Love Lost Lands

I just finished the Lost Lands 5CE game and loved it as much as the rest of them. I am planning on playing all of these before moving on to another game series. On to Lost Lands 6 now!

Only half way through, but loving #5 even more than the rest. All the reasons for loving the first four are still there...plus...they have added a "strategy guide" so if you get really really stuck, you can take a peek there. Or you can ignore it...lol. Leaves you with no excuse not to love this game!!

This game would have so much potential to be better puzzle adventure game! I rated sequel and 4th Lost lands 4 stars just because the game itself is interesting enough. I downgraded now because there are too much repetition in puzzles. I have watched other games that the same developer has made and there are the same puzzles but in different form. It kind of killing the game play. This 5th Lost lands will be my ending game from the same developer. Unless there would be advanced version puzzles.

Love the game - now that I moved from F2P version. I spent more on hints before my switch and full has skip and guides... I want to be ticked off, yet I am still playing. Took me a while eye saver mode on my tablet was jacking up the graphics. So glad I found the 6.99 full version ugh, I am hooked.

Love this Series

My daughter and I have been playing together for months now and are on lost lands 5. We play the advanced level and play about 20 minutes every night helping each other out. We always buy the complete game for the $7 but find it worth the money. Graphics are great, puzzles are challenging, story is a little cheesy but nice. I’d like to try the most challenging difficulty where the map doesn’t tell you where to go but my daughter doesn’t find it fun that way so we keep the map hints. Anyway great game and series so I highly recommend it

I'll be honest, this was the easiest one so far, finished it in a few hours, I was really hoping for the price it would be a longer game. Not a lot of replayablity, I went through it faster than any of the other games. Looking forward to the 6th but will try the free version first. I don't want to spend a load of money on something disappointing. The story line on this game was good, engaging, but too short. I have enjoyed all of the Lost Land games until now. This is the first one that I paid for the full game and it has been a struggle to play. First, I was not able to use the coins to purchase items at the shop. Now, I am not able to place any items on the alchemist table. More frustrating than fun.

Another great adventure

This series is a favorite. Beautiful art, great characters that you get to know across several games. Wonderfully complex HOPs, and fun mini games. Love the collectibles, and of course the map that helps you to get around, and shows whether you have found all of the collectibles in a scene. The art is extremely detailed. If you zoom in you can see tiny beetles and other creatures. I’m playing the whole series again. I wish there were more for iPad

I decided to buy the full game as thanks for enjoying lots of your free games, so thanks! It was nice to have free hints and solutions when I really got stumped, and finally getting to play a bonus chapter was cool too. :) A few imperfections lead to four instead of five stars, but I still had fun playing another game to pass quarantine time.

Glitch prevents progress

Game is interesting, but when I reach the step where I need to make cold blood elixer, the game won't allow me to add the ingredients even though I follow the recipe. This effectively ends the game early

Cannot move past level “N”

Great game, but cannot move past level “N”. There is a bug that doesn’t allow me to put the ice wolf blood and scolopendra eggs can’t be put on the round table to complete the cold blood elixir recipe.

As the rest of the series, this game has a great storyline and some tricky puzzles. I can't stand hidden object scenes, but in 5BN games at least they are a bit creative and interactive, not just stupidly find items in a scene. It's shorter than the earlier Lost Lands games though, and the cutscenes are terribly blurry on my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S3). Since the increase in price, I delay purchase until they are on sale. Pity they don't come with a reduced introductory price, as is quite common practise with other companies.

Intelligent and beautiful series

I am only partway into this episode of the Lost Lands series, but it too promises to provide a likable plot, interesting characters, beautiful scenes, and clever puzzles. To me these games offer excellent value for the money, much more so than some competitors.

Beautiful game. I liked how the story flowed and there was cleverly included the previous part of this serie, they sit smoothly in this part. Otherwise the game worked but there was couple minigames where the controls were placed really poorly and the playing was just awful. Again there was lot of playing, doing and solving. I think that this could be a really good game (and serie) if there wasn't those little bugs and bad-placed-controls..

Five-BN = The Best Games!

I wish BF were half this good. There is imagination in these games, absolutely fabulous stories! Stories are completely lacking in BF games, which boringly deteriorate into picking stuff up and putting it somewhere. This game captures a story and plays it out all the way to the end of the game. Graphics are great, HOPs are especially fun, and I love the puzzles! I do have a complaint: not enough games! If only there were more of these. I am a completely loyal follower (and buyer)!

Lost Lands: Ice Spell by LynxMinx

Note to all who read my review: I might be overtired! My neighbor’s dogs bark and howl like wolves all night, every night and I am exhausted. I can barely see straight. What can I say? Everyone else liked it much more than I did. I felt like I didn’t get enough bang for my buck. At $6.99, it was expensive and there was no trial. Five BN gave us a lot but I found certain components missing. Maybe if it had been $2.99 or even $3.99, I would have felt like we were given enough to merit such an expensive price tag for such a short game. You could customize settings. There was a marked teleport map to transport you instantaneously between locations, and it also noted whether you still had morphing objects and collectibles to find. There was a cohesive journal; however you could see that the grammar and syntax were somewhat off. For the price it wasn’t a very lengthy game, even including the bonus adventure. The graphics were superior and the cut-scenes remarkable with 3D movement utilized. Inventory items were labeled and there were complex items to assemble. This was not an HO-heavy game, and it only had one type of HO, where you must find the silhouetted object and use it to unlock further objects. I still would have preferred some variety, as with their other series’ Darkness and Flame. The storyline in this game was not unique in any way, and I felt a bit bored. The mini-puzzles and games did require bit more thought but most of them were still of the mind-numbing rotational sort. Maybe I am just tired but I didn’t find this game quite as fabulous as everyone did. I thought it was decent but did not merit a 5 star review. There was nothing about it that made it really stand out to me. Also it seemed like several of the HO scenes were extremely alike, where you must forge items in a smithy. In addition I found the interface had some touch sensitivity issues, especially at the beginning of the game. I hope you all received everything you dreamed of for Christmas. I was shocked that BigFish gave us two games one day apart, one from Domini and one from Mad Head! Now that was an unexpected present! Happy gaming, everyone!

As always the lost lands series delivers. We continue with the same great characters, a lengthy game, similar format as the other games in the series. I am not going to go into detail about the game except to say that if you are a fan of the other lost land games you will not be disappointed! I rarely give five stars however the lost land series, other five bn series, some artifex Mundi games, and a handful of big fish games over the years have earned five stars from me.
