I love it sm but hate the energy

I love this game, especially the merge and complete orders. But having to have energy is so annoying and frustrating, it stops me from playing after 15-20 mins… you’d think they’d want you to play the game as long as you’d like😅

The game is fun.. however

The game itself is actually fun, and the merge mechanics are enjoyable, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. Unfortunately, it's buried under so many monetization mechanics that it stops being fun after a while. The biggest issue is the energy system. You're capped at 100 energy, it takes 120 seconds to regenerate a single point, and it takes nearly 3 hours to refill from empty. Of course, you can buy more with real money. Which also allows you to bypass the 100 cap limit. Then there are the generators. They aren't unlimited and constantly go on cooldown. The higher-level generators seem to produce fewer items before needing to recharge, and the only way to skip the wait is by spending gems—a premium currency that's also sold for real money. The BBQ Book generator feels especially frustrating because its main purpose seems to be draining your energy as fast as possible, encouraging you to buy more. On top of that, the game throws what feels like a million side events and mini-games at you. Instead of adding to the experience, they become overwhelming and distracting. I started playing through KashKick, and because of all these energy limits, cooldowns, and bottlenecks, reaching the required milestones within the allotted time was essentially impossible without spending money. The core game is good, but it's held back by aggressive monetization and unnecessary mechanics that constantly interrupt the gameplay.

My guilty pleasure!

This is my absolute favorite game. It’s how I relax and occupy myself during rare free time. However, the farther you advance, the less rewards and the more expensive things become. Despite my love for this game, I’m going to have to find something new. It costs too much to make things and now you only get 15 energy for completing a renovation. I’m disappointed in how it becomes a money grab as you advance, but it’s still one of my favorites.

Don’t recommend

I’ve been playing for about 2 weeks now & have noticed this game is very greedy. It does not show how much time a producer needs instead you have the option to spend diamonds in order to produce again. At which point it gives you less & less each time you use your diamonds. Making it impossible to complete the orders unless you spend money on it, smh such a shame.

Great game!

I have become obsessed with merging and getting a little further everyday. And the goals in this game are obtainable. It’s not like some that give you 5 energy and then it takes days to build back up. It’s a fair amount of energy, a good amount of time to build back up, and NO ADS! It’s fun and relaxing. I love this game.

I’m stuck on level 61. The item is a bean curd pudding (corn and water add to blender) isn’t working when the generator pushes out what’s used to make it. They are not lighting green and won’t blend to make the bean curd pudding

Has potential but forces you to spend money

Game started out so fun, but energy quickly depletes and no way of playing game unless you wait for energy to refill. Even then, you usually don’t have enough energy to complete enough to progress in the game. I spent $5 and got over 200 gems that I quickly used up in 15 min thanks to the “cooking” aspect and the fact that you only get 10 items to merge out of each generator. Any merge game that makes you “cook” like this game, be warned… they only added that bc it takes up to one hour to cook the item that they are hoping you give up and purchase diamonds which allow you to bypass the cooking timer. There are tickets you can use to speed it up but they are inconsistent and they never supply enough. Deleting this game from my phone and any like it that make you cook or that the generators work for 10 items. Good quality games give you much more items then 10 and will only cost you 1-2 gems to power back up or you can wait like 1 min. The only thing the developers of this game had in mind was being greedy. Can’t do anything in 2026 😐

Fun at first… then not so much

This game is a fun way to pass the time, the merging is chill, the little events are fun. But the level scaling is really rough. The generators to make the items that you merge don’t give you higher level items quick enough to make actual progress on the goals at higher levels. This makes is super hard to actually do well in the mini games, and sometimes it can take days to complete one goal between running out of energy and exhausting generators. It becomes frustrating instead of fun. I hope they do something to make it fun across all levels.

False Marketing

I downloaded this game from their advertisement while playing another game, and this is not the preview I played even remotely. I was advertised a cake merging puzzle and got a way different type of merging game and was greeted with stupid AI voice acting. I’m sure it’s a fun game, but it is NOT what I was advertised. Customers don’t want false marketing.

Merge Theme Restaurant has really charming graphics and fun restaurant themes, and the merging itself is satisfying. The game gives you a steady sense of progress, and the decorations make each area feel cute and unique. Sometimes the energy system slows things down, and a few appliances — especially the sushi maker and the blender — really need more recipes to keep things interesting. GREAT game, just as advertised, little to no greedy micropayments, addicting AF … but THE SIDE MINI GAMES THO!!! Like the races? WORST IDEA and at first it was just annoying … but when I stop playing the whole game for days because of UNWINNABLE side games that you are forced to fail, unless you’re playing all day and all night. Im so irritated with it I had to come make a review. Look, please either get rid of those side races all together, or AT LEAST have them time out after some time, with the same people. No one wants to sacrifice all their hard work for Fkn 2nd place, much less 3rd!! You’re killin me y’all…

Different but lovely

So fun!

This game literally changed my life!! As a 12 year old who doesn’t have a SIM card on her phone this game is soo fun and entertaining to play anywhere without WiFi or with. Another thing I liked is that if you run out of energy, you can watch ads to get more energy. Something that I dislike about the game is that when you run out of energy and you are offline, there is nothing you could do about it, which makes the game useless since you have to wait around 2 hours to refill on energy. Other then that this game is so amazingly!!

great but i don’t have some features

i love this game. i’ve played it every day for the past 6 months. however, i’ve noticed that other people i know who play it have features that i don’t which would improve my gameplay, and it’s very discouraging. they’ll have events, different ad options, and receive more helpful items from packs than i do. because of this, they progress a lot faster than me. it’s really frustrating, as fun as this game is.
