Fun But not affordable

This game is just a cash grab. If you don’t spend on a pass you are drowning in ads and playing at a snails pace. Such a fun game but not sustainable. Just let me buy the game to get rid of ads permanently. I’m not taking a loan out for an app.

WAY too many ads

Good, enjoyable game play, ruined by ads. I probably get about a minute of game play for every 2-3 minutes of ads I have to watch. Not worth it, even though the game itself is engaging, or would be if I could play for more than a minute or two without being interrupted.

Decent game but lot of glitches

Game has decent premise. But game expects players to dish out a lot in cash to make game somewhat playable. Commercials often hang. Frustrating to wait 3-4 minutes not knowing if it is hung up or not, clicking various things hoping not to restart game. Playability is greatly hindered by ads coming up at inappropriate times during play. Though at least these are typically short commercials of 10-15 seconds. Problem is it frequently happens when using a skill and either moves the skill location or shuts the skill back to off position. (Fortunately this happens when receiving a new choice, thus you can reselect skill and place before choosing new item. ) Greatly frustrating that it gives 3 choices. Often with only 1 viable option. I.e.-twisting tiles that won’t fit in barriers. To frustrate players even more, the refresh about 10% of the time gives EXACTLY the same choices. One would think developers would refresh with 3 new options, but that only happens about 40% of the time. Also, they seem to love giving long path weapons only when the only place to put them is a single tile area. When you actually have a path, don’t expect such weapons to come up even after multiple refresh. Forces player to set weapons near road, base, or obstacles. While in some ways this is good, it greatly hinders setting up certain weapons in an optimal position. Absolutely hate having RiftWalker as a boss (takes out towers.) If known in advance, you can set up where he only takes out one tower. But in too many missions, you have at best a 1 turn heads up often resulting in the loss of 2 or even 3 towers.) Do like the feature that tells boss type, and % of each type of enemy at start of campaign missions. Clans are perhaps the games best feature. Clan wars are easy. Gifting in clans allows growth.

I quote the game. It has a lot of layers of complexity that are not obvious at first glance. I made one 99 cent purchase and now I don’t need to watch ads. The only problem is it eats my battery.

The game is a lot of fun. And I don’t mind spending $3, $5 or even $10 on something game, that would help me be more successful or have more fun, but there’s no way in hell I’m spending $25 for something or $50. Note to the owners of this game; death by 1000 cuts would bring in more money as many of us have no problems spending two or three or five dollars throughout the week, but we will not spend large chunks of cash

This is a great game and it is very addictive. However, they have way too many ads. Also the ads interrupt your playtime right in the middle of a mission. There’s been time where the ads crushed and lost the game. I don’t think it’s worth it anymore and I’m uninstalling it.

Nice idea, needs work; zero support

Some cool ideas in this tower defense game, but it needs a bit of work. First off, the screen jumps and zooms to where it thinks you will place towers, which translates into extra taps and drags in the middle of a wave, often when they’re most intrusive. The game requires a LOT of grinding, unless you want to pay a LOT of real money to advance faster. But my biggest complaint is that you are completely at the mercy of what pieces the game offers you as you progress through a level. Sometimes it gives you the towers or road segments you need, most times it doesn’t. You could have a level that’s heavy on flying enemies and get no air defense towers, even if you have them in your battle deck. You may need to extend the road to add more towers and get no road segments, or get only road segments when you need to add or upgrade towers. That can get very frustrating. Another big issue I have is getting no response from submitting support requests. I have questions that I’m getting conflicting answers from Google, but can’t get a response from support. In fact there’s very little information anywhere on strategies and other aspects of the game that would be helpful. I’ll keep playing it while it’s mostly fun, but I think at some point the frustration will outweigh the slow pace of advancement and it will end up in the trash can.

Unplayable because of ads

The title says it all, but I’ll break it down in the review. This IS a fun Tower Defense game. It’s challenging enough to keep you engaged, and has the feel of other games I’ve played. But the ads… I get it, f2p games live off ads. If you get anything for free on the internet, you are the tradable commodity. You are how the game developer makes money, whether through in-game purchases, or data harvesting to sell, or ads viewed and clicked on. The game is truly unplayable because of the ads. It didn’t start that way, so there’s either an update or a switch once you’ve advanced so far. But the gameplay will be literally interrupted in the middle of a round just to show you a dumb temu (or other) ad. Completely throws off the game’s rhythm and your ability to react. It’s like when sports teams on defense get the clock stopped so the offense gets disrupted. It’s beyond annoying. Additionally, the ads are already a minute long or longer generally. I’ve literally seen an ad completely play itself twice. And then, after you sit through the pointless minute long ad, there’s anywhere from 3-5 taps to exit all of the ad’s popups/new browser’s opening and get back to the game. I totally get watching an ad for an extra life/turn. For an extra chest/in-game currency. This makes sense and is acceptable. But the developers know what they’re doing. They’re completely complicit. Rather than watching or exiting mid-game ads, I’ll close and reopen the game. When doing so once, I was met with a loading screen that said “Tired of interstitial ads? Enjoy an uninterrupted experience by purchasing any offer from the shop!” They know what they’re doing. They don’t care about your gaming experience. Stop supporting companies like this.

