Immersive and engaging. No map, but plenty of hints and the option to skip mini games.
- Amazingly Awesome · v1.2.7
Love the game, but yesterday's update deleted all my progress (and I was nearly through the whole thing)! So have subtracted a star because that's really annoying!
- Jonathan Schütz · v1.2.7
good game
- 5 AM · v1.2.6
a lot of fun
- David Darcy · v1.2.6
This is honestly the greatest point and click right behind the room. It is a great follow up from the prologue, and it is very very hard to think that only 2 people made this game because it has perfect story and graphics. I will definitely be purchasing chapter 2 and 3. Keep up the good work you two.
- WhY DO I NeeD A NicknamE 321 · v1.1.9
It was quite good. Hint system works well especially after having a long break. Would recommend
- Denizhan Koray KESİM · v1.2.6
challenging without being unsolvable. That said, I had to use the hint a few times to get unstuck. Fun, if you like puzzles that will make you think!
- Robert Barker · v1.2.6

It has everything I want for a point-and-click adventure game.
- feng2_0 · v1.1.9
great storyline and gameplay
- Seán Dempsey · v1.2.6
So much fun. Again, beautiful graphics and not too complicated puzzles. I would kill for a map which, they give you in picture form, but a fast travel would be easier. I suppose that is part of the charm. There are hints, as well. I enjoyed thoroughly! Playing it again, still so much fun!
- Anastasia's Hole in the Holler Creations · v1.2.6
Fun and challenging
- Piero Favretti · v1.2.6
Challenging without leaving you stranded if you get stumped. I wish it had been longer, but that's what the next chapters are for! I hope there are lots of chapters in the works!

Interesting story. Decent puzzles that aren't crazy difficult. Good game play overall. This is my second time playing. I originally played it in 2021.
- David Lazarus · v1.2.6
Spent 4 hours playing only for the game to crash and lose all my progress. Unable to recover it and not worth it to play through to get to where I was. So frustrating!!

Too easy and too short. Good for about 30-45min at the most.

Finished it, had to look up for the solution only one time. That black and white blinking cursor is really hard to notice because we just press numbers and don't notice the color of the cursor while typing. Well done game, highly recommended :)

Excellent puzzles, and a nice mix of puzzles. Some have numbers, some have a certain order, some require finding a certain tool. Fun game, glad I bought it - will be buying the next chapters as well.
- Katrin C · v1.2.6
Fun game, puzzles are challenging but not completely insane or unrealistic. It's a big map but most clues are all are in the same area for the phase of the game you're in. There is little time spent running between different areas
- Darren Jarvis · v1.2.6

🗣️ Sorry I’m yelling ! BUT I wanna say I’ve never played any hop with such realistic vibes. So cool and u made your first chapter free!! Y’all are the 🐐! Guys just download n play. I accidentally started Aurora hills chapter 1 (Guys the graphics are dope af😍)and started 2. I came back to the App Store to see what others they had and I installed them all 😂.I stopped playing Aurora hills chapter 2. So I can start from the very first game on the list and I’ll work my way up.Normal mode def helps a lot but not too much depending on the quest.Keep making more games I’ve already finished chapter one and on to chapter 2 of 157 👏🏾🫶🏾 . Ok bye ✌🏾😁❣️

- Heidi Huggins · v1.2.6
Overcomplicated myself thinking I needed to figure out the safe via the blacked out papers/employee #. Oh well, at least I was close at first with Engineering dept being #2, 2nd number being dept+DOB and final 2 being sum of DOB 6/9/1983 (36>09), but wasn't too sure about their 3rd number. No no it was the books, silly me. Things got simpler after that (PS, safe appears to be indeed the terminated employee # lmao) Very fair price and some puzzles that really make you think.

