Metal Slug: Awakening

genuinely one of the worst games I actually wanted to keep playing. and after a year N 1/2, only got worse. and especially If your not consistently spending at least 20$ a week, it's jus gonna go downhill fast... sadly, cause ultimately could be such an awesome game, but very consistently relies very heavily on the consumer and them spending wild amounts of $ every week or so... so if your not ready to put a few grand each month into a phone game, prolly isn't the game for you

i was really enjoying this game until all of a sudden it "promoted" me from level 24 to level 210 and auto completed all of the in-game content i was enjoying working through. Really took the fun of of it to see the game just finish itself for no reason.

This game is pretty good despite of how the game runs, the graphics are perfect, the voices are perfect, almost is perfect but there are two thing's that I dislike 1: The characters, if you play all of the classic metal slug games you'll probably know some of them but there are some characters that doesn't feel like metal slug unless its either characters from other games from SNK 2: The Servers, the servers are good but there's a point where you need the boost which kinda ruins the fun (for me)

I don't get how AI and (dis_cord) influencers constantly keep pretending how fine simplified controls are, as long as controls are unprecise as hell on games like this? The game might have been fun, we will just never find out. Because CONTROL TESTING has to be done (by humans) BEFORE RELEASE, not by (human) players AFTER LAUNCH! It's the lacking of basic standards like these that earns games low ratings, no censorship and mass-spamming of AI (drone) reviews does change that fact!

I love the game, but native gamepad support on Android is a major missing feature for me. Playing with physical controls would significantly improve the experience. Please consider adding this in a future update!

it's buggy. it lags. it losing connection randomly. but regardless. I actually enjoy it. :D wish it didnt have those issues tho. another issue i have is the story. after you take the forced upgrade. the story just stops. like it's skipping everything. i enjoy playing the story so yall should definitely patch that

It's good. Love the music and nostalgia. BUT ***8GB+*** for a side scrolling platform has got to be a record of some kind. How about a Metal Slug LITE for the gamers that have phones already loaded with other games or the ones of us who refuse to buy a new phone every 6 months for more space? It is a good game though, and unfortunately not a lot of people are going to play it, or keep it installed very long. Except for the file size, good job to the Devs.

This game has always been one of my favorites. I do miss the Neo Geo! I do miss the 90's! Metal Slug is one of the very best shooters ever developed! I can't believe I'm playing this game on a phone. SNK, I didn't see that one coming! The fun factor has always been a 10! The graphics have always been a 10! The storyline has always been a 10! This game is no exception! Metal Slug Awakening is a perfect shooter! This game looks awesome, plays great! It is FUN!

Really fun time until the game forces you to level boost from 22 to 190. I now have this super team that I didn't earn, and the story is busted. The story mode and other modes like Joint Operation think I've finished them but I haven't. So I still need to go through the story to unlock other stuff but because I'm now so high level, none of the dialogue plays anymore. Utterly baffling decision I hope was a bug. Let players opt out of level boosting. Level boosting sucks!