Glitchy and frustrating

Tired of game glitches that make me loose my last placed tower even though it moves onto the next wave. Also the random upgrades are extremely frustrating, I could go through 30 waves without seeing a option for a certain weapon available even once

Good game but has issues

Overall its a pretty good game and a great concept. The issue is that 1. The ads consistently cant be watched for rewards in a game that makes it clear you need the boosts 2. The ‘random’ upgrades consistently seem to know what you need so you cant have it ie : constantly offering rhe 1 tile corners, until the one time i need it and i dont get it offered over 30 ways and 7 rerolls 3. Even if you’re willing to shill some cash, most buys are the price of a full indie game and/or subscriptions

Don’t play for rewards

This game is a pretty fun TD game. So if you like that it’s pretty good. However, if you downloaded this game for rewards on another app beware. I grinded away to get to level 30 because the payout was worth the time. Then it didn’t pay. Both apps blame the other. So just beware. Don’t play it for rewards.

Do NOT Download

Compare with the tower defense games I have played in the past, the game is mediocre at best. Game has one of the worst UI design I have ever seen. It is like every inch of the menu is full of in app purchase or ads or time saving function needed. Worst part about these ads, they don’t have a proper close tab available for users. It’s like another way trying to force users to spend money. Not to mention, upgrade tower in game and in game menu are two separate things. In order to have higher damage or better tower, you need roughly 300 copies of the same tower cards. I’ll recommend TD players to play Kingdom Rush. At least you don’t need to pay fee to unlock no ads and pay another fee to avoid interstitial ads and no gatcha game moment that require thousands of resources to upgrade one generic tower. Also not fill with all sort of filler game in order to get some sort of rewards.

Over monetized potentially good game

The core tower-defense gameplay has potential, but it’s buried under constant monetization. Progress feels artificially slowed to encourage purchases and ad watching. Even earlier levels don’t become enjoyable after upgrading because the difficulty remains high. I don’t mind paying for a good game, but this feels designed around selling progress rather than rewarding skill.

Horrible AI Support

Didn’t even have the game 24 hours before it banned me for “unusual gameplay activity” (probably because I work nightshift so the hours I’m awake and playing it are weird). Submitted two support tickets, and have received no support on the developers’ end. Get the game if you want, might have fun with it for a day, but do NOT give them any money, because if their horrible AI system bans you, their even worse AI support system will never provide assistance in getting back into your game. Don’t sink your time into this just for it to completely block your access to the game. If I could give it a half star or zero stars, I would.

Countless games the RNG would give you anything BUT a weapon. This means you’re FORCED to buy gems to reroll the RNG only to get NOTHING but paths to build, move icons, and land expansions. There are several times I went over 10 rounds without any weapon offers. So what’s the answer? Simple. Buy gems to allow you to reroll. This game is a scam beyond measure and if the RNG was more geared toward giving you weapons instead of land you’d stand a chance. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME

The game is pretty engaging and fun, but good god the ads are relentless. I’m not sure if there’s a pay to eliminate the ads option, but I’ve kind of lost interest and am uninstalling. You can’t get through 1 encounter without having to watch at least 10 ads total and each ad can take 1-2 mins each. It’s sad for a mobile game that’s actually pretty fun.

Many people want to get t-800 and t-1000 and terminator event, it never come out. I asked many times telling raid rush support saying, when will it come out? raid rush says it will come out. When will it come out? Never? I asked over months. On Reddit.com I asked saying do you want to get t-800 and terminator event? People are a disappointed, they are upset on not to get to have fun with the terminator event and t-800. Raid rush will be popular if people can go on the terminator event and get t-800 or t-1000; when you created a limited time offer to open the retro chest is fun please do it again; when a person join any subscription and uses it year by year give them award. 1000gems or over 1000 gems; on the skill Devine defense is hard to find the green prints. Make it easier to get the green prints; the duration of divine is low it runs on 5 seconds in level 33, make it run longer in every level.; people I talk to they want the Terminator event to get T-800 and or T-1thousand. I think other people say it or other websites probably Reddit.com

Super fun! I have some ideas to help with the overall experience!

This game is so fun I can’t seem to put it down, I think it would be great for the towers stats to be displayed after a win or loss, it would be cool to see what towers did the most damage or had the most kills and which had the least so I can know where to spend more on upgrades! Eventually becomes pay to win

Game is good at the beginning. But they’ve progressively made the same challenges harder over time with less rewards, thus creating a need for gems they want you to pay for. They also rinse and repeat the same challenges. No creativity. Big let down and the devs are just in it for the cash grab. Dont invest your time.
