've gotta pay. Wanna use plows to harvest fields faster? Pay up. Wanna enjoy the game and progress in a meaningful way? Cough it up. It's either that, or watching endless ads. The game's not fun if you don't spend a bit to get certain workers. And honestly, as far as harvesting games go, I've played MUCH more fun ones. This one's mediocre at best.

Decent game, too expensive

The game is fun, and it is what the ads made it appear to be. I paid for no forced ads and that is worth it in my opinion. It’s very ridiculous how expensive things are, it’s like whoever set the prices has no concept of money. If you aren’t willing or capable of dropping tons of money, and who is? It takes quite a while to collect the needed resources to progress in the game. I’m not saying it needs to be free of ads or totally free but the cost of actual money and in game resources needs changed.

Terrible game. Do not download. It's a pay-to-win game. Progression is greatly slowed unless you pay to get advanced features in the game. There is no AFK progress either. You have to keep the app open and watching ads to make any progress.

I downloaded this game because I loved that it could be played offline. But ever since I connected to the online part, I’ve had lots of lag and glitches. Sometimes the game gets really slow or crashes, and in Adventure and Countryside some parts of the map randomly turn purple while the rest looks normal. It usually goes back to normal only after I close and reopen the game. I really hope you can fix these issues because I love this game!

Worst AD laden app

This APP would be fun to play without the 6 million requests for money every where you turn! You open it and every time 3 pop ups you have to close that want you to spend. Then everything in the app wants you to buy it or watch a video. Some ads are expected for a free game but this is ridiculous! Update: The developer of this game personally reached out to me even though I was pretty harsh with my review. I don’t regret the review or tone of it, but I do appreciate the developers’ very well-written and thoughtful response.

The graphics are great! But the whole purchase the no ad free for life but yet you still have their active pop ads which interrupts your line of vision on the game. Causes you to loose tools bc of those random ad tents. Also the length of time that it takes to move through levels without blowing money is stupidly obnoxious. Wool Harvester Glitch

I really enjoy playing this game but when I got to the point where I needed to rescue the wool harvester, my game crashed and once I reopened it, saving the wool harvester was no longer an option. The game moved on to the next challenge and now there’s no way for me to save the wool harvester so there’s no one to harvest my wool. I tried looking up how to solve this glitch and come to find out, this is a known glitch in little farm story. I don’t understand why there’s no way to fix this issue yet but I’m hoping leaving a review about it will catch the attention it needs to solve it.

Ads galore. I paid the $8 to skip the forced ads only to be met with a paid feature every 5 steps on the map. And not just a couple dollars here and there…it’s like $13 for things you need to progress past level 4. Or $9 to use the warehouse I had to build. Plus pop up offers and “discounts” from $5-$40!. It was fun for a minute but I wish I hadn’t wasted the $8 on ads free since now I’m stuck behind a paywall to even continue. It’s gross. I purchase things in games sometimes..usually when it’s under $5 and when it feels like a choice, not shoved in my face and making the game un enjoyable until I spend $40 on workers to only work when the game is open. There are better ways to make the money you need to develop the game. Make the game enjoyable enough to keep people coming back. You’ve lost this player and many others it seems.

tell me why every in app purchase is insanely expensive? like why are you asking me to spend $13 on 30 diamonds and 10 bolts? or $40 for an extra arm to catch shells. or $18 for 3 animals, that’s insane. no app should cost that much. i’d understand like $2. also the game just moves way too slow! why does it take me 30 years to fricken upgrade anything!!! i love this game but its truly a waste of time. recommendation, make the game a little faster pace as far as upgrading goes, it shouldn’t be SO expensive so lower the cost of things, you might actually get some in store purchases, there should be an update where you can get a market to buy things you need. like say you need 30 diamonds, that cost 100k of the money you make in the game, i have almost 200k and idk how to spend it because everything else you need to make purchases with that money takes days to accumulate.