- chintan gandhi · v1.2.6
i like the graphics, storyline, FREE hint button, and puzzles are relatively easy. the only thing I can say I dont like is that theres no map to jump to scenes so u have to use the back button ALOT. which isnt horrible but it would save time. but to keep the "real feel" it would have to stay the same as they made it. so its not really a complaint...they definitely stuck with the theme. glad I found this when the next few chapters have already been made or I WOULDA BEEN MAD! LMAO 🤣

Play the game in Hard Mode to really test your brain, its very good and challenging at times well done.
- Dago Saenz · v1.2.5
Just the right amount of difficulty to be fun, but helpful hints are available if you get stuck. Reminded me of super fun Nancy Drew PC games, except players don’t have to talk to any characters (which is nice!). Just find clues and solve puzzles! And there is a fun, spooky mystery element as well :)
- Megan9856 · v1.1.9
You only get a choice to skip puzzles. The puzzles make no sense without an explanation.
- RainS345G · v1.1.8
My chief complaint with this game is the fact that you have to back into everything. Navigating through the game is SO frustrating!! Also, the hints aren’t great. Just provide some info on the goal for each puzzle. Then hints may not even be necessary.
- JuliaGoolia11712 · v1.1.8

I’m completely addicted and sad I’ll be through all this developer’s games soon at this rate. I can’t put them down. These are great, with an eerie vibe, good music, satisfying puzzles and a neat storyline. Highly recommend.

- DrMSW · v1.1.8
This game has all the right elements: The story is intriguing, the locations are mysterious and eerie, and the puzzles (for the most part) are difficult but not impossible. I really like the way everything is arranged. Most of the time you can figure out what to do next based on the items you collect, and although you do have to do a majority of the puzzles in a specific order, the game lets you explore quite a bit before you’re stopped by a locked door or a blocked passageway. I only have a few critiques: -sometimes the controls are a bit off. A couple times I spent ages going in circles before realizing I hadn’t tapped the location exactly right to place an object. -a few of the puzzles don’t have any kind of rubric or a key or an explanation for to how to solve them. I like a challenge but I don’t like it when there’s zero guidance or it’s just random and you have to do hit and miss tactics -the music is good but it gets repetitive. I don’t mind the more mysterious techno inspired song that plays every other cycle in the first part, or the second score after the first act, (after fixing the elevator) but the sad tune that plays on rotation throughout the whole first act, with the violins/cellos, is way too somber and irritating for me Other than those minor issues, I love this game.
- Liztheavenger · v1.1.8
That incredibly too short of a play through. Very disappointing. Dont know if i want to even bother with the other chapters now because the increase in cost.
- tr3y003 · v1.1.8
I am so happy to have found a new interactive game. I remember playing games like Myst on the desktop, Heavy Rain on the PS3. I love interactive games that include puzzles but still have a storyline. Meridian was very interesting and had great puzzles. I enjoyed the storyline as well. I played the whole story in two days. I also just finished Aurora Hills, waiting for the next chapter now! I also love that it is phone friendly. This is the first game I've played in a long time that was on my phone. It was extremely easy to navigate. I am excited to see what's next.
- hollyvrobinson · v1.1.8
Never in a million years would I be able to solve this without the cheat.
- ilovethegames · v1.1.8
I have been looking for something to replace my Myst obsession and so far this is doing a pretty good job of it! Keep up the good work! You keep making them, I’ll keep playing them! -Stephen
- Fusion-bass · v1.1.7
The first chapter was very good, Going to start chapter two and I hope is as good or better than the first one.
- Cesgan · v1.1.7
Different than the average hidden object adventure/mystery game, but challenging and very enjoyable! Wish there was a map to move around more easily.
- MagooMac · v1.1.7
I’ve really enjoyed all the games in this series. I recommend starting with the Prologue — especially since it’s free, so you can try it before you buy it. The chapters are very consistent in quality, play, and feel. Mood and atmosphere are really cool, with good visuals and sound. Very well done for such a small team. Great value for low cost. Highly recommended.
- MykullT · v1.1.7
I had CC a great time being frustrated by this game. The puzzles were unique and interesting to solve.
- Leeshann · v1.1.7
It’s been so long since I’ve found a quality game. Not sure if they’re all on arcade now, but this game was super enjoyable. Great graphics, soundtrack and the puzzles reminded me a little of the room, but way more challenging. There’s an option to get hints or help with some of the puzzles. Without that, I’d still be on chapter 1😂 thanks again for a great game!
- Medickep@me · v1.1.7
What a great game. It wasn’t too difficult or Easy, it was just right. I did have to use the hint button at the end bc *****SPOILER ALERT**** after putting the key, gear & fuel in, it told me I need more fuel when I actually didn’t. When I used the hint button & it told me the train would start now. When I went back to the train, it did start. Besides that, I managed to complete the game. If you loved The Room series , you should enjoy this game too. Now on to Chapter 2.
- Kimba108 · v1.1.7
This has been my favorite mobile game I’ve ever played. I played all four chapters and I plan on playing through them all again real soon. Worth every penny. Would’ve paid more to be honest, it’s just so good. Challenging but not impossible and the art is stunning. Can’t wait for Aurora Hills!
- silksquash · v1.1.7
Fun. Do it on hard mode. Lovely smart game.
- srlinlosangeles · v1.1.7
Yes it’s a classic “seek and tap” reminiscent of the early Myst games, but the story is entertaining and not too hard to solve the puzzles if you’re on the normal setting. Just tough and fun enough to keep you looking. And just when you think the chapter is over… a plot twist. The hints and prompts will help keep you from getting really frustrated if you need them. You want a bigger challenge? Turn off hints and prompts… have fun and good luck. Of course there is always a good “walkthrough” somewhere on the internet if you really get stuck, but save that as a last resort. It’s drawn with the artistry of a good graphic novel with enough detail to set the scene and not look like a cartoon. That really helps to spur the imagination to fill in the blanks. Audio sets the mood with a light soundtrack that is well balanced, airy and doesn’t get in the way of the sound effects. All in all it’s a game well built by its creators and worth the few dollars spent per chapter for their efforts. Pro tip: Use your earbuds and play on a tablet with a stylus if you can. “Spoiler Alert” beware the cliffhanger. ‘Nuf said. 😺

