A story-driven detective game
Time doesn’t stop for justice. In Mindcop, you step into the shoes of a detective with only 5 days to crack the case. Every action you take costs time: investigate too slowly, and the criminal walks free. A gripping narrative: Uncover a thrilling crime story filled with rich characters, hidden motives, and dramatic twists. Every conversation reveals more about who to trust… and who to fear. True detective gameplay: - Investigate crime scenes: search for clues and connect the dots. - Interrogate suspects: push them to confess, uncover lies, or mislead you. - Enter their minds: dive deep into thoughts and emotions with the unique Mindsurf mechanic. - Beat the clock: every choice consumes time, every minute matters. Stylish noir presentation: A distinctive hand-drawn art style, expressive animations, and a tense soundtrack create an immersive and addictive atmosphere. Will you rely on logic, intuition, or manipulation to uncover the truth? The answers lie in their minds… if you dare to go inside. Mindcop is the work of solo game developer Andre Gareis.

This is the most fun I've had playing a mobile game in years! I've played through 4-5 times and each time there were new things to find, even after catching the murderer. I'm hoping there will be a second Mindcop!

I gave this five stars despite it not being what I hoped for. I like the animation and Mindcop's mannerisms. The mini game for getting into someone's mind is a cool idea. The story is fun and figuring out the killer is more challenging than I thought. I was hoping it was going to be more of a series of investigations, rather than one larger investigation, though.

The game constantly crashes. Every time I try to mind surf or interrogate someone, the app will close. This is the first game in the app store that has done this, which sucks because the game is really interesting and creative.

One of the best detective games I've played in a while. The game is an intense dark noire that explores lots of relational conflict. It's very sad and even a little triggering. Well done. I cannot give this 5 stars because it routinely needed to be restarted to clear out bugs. Also, I beat it on the first playthrough by arresting the correct person, but I wasn't able to articulate why they did it at all. The game should maybe require you to know these things before handing you the win.

I don't leave reviews very often, but I had to come and rant about how great I think this game is. I fancy myself somewhat of an escape/ mystery/ point and click connoisseur and this game easily checked all of the boxes for graphics, music, voice acting, mechanics and storyline. My only critique is because the gameplay is so open-ended I wish there had been a little bit of a hint system and that the items were easier to click during inspect mode.
- Crystal Thompson · v1.4.4
A very good mystery solving game with unique and interesting characters. The mystery is very difficult and I only caught the killer the second time through while taking notes (in fact, I think this game is meant to be played more than once). I hope there is a sequel!

laggy a bit

Great game

Love the game, love the dialogue. I laughed out loud a few times, and that's saying something. very buggy though as one would expect upon just releasing on a new platform. Controls are frustrating with Linda always in the way. Knocking on Josh's door causes an endless loop of knocking and nothing else. Sometimes game will freeze during questioning.