They are much more frequent. Are the ads really worth the extra couple cents you get from those companies/games? Probably not. I am therefore deleting the game. Cute game, some issues

I like the game quite a bit, but there are some things that should be changed. For example, you out in the work to save a worker or repair something, but then have to pay to use that worker or equipment. The milk also doesn’t produce unless you’re actively playing the game, the pumpkins are the same way, and I just bought a 4th cow, but the game only recognizes 3 of them. Whenever milk is produced there are only 3. I can’t just let this play in the background all the time so to see that get fixed would be nice.

Frozen ads - unable to play

In the last day or two, every time I try to watch an ad to get something, like a worker for 5 min, or some type of product, it goes to a black screen and then I can’t get out of it. When I click, it pops up an app in the App Store, but I can’t ever get out of the blank black ad in the game. I’ve tried waiting several minutes, and have no way to exit without doing a force restart of the app. By doing forced restart, I lose anything I had brought over to the table to sell, in addition to having to see the opening pop up ads every time as well. This game is now unplayable without spending money, which I’m unwilling to do, which is why I put up with ads. Even before the ads fully stopped working, some are 3 seconds long, and some are 60+ seconds long. I’m fine with ads, and would prefer if they were all the 3 second pop up, but with random long ads, the game was frustrating and borderline unplayable. Now it’s just fully unplayable.

Heavy Pay to Win

In the world of pay-to-win games, this one is near the top. And you don't have to play long to find out — the paywall shows up almost immediately. It's gotten to the point where the free path isn't even fun anymore; every non-paying option feels like filler. You win a mission and the very next one is gated behind money. Let the reward sit for a minute before shoving the next paywall in my face. That's not monetization, that's insulting. I'm not a gamer. I'm a regular guy who picked this up to kill some time. I'm not a cheap guy either, and I don't mind paying for something I enjoy, but this one hits the wall within the first few sessions, and from there paying isn't optional — it's the whole game. To the developers: if you're going to do this, at least don't make it so obvious.

Great, but greedy

This game is fun, but I have some issues… The developers are greedy. I might be one of the only ones who understands that devs need to make money. They’re a business and deserve to be paid for their work. However, this game nickels and dimes you like crazy. I paid for no ads and sometimes they still pop up randomly. Everything takes forever. You have to collect things to upgrade and then wait for it to complete, which takes a long time. I also noticed that many items don’t build up while you’re not playing. I can stop playing for hours and go in and there’s no milk, pumpkins, etc built up for me to collect. I don’t know why that is. The game also almost requires you to purchase helpers, etc. The game would be much better if they fixed these issues.

Good but expensive as hell

They lose 3 stars because of how much the game costs IF YOU WISH TO DO IN APP PURCHASES. Two farm workers for $16.99? To be able to use the tractor “forever” $7.99? Another worker for $12.99? ECT, each factory you open you have the option to hire the workers but you actually need them to be sufficient in this game. What the heck? Make it affordable this is literally more expensive than a PlayStation game. The app however has little to no errors for me and the graphics are good.

Progression is way too slow

After playing this game for awhile and spending an embarrassing amount of money to progress. I’m ready to give up and delete. I thought I finally found an interactive game to pass time! Really had high hopes! But the progression is way to slow. Waiting times for traders is outlandish when compared to the amount of items you receive. You Put in hours of work to acquire all the items for trade. Wait an hr and and a half for them to return with 10 bricks! I’ve spent most time watching ads for rewards which doesn’t feel like your getting to enjoy playing the actual game. You guys need to balance the payouts and lessen the amount of items required for upgrades. Make the game playable. Your players are willing to watch ads and to spend real money but this is just plain greedy! And makes a wonderful game concept unplayable and unenjoyable.

I became addicted to this game immediately. I have been playing it for a couple weeks now and I play it in my spare time during the day and for a ridiculous amount of time at night. It is so much fun however I had to delete it because the tasks that they are asking for are just too much. 40 diamonds is seven trips in the helicopter. Seven trips in the helicopter takes all day. For one little task. And if you go to purchase anything, it’s incredibly expensive and you don’t get a lot for your money. I watched the ads and I loved to play the game. I’m so sad but I had to delete it.