I play a lot of similar games. This one has been really great so far. This one was more fun than the prologue, too. 🙂
- CodyCat7 · v1.1.7
Come on. Not enough game for money Played an hour now need chapter 2 Which costs more Then sure after short time need to purchase chapter 3 at even higher cost Why not sell all chapters in bundles?
- cuzinjohnny · v1.1.7
This was a good game until chapter 2. Impossible to figure out what to do without always hitting the clue button. No indication within the game as to what is going on. The garage door puzzle was completed correctly once I took a clue and found a most obscure resolution. Then when I set the levers, nothing happened. I had to go into the clue and get it to solve the puzzle, in the exact way I had, and then the garage door opened. I’m done. I don’t care how it works out, this was not fun, but a waste of $3.
- Bugslife9 · v1.1.7
Soooo good 2nd time thru! Tough puzzles but not too hard to make me crabby; gorgeous environments; hints/skips available is key! Playing the series again, very excited for their next big game…
- becks3982 · v1.1.7
I’ve played through all three chapters now, and I can easily say that this is hands down the best escape room app I’ve ever played. The graphics and music are beautiful, the storyline is really interesting, and the puzzles are the perfect balance between challenging and intuitive. Love that you can play with or without hints. Worth every penny and more, and I hope the developer comes out with more. Wonderful game!!!
- grispiritfarer · v1.1.7
This game is derivative of Glitch games and not nearly as fun to play. The camera does not let you put a picture up when trying to solve a puzzle which is annoying. The puzzles themselves can be frustrating, mostly because it can be easy to miss some important items. Instead of getting hooked and wanting to figure out the next puzzle, I am finding myself putting my phone down, which I suppose in a way is better for me anyway...
- Jjwrenner · v1.1.6
The graphics are detailed and well-made providing a good experience. The puzzles and clues are hard enough for some challenge but not too hard that you have to go for the tips a lot. But the tips are also clear and helpful. Over all great game and worth the $.
- Enauman · v1.1.6
I’ve ventured through dozens of adventure puzzle games for the last 20 years. This one challenges you without being over the top hard. The graphics are great along with the storyline and clues. Overall great game and very enjoyable.
- chip@1234 · v1.1.6
I had played every “the room” and “house of davinci” games and took a chance on this. It was pretty cheap so why not? I’m glad I did because I’ve had a lot of fun playing. at the time of this review I have just finished playing through chapter 2 and bought chapter 3 just now. If you liked those first two games I mentioned then you should enjoy this game!
- G Murph · v1.1.6
Love it
- Ahfkfi · v1.1.6
Some puzzle were definitely a big leap on getting an answer
- Jbenk7 · v1.1.6
This is a good game with great graphics. For the most part, the puzzles are pretty good. You will need to explore everything to get clues and parts. Some puzzles are not very intuitive or easy to find the clues, but you can skip or get better clues to solve most. Good story line though.
- HottVett · v1.1.5
This is by far the best escape style game I’ve ever played. I would pay more if I had to so you more than get your $2 worth with this game. You don’t have to pay extra for hints and the puzzles aren’t so hard that without some thinking you can’t figure out. It’s great that you get the option to choose between normal and hard so all around great game!
- jlas- · v1.1.5
These puzzle games are no better than the actual puzzles themselves. Hard, not impossible. Clever, not frustrating. This game is there in the middle of the spectrum. It was fun!! I did need help on 2 or 3 of the puzzles, but at least afterwards, I could understand why I wasn’t getting it. One game was so out of the box confusing that even after I saw the answer, I realized I never would have figured it out. Here, it took awhile for me to get used to not being able to pan around like other games but not a problem.
