One of my favorite Kairosoft games along with Home Run High, and Pocket Academy 3. I've lost count of how many times I've new game+ at this point. My only gripe is that I wish there was more end game content like the other games. At this point I'm just seeing how fast and efficiently I can hit top rank and level people up for the next run. One of the best.

I love all of the kairosoft games, but this seems to be the most stripped down of them all. The theme combos rarely make any sense, it's practically random. new game+ leaves much to be desired, staff and actors keep lvl #s, but not increased stats so it's pointless.

It's pretty good but late game is a nightmare of dialogue pop ups and choices. Imagine playing Game Dev Story on 3 phones. That's this game's mid-endgame if you want to keep the studios working.

Finally got around to a full play and I loved it. I had some trouble with the menu not closing and resuming the game but whatever, only minor glitch. The gameplay is fun and new game+ makes all things better!

Man, what a fun and cute little game! But I'm usually impressed by Kairosoft. This game is a joy. It's really fun to see and hire the different movie studio staff like actors, writers, and film photographers, and to figure out what themes work well within a genre. You don't get to 'watch' the movies you make, but there's loads of fun to be had developing your film studio and creating films that produce residual income for making new movies with better actors. If you like management, try it!

Good, but every time you try to do something like add a film location, or upgrade your cinemas, something happens in the game and you have to tap your way through 15000 screens before you get back to the main screen to do what you wanted ..... and be quick, because 0.7 seconds later another 15000 popups to click through will appear. kairosoft games are great, but they really really need to make this turn based with a "CONTINUE" button to press, before forcing 15000 popups on you!

Must have if you’re a fan of tycoon games, cinema, management and Kairosoft games in general. This game is an absolute GEM! I’ve played it for hundreds and hundreds of hours over the years. TONS OF REPLAYABILITY! So much fun and complex work! Love this game, ty Kairosoft!

Hard to get into but ultimately very fun.

As with all Kairosoft games, there’s a lot of moving parts and very little is explained, but once you work it out it’s so incredibly satisfying. The only reason this isn’t 4 stars is that it doesn’t have a whole lot of ability to *see* the effects your choices are making, like in, say, TV Studio Story where you can design sets and make changes during filming. But otherwise, yet another classic.

Really fun. Wish you had more scene choices and themes. Also when your director and actors hit a certain age they have to retire and you need to hire a new crew and actors to work. Love it though. If you keep playing once you have everything, you should be able to build new things like a walk of fame. Have disasters and tragedies befall your studio and workeds. Need a comedy theme.

I've played a few rounds now and I enjoy it. Some improvement in my opinion is it needs more genres. We have a lot of of themes and that's cool. I like the various actors you can buy. It's s good system and I'm slowly playing thru the various games they have. When we have multiple studios it turns to semi chaos. We should be able to see which studio is wanting a place to film etc

Too Frustrating

I was having a ton of fun with this game, but as you level up the staff don’t really get better. The director and scriptwriter all have stats above 500 and yet he can’t complete a script beyond the first act!?!? There’s no rhyme or reason to it.

Small Glitch

Decent Kairo Fun

I’ve played most of the paid Kairosoft games and this one is not bad, but probably one of my least favorites. The game mechanic is extremely similar to Gamd Dev Story. There’s a lot of side scrolling, since it’s not isometric. It was a lot easier than any of their other games I’ve played. Kairo games always have a lot of pop up notifications in-game, but this one has to be the worst. It does get almost unplayable late game, as another reviewer said. Either way it’s still fun because I love Kairosoft. I would recommend playing this only after you’ve played their other games like Pocket Academy 3, Dungeon Village 2 and Game Dev Story.

Great game, but there’s so many interruptions

This has the potential to be such a great game, and I’m a huge fan of Kairosoft. However, the main thing holding this game back is all the interruptions. You can’t play 10 seconds without the game stopping what you’re doing and forcing you to watch a cut scene. Whether it is a film festival, your staff contributing to production, showing the filming, or a million other things, the game becomes unplayable in the late game. I wish there was a toggle for useless scenes