Mining for coal/wool

I honestly used to really love this game. Spent more money than I care to admit playing it, but recently all I do is mine coal. Watering cabbage? You need coal. Carrots? Coal. Feathers? Coal. Cheese? Coal. Whatever that cooked carrot dish is? Coal. Pillows? Coal. Additionally there’s only two places to get coal… and dude I’m halfway through level 19 and I’m on big time coal burn out. The new train thing is cool but also the train deliveries are becoming the same thing but mining wool or paint. There are so many halfway done adventures I want to finish but I keep getting directed to coal and wool. What about the other boat dock? Or the light tower? Annoyed

Got the game and liked it. Bought VIP to remove constant ads, not knowing that it was only good for a few days of getting the perks. I can't progress in the game anymore because every upgrade requires blue jewels, which you have to buy with real money. On top of that, the wait time for the next trade is just too long. Bad implementation. You are stuck with ads for few minutes just within few minutes of the game which you can not skip. If you watch any ads for rewards it just lasts few minutes which is terrbile. entire game feels like sluggish random afterthought after deve watched some ads and decided to develop. all reviews that you see are simply paid reviews.

Fun but too many ads and glitches

I love this game but there are WAY too many ads and when an ad pops up it will often times glitch forcing me to force close the game and then I lose everything in my inventory backpack and various fields. This is extremely frustrating as it’s slowed down my progress on the game. Especially when some items take a very long time to grow/produce. Please fix this bug in the game!

Time?

Love this game! The only downside is that all of the animals eat, grow, etc offline but the workers collecting crops stop when offline. I feel like if the animals are productive while offline so should the workers. This would especially help with milk production which takes FOREVER because of how slow the pumpkin worker is despite numerous upgrades. I’m tired of getting tasks with 52 milk and it taking FOREVER.

not even deserve one star I’m uninstalling this game today. Every few minutes, there are multiple ads, and it literally feels like the game is begging for money at every step. For upgrades, we have to pay ₹1,350 for diamonds, otherwise the progress stops. Too many ads and too much pressure to spend money. Totally frustrating and a complete waste of time.

Pointless game when it comes down to it. it was fun for a bit. I don't mind games where you have to grind a bit or watch a few ads but this one became watching one to get ANYTHING very quickly and if you did? once the ad ends, just like the other players said you get NO credit for having watched it and have to try again. After a few times of this I went to support and explained the issue clearly but got a nonsense response that ignored the issue completely! they just tried sell me no ads.

Scam Alert!

The game was fun but soon became unplayable due to the ads. I ended up paying $7.99 for no forced ads and but I was still getting ads occasionally. I reached out to customer support for them to argue with me saying that I'm not getting ads and denied a refund despite not holding up on their end with the no ads. Now that I'm reading other reviews of people who paid and are still getting ads I'm pretty sure this is a scam. Don't waste your time or money on this game. Terrible customer service and game is just a fat scam.

Too many ads

Was excited to find a game that matched its own advertising. But discovered the ads just make it too obnoxious to play. Just when you think you get ahead and get a helper character, it’s literally 5 mins and then you have to pay for the characters time again either by coins (real money) or via watching a terrible AI ad. You basically move across the map and boom another ad. Walking by certain locations triggers an in-game ad to purchase more wheat or coins or whatever. I don’t mind watching and ad to speed something up or acquire more material but this game just overdoes it. It had so much potential. Uninstalled after about a week of play, maybe less.

If you enjoy being a manual cursor executing a predetermined checklist of tasks within a pretense of power and control, then this is the game for you. But for me? I value my time and brain too much to waste on this psychological manipulator. What a stupid waste of time. Additionally, the game is constantly pressuring purchases and pushing ads. It's also a memory/storage hog. Not worth it. I really don't get how it has any reviews over 2 stars.

I would have gladly given this game a higher star rating but man, the ads and the off game actions make it not worth playing. Ads come constantly and the pop ups are everywhere. On top of that when you have to watch and ad and when you are off everything stops. The farms don’t produce or anything. They only grow and workers produce while you are actively on, to include in stops when forced to watch in game ads every 3 minutes. Really like the game a lot, but on the verge of deleting. By far the most forced ad heavy game I have ever played.

