Huge point-n-click junkie here. From horror to comedy, I've played over 2-dozen series. Times that by 4-5 gives the # of individual games within the series. The 7 games by Fire Maple are ABSOLUTELY fantastic – definitely in my top 5! They each provide hours of adventurous play, & puzzles are just "goldilock" right...Not too hard, not too easy. I also love how it makes you wait 10 mins between hints – that's an awesome feature I haven't seen before. Great job developers! 👏🏽👏🏽

While this seems so far what I played another good game by fire maple the problem I have is they are calling it a part 2 and little to nothing is same in the way the house is laid out. It almost like the original house was rebult from the ground up. Fire Maple : Such fun games

I like the games by this developer. The challenge provided is not terribly hard but just enough that I am motivated to reach the end. The artwork is beautiful. The music adds to the enjoyment. One thing I like about these games is the built in hint system. They are free, but are on a timer so you can’t buzz right through them. And you wouldn’t want to! Half the fun is figuring it out yourself. But if you are truly stumped, you can ask for a hint. I started with Grisly Manor, which was a little short but still a lot of fun. After I completed the game, I sat with my granddaughter while she played and that was fun for both of us. The sequel, Grisly Manor 2, was much longer and even more enjoyable, with a great ending. My most recent game was Lost City. While scenes are beautiful it seemed a bit too long with more back tracking than I cared for. The last half of the game I used more hints just to get through it faster. It would be nice if you could click on the map to get to the room you want to go to. For example, once you figure out what season you need to be in, it gets tedious to get to the room where you can adjust the season, and then continue on. Nevertheless, the Lost City provided much enjoyment, broken into three or four days as I had time to work with it. Because I’m of the age of being forgetful, a year from now I’ll be able to play these games again and they will still be fun. Thank you, Fire Maple, for making good “clean” games that are appropriate for any age player. I look forward to buying the next game.

Fire maple games have always been my favorite. I’ve played all of these throughout my life and they always brought me joy. I highly recommend getting this app because it’s truly interesting, fun, and worth your time. Grisly Manor is the OG so you should definitely play this, but if you enjoy this I 100% suggest you check out the other fire maple games such as Return to Grisly Manor, Lost City, Thickety Creek, Curse of the Cobra, Hidden World, etc. All super fun and mysterious. In my opinion, these apps are one of the best on App Store and are extremely enjoyable. I love this game! After playing the first one again, I went ahead and downloaded this one. The second is a huge step up from the first. This game is a lot less puzzle solving and a lot more problem solving. It's amazing. The art, music, graphics and animation, everything--it's all amazing. The game is a lot harder than the first game that's for sure. As a 15 year old, I had to use a ton of hints, but that's not a bad thing! I loved this game so so much! Fire maple always has the best games!!

By far their best game! I've played them all and hated the season changing one, there's a lot of toing and froing in all of their games but that was the worst. This, however is a master class in adventure games. Thickety creek is also superb. Their games are far superior to a lot on playstore and I've done most! Only complaint is there isn't enough new releases. The graphics are fantastic. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Loved the game, the house and Grandpa. It was refreshing not to have blood and demons in the game. Play was medium difficulty, most puzzles easy to figure out but the locked or hidden objects took quite a bit of thought to find. I hope there will be more Grisly adventures! Here’s my nitpick. Every time I had to flip to another app I had to wait through the introduction. That was frustrating, especially if I swiped up by accident.

Wonderful Series

Back in the early 2010s, my mom bought The Secret of Grisly Manor on our family iPad and it was probably our favorite game to play! We replayed it at least 5 times. A few years later we found out about the second one, and I’m sure we’ve replayed it at least 5 times as well. We lost the original account but I decided to re-buy the games just for the nostalgia. Just as fun as a decade ago! The attention to detail in this series is amazing, such as during the time travel sequence when the year always matches the current one. I’d recommend this game (and the original) to anyone of any age.

Ok game, a bit expensive for the quality. Most puzzles are logical, problem is having a huge map with not that much per screen and no fast travel. Also there is usually only one available action at any time, which means if you get stuck on one solution you cant move forward on anything else.

Great game

I just found this company and this is the third I’ve played after the first Grisly Manor and Lost City. This is my favorite so far. The puzzles were clever (the paint machine was my favorite) and I loved the addition of the interactive items. The plot was very creative and it was long enough (one of my complaints with a couple of their other games). And with act 2 it’s like getting two games in one. Loved it. BTW don’t be put off by the name. I avoided the first one for a while because I thought it was going to be a gruesome murder story but it’s not. It’s G rated. Also you don’t need to play the first GM to know what’s going on but I recommend it just for continuity.

