Ever since the Go Fest update, my game constantly crashes right before the raid catch phase. I lost 5 to 10 remote passes this way. Physical raids crash too, and now it even crashes clicking wild Pokémon. To make it worse, support was completely unhelpful—they claimed their system showed no issues and just closed my ticket. I never had problems before, and now I’ve wasted real money on remote passes I lost out on. Please fix this!

Frustrating

I’ve been playing since day 2 (day 1 was overloaded so game wasn’t available) because I love pokemon and this game concept was amazing at the time… Except for the part of the supposed RNG. Pokemon with high stats seem way rarer now, especially in raids, and hundo (perfect stats) even more. Shinies are so scarce even with shiny boost and I’m just talking about my personal experience. You got other people getting x3 the amount I’d get and it’s almost always the same people because I’m in a community group. I play everyday since Day 2 and yet no shundos (shiny hundos). I know for a fact devs modify rates for new or players who don’t play much because they get great stuff easily, and this has been tested. It was easier to get good mons from trades, now every time I “lucky trade” with someone the best it’s the lowest 3* mon. EVERY SINGLE TIME, no kidding. I did it last time with community members and 3 lucky trades the same day were like that. They used to surprised me. Get me excited. Now seems like they nerfed them all. On top of all this, just today I watched a bunch of “community ambassadors/influencers” got invited to an exclusive event in NY and got a guaranteed hundo Mega Mewtwo Y with a background. I’m stoked for Mega Mewtwo, but it’s sad my expectations are very low since I got the worst luck in this game apparently. If you got FOMO, avoid at all costs. I’ll remember to change this review if I see any changes, but expectations are very low for how things are going.

Finicky network connection

In my current location I’m getting a full five bars of 5G and after authentication it will not connect due to network error. It then wants me to authenticate again. It’s a loop that never ends. Other times, I have to turn on WiFi even if the cellular connection is fine and there is no WiFi around. This is due to GPS not found.

The game is only worth playing if your in a area that has any other people who have the game as well. So of your in a rural area it can be hit or miss. They try to make it more accessible for people who live in rural area that have no other player by 3rd party apps such as campfire, but that only work of people are on that app as well. So to summarize its can be a blast if your in an area that has other people with the game, but if your not its pointless. No wonder people spoof this game

Crashes frequently and kills your phone

This seems designed to crash as soon as you finish a raid. You can’t catch the bonus round boss, but you lose your (often paid for) raid pass and have to spend potions to revive. DO NOT spend money in this game as you get no advantage.

Crashes happen, support should help

I won a raid, but the app crashed immediately afterward before I received the Pokémon encounter. I submitted a support ticket with a clear screenshot of my journal, which showed exactly what happened and confirmed I had completed the raid. Despite providing evidence, my request was automatically denied and the ticket was closed without any meaningful review. Crashes happen, but what is most frustrating is the lack of customer support. It feels like legitimate issues are being handled by automated responses instead of an actual person reviewing the evidence. Players invest time, raid passes, and often money into this game. When technical issues occur, there should be a fair process to resolve them.

Raids are broken

It’s the biggest event of the year, and the latest version of the game is seriously broken. Game crashes after each and every raid. I’ve tried every solution I see posted, but none work. Local raids are a pain, as I can sometimes restart and catch the Pokemon, but ONLY if the gym’s timer is still going. And I can’t even think about remote raids. I’ve lost a lot of raid passes with no rewards. What a joke.

Battles are broken

Game is okay, but the battles are rigged. Always get beat to tie breaker of who gets the charged attack, opponent gets charged attacks at 1% life but you don’t even though you spam the charge attack 6x before your Pokémon dies, can’t even swap your Pokémon before an opponent attack. Play the rest of the game but avoid battles, they’re broken.

Not sure what is happening but when doing remote raids, the app crashes upon takedown of the pokemon and then when reenter the game, the raid is closed and I cannot catch the pokemon, and have therefore lost a remote raid pass. I love this game. It has been regularly updated since it was created in 2016. It is targeted at all ages. I have enjoyed playing pogo with my friends, family and locals from my community. The rewards I get for walking have been a great motivation for getting out and walking the routes created by local users. There are no ads and you can disable social features if you want to get a children's account for your children.

I used to be able to use my camera on this app

I used to have this app as able to hook it up to my camera and I can walk around and see Pokémon everywhere but I’m no longer able to do that and there were three Pokémon in my whole neighborhood and I’m not allowed to leave the neighborhood so I am stuck with three Pokémon this app sucks it won’t let me look through camera to see Pokémon and it used to. Pokemon Go is a good game, but 3 times in a row my game crashed after beating a raid boss and it would not allow me to even attempt to catch the Pokemon. I lost the opportunity to catch a Necrozma, a Zamazenta, and a Kyruem. I would like to have the glitch fixed if you could.

Title: Great game, but needs raid bug fixes and flexible gym coin limits

I absolutely love this game, especially during major events like GO Fest which provide a fantastic incentive to get outside and explore.However, there are two primary issues I hope the development team can address: Raid Screen Glitches: Players frequently experience a bug during raids where the screen freezes entirely on a blank white screen, forcing an app restart. Daily PokéCoin Cap: The current 50-coin daily limit can feel incredibly punishing. It is discouraging to have 15 to 20 Pokémon defending gyms for days, only to have them all knocked out on the same day and lose out on the coins they earned due to the strict daily cap. Making it 100 would make remote raid passes much more easy to obtain in those rural areas. Implementing a weekly cap or a rollover system for gym coins would make defending gyms feel much more rewarding. Thank you, great game!

This is one of the most glitchy application I’ve used. And glitching is only consistently I see here. Now it crashes at least 2 out of five times at the end of the raid. And if the raid already closed by that time then you have no way to recover your Pokémon. Crashing Raids / No Boss Encounters

During Road of Legends week (less than half way through at the moment) my phone crashed immediately after the raids about 75-80% of the time leading me to be completely unable to have boss encounters when using remote raid passes and heavily impacting my overall gameplay when raiding gyms in person. I contacted support over 20 times with proof of no encounter from journal screenshots and every single time they replied tat they could see I finished my raid and I would not be reimbursed. The issue was not being able to finish the raid, it was the immediate crashing of the app and being unable to re-enter remote gyms after the crash. I spent over $200usd on raid passes for this event and the fact that they are doing NOTHING AT ALL to reimburse for the raids with no boss encounters is completely unfair. They are STEALING from their customers and bots are the ones interacting with the complaints. This is a terrible business model and more needs to be done to get it fixed.

There is no support, if you use a remote pass and your game crashes in the middle of the raid so you don’t get a catch encounter or rewards, the dumb bot just says “you successfully completed the raid or were already compensated.” NO I FREAKING WASN’T.
