I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw the ads for this game I was under the impression that it was just another AI created ad... boy was I wrong. I'm so glad I gave it the benefit of the doubt because this is now one of my favorite games that I play!

Chibi style world map, intricate town and character customization, lightning fast action, and a compelling and eerie, cosmic horror meets romance novel story with excellent art design. Paranoize is a clever and complex fusion of gaming mechanics, and anime/manga sensibilities. While it will take some time to get used to the layers of gaming, such as leveling up, and world building, the engrossing plot and well developed cast is worth the grinding.

Fantastic game - great story and incredibly polished. Having played the game a few months now there do seem to be a feature that would make a big difference for the user experience: A one off or purchasable complete reset for a character. Levels, memory fragments, evolution materials etc. It's very common for individuals not to draw a decent character to invest in early on and they end up having to invest a lot of materials into subpar characters early on.

Not every guild, but a lot of the guilds, regardless of server, are quite toxic. Guilds are quick to attack or even wipe you off the map just for "the fun of the game," and then will mock you for very reasonably becoming upset. It's frustrating, and it brings down the overall quality of the game, because you can't just relax and enjoy it anymore. Don't play this if you suffer from any form of depression or bad thoughts; this game will only make it worse.

For what it is, a simplistic idle game, based on an in-game web comic, the game is fine. The game is very geared to those with endless pockets to support the game. Those players tend to make their own guilds and compete in GvG. If you play this, then take it with a chill mindset. It's about slowly (and I mean slowly) building a single unit over 4-5 months, then doing it again. If that doesn't appeal to you as a F2P, then find something else.

Great art, visual novel, and music. However, it has rather weak gameplay. Other than making the numbers go bigger, the most depth is deciding how to arrange your front & reserve squads. Primarily deciding the lineup and turn priority for your poison, sleep, stunners, cannon fodder, healers, and sweepers. Will continue to play occasionally for the visual novel.

This is the worst game in human history. there is a "1%" chance to summon an ssr, and I just did 30 10 summons. 300 summons. and the pity system does not exist. you only get to suffer. this isn't the first time I saved up and spent a ton, but this is the last. im sorry to those who I've fought beside, but this game killed me.

They might have been better off just making an anime. no real reason to play the game outside of the story. progression is extremely slow and difficult without whaling. Honestly, I was at 5 stars before but because of something I have recently come to notice, I am dropping it to 4. the game and story are still 5 stat, very good, but the gacha system is one of the worst I have seen. The summon rate is already lower on banners compared to a lot of other nachos, but the pity, 500. like really?!?! I dropped hundreds of summons, some from saving up, most from paying some money. I am over 250 pity and would need to drop 500+ dollars for just 1 copy of a chapter. BAD!

alright, hear me out. the actual *game* portion of Paranoize stinks. It's a below average idle battler/base builder/dungeon fighter, with the worst SSR character pull rates and gem bundle prices ever seen. Nothing about this game is enjoyable. But the visual novel portion of the game keeps pulling me in. I will never spend money on this game, because all I'll probably get are a bunch of Rs and an SSR support memory, but i will play just enough to keep watching the story unfold.

the story itself is nice but the gacha is among the worst I've ever seen. Pity is like 500 pulls and they split paid gems with gameplay gems meaning some banners require real money. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. love this game but l, I have my major issues.... I get the feeling of a major pay-to-play aspect. past couple of episode releases I might have gotten 2-4 a piece? I just feel like there's more grind versus the Episcopal that we're here for. I want to love this app, I really do. But the fact that the story is locked behind the dungeon system is ridiculous. Not to mention the fact you can't make any significant progress at a decent rate without shelling out money. This is definitely one of those times where I wouldn't mind the option to watch an ad to make some progress. This 1 star rating will remain until the ridiculous difficulty curve is dealt with or they stop locking the story behind the dungeon system.

The good story drives this game, but. once you catch up, it's kinda boring. Gameplay heavily unbalanaced, not F2P friendly, barely Whale friendly. It heavily relies on SSR units but terrible drop rates (~0.05-0.1%) with no pity (cuz unusable memories). And resources too scarce to waste on lesser units. So instead of slow progression, you just hit a wall at certain levels and hoard resources while praying for an ssr. Also pretty sure base stat boosts arent working.