The only reason I’m playing this app is because I’m getting paid for it. The fact that they try to make a profit off of this game (which is incredibly glitchy, and basic at best.) when they can’t even use real artwork is disgusting, and absolute bs. I’m sure more than just the art is ai aswell.

False advertisement

The game that was advertised and the game that players actually receive are nothing alike. The graphics don’t match the advertisements, and the gameplay isn’t nearly as enjoyable as it was presented to be. Instead, the game feels tedious and is overloaded with ads. One of the few enjoyable features was being able to bring back thousands of units of coal from Jellyfish Farm to exchange for water, but that was reduced to only 30. Chan Farm and Mateo Farm have become nothing more than repetitive tasks that quickly become boring. The missions take far too long to complete, and even when I spend real money to purchase silver, there are additional limitations placed on how many bricks I can collect per hour. If I need more silver, I’m forced to complete yet another task or requirement. Earning only 11 diamonds per flight feels unnecessarily restrictive. With every update, it seems like more of the enjoyable aspects of the game are being removed instead of improved. At this point, the game feels less rewarding and more focused on creating obstacles that encourage additional spending rather than providing an enjoyable player experience.

Fun except gets annoying

Really fun game in the beginning. Few very annoying things. After you pay a ridiculous amount to remove adds it stills makes you close out 3 EVERY time you open the game. Also the amount of cabbage you need to trade is very annoying. Any of the crops that need water buckets is hard to get and makes it not as fun. You have to get a lot of coal which takes a while.

So, I played Rent Please for monthssss, then I found this game and completely stopped playing Rent Please because I got hooked on this one. 😂 I’ve been playing for a while now and genuinely really like the game, but one thing that’s frustrating is the redemption codes. Every time I find codes through Facebook groups, Reddit, etc., literally NONE of them work for me, even though I’ll see other players in the comments saying they worked for them. I also spend quite a bit of money on this game—honestly, way more than I’ve ever spent on any other game. With Rent Please, once you spend a certain amount, you become a valued player and they’ll actually email you special redemption codes and rewards, which I think is pretty cool. I really wish this game had something similar to reward players who consistently spend money. I faithfully renew ALL of my tools plus the faster horse every 7 days like clockwork. 😂 On top of that, I’m constantly buying the $9.99 package for 2,000 coins and sometimes the $25 package for 5,000 coins. At this point, it would be really nice to have some type of loyalty or VIP reward system for players who consistently support and spend money on the game.

Little Farm Story Review

I love it, but…

I love this game, but I can only play for about 20-30 minutes before my phone overheats and the graphics start to lag and I get stuck in an endless loop of ads because the game takes so long to reload. For reference, I have an iPhone12, so this may just be the experience for older models. But overall, a great game.

It’s alright

I like this game but this is one of the slowest gameplays I’ve ever experienced. The landscape for the farm is huge and you aren’t able to zoom in/out. Everything takes so long and moves so slowly, except the tomatoes and eggs. It’s not my phone, it’s not my connection, it’s the gameplay. I had this Little Bear game I played as a kid that had a faster game play. It annoys me when I walk the character by certain objects and locations and advertisements pop up wanting me to spend my money on the game.

Meh Game

Game has a lot of missions and a decent map. But everything is based on you paying for extra supplies or watching long ads to get supplies. After about an hour of game play every mission needs Bricks. To get bricks you have to trade supplies that take time to harvest. Then after transferring all the supplies that took money or ads to get or else it would take non stop hours then you must wait to receive the bricks unless you want to pay. Then next mission is 3 more transfers for bricks.

Love this game!!

Overall this is such an enjoyable game. I play allll the time and love how big my farm is getting. I did end up paying for the no ads so that I could play in peace. My only complaint is sometimes my diamonds or bricks or other things to go to something that I don’t want them to go to. Sometimes they will go to things even if I’m not stepping in the white circle. I wish there was an option to confirm how many and what exactly we want things to go to.

Love except the diamond rule

Loved building in this game until I learned that you can only earn diamonds by paying $12.99 to gain access to the airplane pilot. Why can’t I earn them in another way instead of paying? I can’t upgrade certain things without these diamonds
