Yet another great addition to the Rusty Lake series! Got to hang out with the Vanderboom siblings again and uncovered some good origin secrets regarding that trio. Of course my only complaint is that it was too short, but of course that’s how I feel about all of their games because I love them so much! Guess I’ll just have to replay the other titles until we get our next installment. 🩷

Another masterpiece!! Every one of the Rusty Lake/ Cube games is excellent... Great puzzles which area mixture of difficulties and a walkthrough if you get really stuck.. These games really are something special though.. So atmospheric, the devs are absolute genius at the sinister and creepy.. Completely weird and wonderful!! Excellent experience! I've been playing Rusty Lake games forever, and this one is just as good as ever. The characters were fun and the puzzles were just the right amount of challenging without having to look up solutions like in some point and click puzzle games. The music and art were fabulous, and it was just the right amount of creepy!

This is my first game from Rusty Lake and I can't wait to play other games for more lore! The story is a bit confusing at first but it's genuinely what intrigued me. Everything seems out of place but it's that point where you need to merge logic and fiction to complete the puzzle. Really captivating. Also love the style. Reminds me of games I used to play on net back those days. Very nostalgic!

Once again an amazing puzzle journey! My partner and I have played all of Rusty Lake's games, with the first one being years ago. We immediately fell in love with Rusty Lake's approach to game design. This is yet another great addition to an already great catalogue of mobile games. I love the Rusty Lake games. I was so excited when a new one came out. The only puzzle that was a little hard to figure out was the Elixir code. But other than that the puzzles were just challenging enough to make me have to think a bit. So much fun!

I’m honestly such a fan of rusty lake games. I can’t even count how many times I’ve recommended. However, this was my last purchase. I’ve bought every game and enjoyed them. This one felt very different to me. The puzzles (ESPECIALLY THE HARP) are impossible to navigate on a phone screen. This game felt like the last bit of whimsy being sucked from my world. I awaited this and felt too frustrated to even want to finish. DNF rating

I’ve played every single one of the Rusty Lake series to include all the cube escape rooms. While this game was fantastic, and fun to play, I feel like the developers took a slight step backwards. Some of the puzzles were a little illogical. Some of the puzzles were a little more far-fetched than normal. This game lacked a little of the wow factor that the rest of the series has. If more games come out I will continue to buy them. This is mainly constructive feedback.

I have sucked up every single game this developer has made as soon as it has become available. Unfortunately, this eagerly-awaited game missed the mark when it comes to what they are known for … and that is dark complexity. I’m not quite sure how they got this far off their genre but it’s a shame. Hopefully they can make their way back to their roots …

Sooooo super cool and interesting! Definitely pretty tricky at times but it serves as a fun challenge! There’s a lot of lore to go through and it’s all the more fun to try to piece it all together! The Rusty Lake games are by far my favorite, especially puzzle-solving wise. I don’t typically write reviews for anything but I HAVE to recommend this game to anyone even slightly interested. Totally worth it!

I’ve played all the rusty lake games and loved them. I find this one is a little boring and the puzzles aren’t very challenging and are more tedious than anything else. Like what is up with checking the hallways over and over for something strange? Lame. There is too much slow dialogue and you can’t click to skip or speed up. Sorry guys not a fan at all this time around. I usually can’t stop playing but this time I play maybe 5 minutes every third day. It’s seriously that bad. I should just quit altogether but I paid for it so maybe next month I’ll finish it. Their free anniversary game was so much better than this.

I am a big fan of the Rusty Lake franchise and especially fell in love with the lore behind the Vanderboom family. This one was pure cinema. The puzzles were creative and just enough difficulty to where it didn’t frustrate me. Towards the end of the game I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!! It really separated itself from other Rusty Lake games and added on to the already established lore. Please come out with another game or games soon! This game is so amazing and definitely one of my favorites!