- MCTJR T · v1.1.5
I don’t use hints and I put settings on ‘difficult’ I worked on it for weeks and I was sad when it ended…so glad there is Chapter 2. Wow! big improvement’s from the Prologue. It seems like puzzles were more well-developed, tested with more types of users maybe? Beautiful graphics, sound, and amazing details! Even though the puzzles are hard, they make sense when you figure them out (except for the wall safe in the basement 🤷♀️ That was the only one I had to do a walk-through for and it really still didn’t make sense). There is so much variety in the puzzles. Very smooth moving from room, the map helped me make sense of it when I got disoriented or “lost” in the tunnels. I like Meridian 157 because it seems like it could be a real life place/situation, not a fantasy or sci-fi adventure. I don’t usually replay games but I did, and second time playing it took a couple hours instead of a couple weeks! On to Chapter 2.
- ComfyWine Rock · v1.1.5
This is a very good idea for a game story theme it never gets boring it just keeps on making you glued to your seat trying to figure out where do I need to go from here! And for a game that I play on my iPad it can’t get any better but it does and sometimes I get stuck and it takes awhile to figure out which of my brain cells I need to use to understand the puzzle that I’m on at the time of game play but eventually I get going again and thoroughly can’t wait for the next adventure.✌️
- H.Spraugh · v1.1.5
I like this game and it’s very similar to games made by Glitch Games. 1 star less because some puzzles don’t make sense. But fortunately the hints (most of the time) are really good and helpful in getting you by so you don’t have to look outside the app for answer. The story is interesting and it makes me wanting to get going. Also the puzzles are variety and non-repetitive which is good and non-boring. Overall it’s an enjoyable game. Note: After playing for a while I realized this is not the beginning of the story/game. You need to download and play “157 Prologue” first (a short intro game) before continuing on this game which “157 Chapter 1”. So confusing.
- SkyCoffeeTime · v1.1.5
For the most part I truly enjoyed the game. The graphics were nicely done and the tone of the story was pleasantly mysterious. My least favorite parts were the “spatial reasoning puzzles” where parts have to be put in the right order to make things function. They have nothing to do with moving the story along nor do they have any connection to the problem at hand, just filler that eats up some time and makes the game play out longer. To me, they are tedious and the most silly part of this kind of puzzle game. If I want that kind of boring crap I’ll play a rousing game of Sudoku. I feel like I’m getting short-changed paying for an escape game that is fraught with tiresome filler. I’ll probably get the next game in the series (with lowered expectations) but will most likely take the shortcut around the banal “shuffle the pieces” segments. Nice game, but you can do better.
- Lonzo684 · v1.1.3
First, let me say I very rarely write reviews, but this game deserves one. I am an old geaser from the days of text based escape room games like Zork, and the early graphical interactive fiction such as Leather Goddesses from Phobos, Leisure Suit Larry, and Freddy Pharkas. Of course the best comparison is to Myst, one of my all time favorites. Meridian 157 is on pare with Myst, with excellent puzzles and graphics. Kudos to the developers! I have to admit some of the logic behind some of the puzzles escapes me, but I am an old geaser after all! Getting ready for Chapter 2…
- Nytebyter · v1.1.3
I’m a huge fan of the Room series. This series is just increasingly frustrating. Not that it is difficult but that that it just doesn’t make sense. I got stumped and my favorite walkthrough was irritated and gave up. Big no from mr for both chapters
