PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid's Curse A brand new PARANORMASIGHT tale begins in Ise-Shima, Japan - a region rich in mermaid legends. Story: The remote island of Kameshima sits nestled in Ise bay. Yuza Minakuchi is a young pearl diver who lives on the island and spends his days underwater gathering, together with his best friend Azami Kumoi. After he has a bewildering supernatural experience encountering another version of himself on the ocean floor, a series of curses start to befall the island... A girl of unknown origins, a treasure hunter from a foreign land and a mysterious housewife investigating a drowning. Paths cross and destinies collide as they come closer to the secret of the Mermaids of Ise, a legend that has been obscured by the fog of history for so long. If you liked the first game, though the genre is a bit different, you'll love this one. The story, the puzzles, the twists and all are top tier. Hell, even if you didn't play the first one you may still like this one. strong recommend to VN fans and mystery/horror fans alike.

im so glad paranormasight came out with a sequel and hope this means theres more games to come! This world keeps expanding and building with new and fun mechanics. definitely a bit mire difficult than the last game but i love the game doesnt hold your hand and actually have to pay attention. 10/10

Really good mystery/story, I definitely could've taken longer to chew on this but I couldn't stand to slow down. Its a joy to read and they do a fantastic job feeding you foreshadowing to make you feel like a genius for spotting the twists coming. This won't spoil you for the first Paranormasight, but go play that one too anyway because they're both excellent.

Great if you loved the original. Slightly more interactive elements and mini games than Hanjo had. Might not be as scary, in terms of jump scares, as the first game, but there's definitely a creeping sense of dread present throughout. I'd call this the Midsomar to the first game's Hereditary. More "daylight horror" than anything else. Gripping story, fun ensemble, some minor references to the past game, and great music. I'd recommend, for sure. Plays great with touch controls, too.
