I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw the ads for this game I was under the impression that it was just another AI created ad... boy was I wrong. I'm so glad I gave it the benefit of the doubt because this is now one of my favorite games that I play!

Chibi style world map, intricate town and character customization, lightning fast action, and a compelling and eerie, cosmic horror meets romance novel story with excellent art design. Paranoize is a clever and complex fusion of gaming mechanics, and anime/manga sensibilities. While it will take some time to get used to the layers of gaming, such as leveling up, and world building, the engrossing plot and well developed cast is worth the grinding.

Fantastic game - great story and incredibly polished. Having played the game a few months now there do seem to be a feature that would make a big difference for the user experience: A one off or purchasable complete reset for a character. Levels, memory fragments, evolution materials etc. It's very common for individuals not to draw a decent character to invest in early on and they end up having to invest a lot of materials into subpar characters early on.

Not every guild, but a lot of the guilds, regardless of server, are quite toxic. Guilds are quick to attack or even wipe you off the map just for "the fun of the game," and then will mock you for very reasonably becoming upset. It's frustrating, and it brings down the overall quality of the game, because you can't just relax and enjoy it anymore. Don't play this if you suffer from any form of depression or bad thoughts; this game will only make it worse.

For what it is, a simplistic idle game, based on an in-game web comic, the game is fine. The game is very geared to those with endless pockets to support the game. Those players tend to make their own guilds and compete in GvG. If you play this, then take it with a chill mindset. It's about slowly (and I mean slowly) building a single unit over 4-5 months, then doing it again. If that doesn't appeal to you as a F2P, then find something else.

this game is great, I play it everyday and the story is high value production, voice acting is incredible. and story gets you hooked if you love anime and good phase. I have request for future updates. please make the fighting more strategic, give the players the opportunity to mark who they attack, it will give tactical advantage. or make the attackers attack the strongest player first. one can lose a match because strongest member never gets attacked

Great art, visual novel, and music. However, it has rather weak gameplay. Other than making the numbers go bigger, the most depth is deciding how to arrange your front & reserve squads. Primarily deciding the lineup and turn priority for your poison, sleep, stunners, cannon fodder, healers, and sweepers. Will continue to play occasionally for the visual novel.

yet another fake ad. the ad looked interesting, while the app is just another pretween anime with chapters locked behind progression in a clone of a game that won't be completed for over a year without spending money. the story is ok but written for a juvenile audience so it's rather one dimensional and bland; it's not a bad story, just juvenile. uninstalling.

This is the worst game in human history. there is a "1%" chance to summon an ssr, and I just did 30 10 summons. 300 summons. and the pity system does not exist. you only get to suffer. this isn't the first time I saved up and spent a ton, but this is the last. im sorry to those who I've fought beside, but this game killed me.

it has a good story but that's all it has. They might have been better off just making an anime. no real reason to play the game outside of the story. progression is extremely slow and difficult without whaling. I don't mind spending money but the pacing and game play is just too bad to justify it. a shame because the story is good.

Honestly, I was at 5 stars before but because of something I have recently come to notice, I am dropping it to 4. the game and story are still 5 stat, very good, but the gacha system is one of the worst I have seen. The summon rate is already lower on banners compared to a lot of other nachos, but the pity, 500. like really?!?! I dropped hundreds of summons, some from saving up, most from paying some money. I am over 250 pity and would need to drop 500+ dollars for just 1 copy of a chapter. BAD!

alright, hear me out. the actual *game* portion of Paranoize stinks. It's a below average idle battler/base builder/dungeon fighter, with the worst SSR character pull rates and gem bundle prices ever seen. Nothing about this game is enjoyable. But the visual novel portion of the game keeps pulling me in. I will never spend money on this game, because all I'll probably get are a bunch of Rs and an SSR support memory, but i will play just enough to keep watching the story unfold.

the story itself is nice but the gacha is among the worst I've ever seen. Pity is like 500 pulls and they split paid gems with gameplay gems meaning some banners require real money. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Honestly, an egregious cash grabm it's getting good reviews because of the story but the game attached to it is absolutely terrible, there's no real gameplay and no decision making. The game plays itself trying to funnel you into spending. don't play this.

Was a 5 star. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY!!! If you spend money you will get nothing. When you contact the support team, they will claim you spent it all as soon as you made the purchase. Even if you avoided spending any like the plague until they responded. I made a hefty purchase and didn't get any free or paid gems from it. Contacted support. I did not spend a single gem, and support gets back to me saying I spent all the gems I got from the purchase already.

love this game but l, I have my major issues.... I get the feeling of a major pay-to-play aspect. past couple of episode releases I might have gotten 2-4 a piece? I just feel like there's more grind versus the Episcopal that we're here for. I want to love this app, I really do. But the fact that the story is locked behind the dungeon system is ridiculous. Not to mention the fact you can't make any significant progress at a decent rate without shelling out money. This is definitely one of those times where I wouldn't mind the option to watch an ad to make some progress. This 1 star rating will remain until the ridiculous difficulty curve is dealt with or they stop locking the story behind the dungeon system.

The good story drives this game, but. once you catch up, it's kinda boring. Gameplay heavily unbalanaced, not F2P friendly, barely Whale friendly. It heavily relies on SSR units but terrible drop rates (~0.05-0.1%) with no pity (cuz unusable memories). And resources too scarce to waste on lesser units. So instead of slow progression, you just hit a wall at certain levels and hoard resources while praying for an ssr. Also pretty sure base stat boosts arent working.

This is way different than any other games I have played. It's oddly satisfying, this is one of the first games that I actually like the storyline, which is very RARE. If you are into Anime, this is the game for you. I'm not into anime that much, I do like my Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z and that is about it. I'm 50 years old and I am enjoying the game as an Anime fan. Nice job to the creators. Graphics could be a little bit better for the game playing part, but so far so good, I love the story

The game aspect is a after thought, The Manga part is enjoyable and quite good, it is sort of a Parasite rip-off but different enough to keep me wanting more, will make a good anime in the future hopefully. Your choice of character here means nothing. In terms of production, most of the budget went into the story, and barely anything went into the gameplay, just like Corpse Killer on Sega CD. The story is amazing , the characters super cool. the problem? unless you spend thousands, you can keep dreaming about getting getting strong characters. There is no guarantee after X number of draw to get one like 99% of gacha game , and the only way to get an ssr character is if you use "Paid" gems , which obviously, are expensive compared to other gacha game out there.

I thought that this was some kind of interactive, choose your own adventure comic, but it turns out to be a completely nonsensical AFK game, complete with daily tasks and awful summoning rates, but it's worse than the usual games, as I've no idea what's going on! I'll likely read as much of the story as is available and uninstall. Really falsely advertised! EDIT: Now uninstalled. I cannot recommend this - just watch anime or play a better AFK, which you prefer.

it's a decent narrative storyline. the art style is cool. the biggest problem is the economy of the app: they pad out their gatcha system with "memories" when you're supposed to be getting characters and the very low drop rate. that alone is enough to completely warn everyone away from buying paid currency in the app, it's just not worth it.