This is way different than any other games I have played. It's oddly satisfying, this is one of the first games that I actually like the storyline, which is very RARE. If you are into Anime, this is the game for you. I'm not into anime that much, I do like my Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z and that is about it. I'm 50 years old and I am enjoying the game as an Anime fan. Nice job to the creators. Graphics could be a little bit better for the game playing part, but so far so good, I love the story

I love the story! Very engaging, wish there was more episodes and that the episodes were longer. The voice actors are doing a great job. Now game play is pretty simplistic, I wish there was a little more to do when building your town besides just holding down the "buy" Button. The story of this is incredible, as are the videos. Even the gameplay, while uninspired is serviceable. The real problem is its monetization strategy. They aren't looking for a good player base to drop 10-20 dollars a month -- they are looking for a few whales to drop their rent for the month. Everything is way overpriced and progress becomes a crawl even if you're willing to spend $20-30 a month playing.

Congratulations on getting amazing voice acting for your game. Because that's only thing really worthy of note. The rest is a money grab, a time stealing Gacha game with bland as hell combat. I saw the ad, and tried the game out. Thinking "Oh, maybe it's a branching storyline where you as a detective pick out specific elements",Much like how the Ad suggested, what's wrong here and make an assessment of what's wrong. Go from there, like L.A. Noire in a way. Instead it's of the many bland gachas.

I really want to like this game. The UI is slick, the idea to combine a gacha game with a web comic (fully voiced in ENG!) is super cool, but the gacha system and currency situation is just horrendous. In-game currency used for summons (gems) is awarded largely based on RNG. What's even worse is that they made the awful decision to have separate banners for paid vs. unpaid gems. And setting hard-pity at a massive 500 summons that DOESN'T carry over between banners was certainly a choice.

I tried it.....Story is good but that is all there is to it. I was able to complete all the 24 chapters available at the time for a character in 2 days and then had to wait for 1 month to get next 2 chapters of the story. Those got completed within half an hour. Now, again have to wait for another month for more chapters. Yeah.....not happening. Playing a game with an incompleted story is a Big No for me. Well, have to update the review. Yeah, amount of new chapters is ridiculous. But, devs do their job. My phone went to a Brick mode (was in Android Beta program) so i lost access to my account. After Hard reset i also lost recovery code. Mailed devs,restored within 12 hours. But i still think that chat system is horrible

Comic is good enough. Voice acting is fine, at best. My real issue is that the ads that pulled me in are deceptive as heck. Made it look like a "spot what's wrong with this picture" spooky kind of thing, but it's just an idle combat and base building game. That's the only actual "gameplay" party of this "game." If you want a gatcha game with auto-battling and base building centered around a good comic, enjoy. If you're here to puzzle out what's wrong with some pictures, just keep scrolling.

The manga part is awesome but I May uninstall it because honestly the devs you are WAY too stingy!! The game part sucks as ftp it's tiny increments of growth over weeks of daily play! As I said the manga is great but there is NO game here! Stuck at LV71 for over a month with playing Every day! Have held on with very small amounts of growth over months of daily play but the awesome episodes don't come often enough to keep me playing.... UNINSTALLED!!

Okay, so the story is awesome, seriously the best part and I'll keep playing for that. However, the gameplay makes no sense, doesn't apply to the story at all, the gems and paid for stuff is WAY over priced I mean $100 dollars for 10 summons? Ridiculous. There is also, simply not enough to do and it becomes IMPOSSIBLE to free to play very early on without severely reducing the frequency of following the story.

The RPG element to the game is mediocre at best, however, the comic that is locked behind milestones and release dates is an incredible and addicting story. it's just a shame that so few episodes are released at a time, it could result in many players disconnecting from staying around or just losing patience. More episodes more often would be much more engagement assuring.

It is, put simply, below industry standard in terms of gacha. 500 for pity was the standard a decade ago, and character and memory banners are merged, which is also below standard, when considering how high the pity is. Further, the gameplay itself is rather bland, being effectively just another auto fighter game, when combined with having to sit through the entire video to get rewards for the story, progression is a slog, and they aren't generous with pulls despite the subpar pity.

FORCED AUDIBLE DIALOGUE IS EASY TO LONG. IT'S NOT A CUT SCENE AS MUCH AS FORCED TIME IN WHICH NOBODY CAN PLAY THIS GAME. THIS GAME IS DISGUSTING AND A COPYPASTE OF ANOTHER DARK THEMED GAME AND THE CHARACTERS ARE ALL THE SAME. IT'S CALLED ETERNIGHTS. EVERYTHING IS THE SAME, HOWEVER THE 'CUTSCENES' AREN'T NEARLY AS BAD!
