Start with one of the others -patterns repeat in these puzzles and that takes away the challenge. also you cannot try the harder puzzles before completing the easy ones.

The app functions just as smoothly as all the other Goya CTC apps, but the only miracles to be found here require you to have never heard of roping, otherwise you will be frustrated by how boring the puzzles become.

App is nice and some puzzles are very good - unfortunately too many of those puzzles are just permutations of the same three triplets, so much that at a certain point you can just ignore the rules and use that unwritten rule to solve it. That kind of ruins it tbh.

I really liked doing these, until I realized that almost all of them are just variants of a handful of patterns. I'd be at it, having fun trying to solve a tricky one, only to notice the pattern and then just filling in the entirety with ease and disappointment. Kinda feels like the veil has been pulled back, and the magic has gone. Still, I've spend a *lot* of time in this app, and had a lot of fun. Great app. The latest UI is a bit wonky, but not as horrible as the reviews indicate.

App was recently updated to the current UI from the CtC app. Absolutely lovely. I've tried a lot of sudoku apps and this UI is my personal favorite. They've also got handwritten hints for each of the puzzles which is great for learning. I've finished all the puzzles once now, cleared my save data and I'm working towards doing it again. Well worth the dosh for a quality app with no ads.

Absolutely horrendous UI changes in the latest update. Everything has been squeezed into bottom even though there's tonnes of empty space at the top. Situational buttons that were hidden are now always on show taking up unnecessary room. Default layout is now a numpad, with the "traditional" layout now a setting hidden in a menu. Please revert to the old intuitive layout.

I was having a fantastic time, but just yesterday the app crashes every time I attempt to open it, and it's about enough crash that it basically takes my entire phone out of commission for 3 minutes as I try to close out of the app. I'm extremely disappointed in this as it was when my favorite sudoku apps, if it can get fixed I would greatly appreciate it!

Once you figure out the "roping" pattern that each puzzle has, it makes them very elementary to solve. And, like the other puzzles the "hints" are cheats. It tells you what numbers go where without explaining why.

It's a fun app with a good selection of puzzles. The only thing I find annoying is that number sequences often repeat in the puzzles, which makes them easy to solve once you know which number sequence to look for.

Clever and engaging twists on the rules of sudoku make it hard to go back to standard sudoku puzzles after clearing all of them. Hint system acts as micro tutorial for how to think through the problems logically, and the interface is effective and clean. I wish puzzles kept second best time info so I can see how much I've improved since last time. Would also be nice to be able to reset progress. And of course, more puzzles please 🙏🥳

The engine is solid, but it turns out that non-consecutive sudoku gets old pretty quick, once you realize that most of the grids fit a very conspicuous pattern. I just can't see myself playing through hundreds of these very similar puzzles.

Decent set of puzzles but broken promises. "Regular updates" and 100 puzzles within 1st year after launch... Well it launch Aug 20, 2020 and it is now Feb 24, 2022 and only 80 puzzles released.

Definitely my favorite Sudoku app from cracking the cryptic. I wanted to do a couple of puzzles before I reviewed. They can be quite difficult but are really satisfying to complete. There's like 80 puzzles rn so tons of material. One review said the first two were too similar. They're literally the easiest to puzzles. They get harder as you go. (I honestly think he couldn't figure out the third one so he made a bad review. It's difficult.) Only similarity is a consecutive restraint. 20/10

The puzzles are all great. The problem comes with the hints that the app gives you if you get stumped. They're clear enough, but they don't take into account what you have already deduced, and they'll give you the same hint multiple times, regardless of if you've marked it. Incredibly annoying, especially once you get into more advanced puzzles and really need a new step in the right direction.

I have only played the first 2 but in each of them they use the same 3 number set in each row and column of each box for example 962 will be grouped together and so will 863 I dont know if that makes sense or not

A really nice collection of puzzles, and while I would have given it more stars, a simple Android update wiped all my progress on all Goia Studio sudoku games and there is no response to be had from developers. Only play this if you are willing to do all simple puzzles over again

The puzzles are great, but there are only a few dozen, and only a few are miracle. Also it's very annoying how multi-select will pen answers in if you've only selected one square, and that there's no button to quickly de-select all.