I am a fan of the Fire Maple games. Grisly Manor 2 benefits from the forethought that went into making the puzzles fit in with the story, which are much more involved and thought-provoking than in the original. The puzzles themselves are at a medium level of difficulty; just hard enough to make you think, but far from exasperating. I also appreciate how the developers spent time creating clever, organic puzzles that avoid employing the lazy tropes (slider puzzles, combination lock puzzles, tiny hidden objects, finding/using items that make no sense in the story/environment) that many of the games in the genre fall back on. I also like how the game revisits the original Grisly Manor story, but expands on it significantly, avoiding redundancy. This game, like all of Fire Maple’s games, is a welcome relief from the gloomy, creepy settings and atmosphere in most of the games in this genre. The music is pleasant, the sense of humor is quirky and pervasive, and the visuals are colorful, which makes for a stress-free, family-friendly, puzzle-solving experience. The journal and the map are useful features, as well. Overall, this is a nice, calm way to spend a few hours, and scratch that puzzling itch.

It’s fun

I’ve played a fair amount of these adventure, point and click puzzle games and this is the first one that has made me laugh out loud. Very atmospheric game

I love the atmosphere in this game. With the theatrical soundtrack playing behind the game, I feel like I’m inside Spielberg’s movie. Although the game is not in 3D environment, but the 2D artworks are realistic and atmospheric and are enough to submerge yourself in the game. The puzzles are good, not too hard and not too easy. A few puzzles are not so logical but if you treat it like some sort of cartoon logic, then it makes sense. Overall, I love it.

Amazing game

I love a good point&click (classic) adventure game, and this one did not disappoint. I really enjoyed every minute of it. Great story, very nice graphics, challenging puzzles that make a lot of sense, and very smooth game play with no bugs at all. I refuse to use the hint system and I'm so glad I never did. I recall there was one or two times when I got really stuck and was a bit frustrated but I just walked away and came back a few times to figure it out. Awesome feeling. I got the game when it was made free this week, so I'm super happy. Will pay the $0.99 now to play the original Grisly Manor. Major kudos to the dev. team for a great game.

These games are just the right amount of hard, interesting, entertaining and silly. All around great games. I highly recommend their entire library. I bought the collection first after trying a demo. Where to begin, game was fun, actually most fun of all the games from the same maker imo. I never actually found the Easter egg in the game that I found in the other ones. There’s no way in hell that I could have played any of the games without having at least 3 hints only because I got really stuck a few times. Wish there were more games like this. To me, it was actually well worth the purchase. My only suggestion is to make a kind of scary game, but realistically this was probably one of the more if not most engaging games I’ve experienced on my phone.

Return to Grisly Manor

I am playing game, getting to the end and a clue appears re. "A hollow bound leather book and super glue to fix the broken pedestal." THERE IS NO LEATHER BOUND BOOK OR SUPER GLUE ANYWHERE! AND THE CHILDS GAME WONT ACCEPT THE PIECES...even after getting screwdriver and changing to slower speed. So I cannot continue which is super frustrating after playing game so long. HELP. I've enjoyed the original grisly manor, hidden world and and your other game with no problems.

I have played many of these puzzle games and I have to say that these games by Fire Maple are absolutely the best! The graphics are beautiful, the sound effects are realistic, the gameplay is challenging but not to the point of being frustrating. They are amazingly well designed and function beautifully. The help kids are just enough. I can't say enough good things about these, and I'm so sad that I have just completed all four games and have nowhere to go now. Please create more!

Very high quality game

I really hope Fire Maple games catch on more. All of their puzzle games are amazing and so much higher quality than the other "escape" type game on the market. This one is no exception. The art is beautiful. All the scenes are interactive with an actual story. Items are also interactive. I've played other games of this genre and you can't even tell what the item is you just picked up! Overall this game, as well as the others from this dev, are the highest quality and extremely enjoyable. Well worth every penny to support these awesome games.

Not enjoying Grisly Manor

Wow, am I in the minority here. Y'all love this game, but I'm not enjoying it. First of all, there's nowhere to change the difficulty setting. Secondly, the map is useless since it doesn't tell you where there's something to do. I have no clue what to do next since, for some reason, the slowly recharging hints are the only way to figure out what your goals are. Disclaimer: I am comparing this game to the Big Fish and G5 games that I enjoy.
