I do not trust this app

This app completely took over my phone. It would not exit, receive calls or texts and I could not reatart the phone. I was stuck with this app playing cornover an hour. I had to use so eone else’s phone to find a way to restart--pressinf culume up anrivbt button did not work. I do not how this passed the app store’s security protections is review is beyond me because it has a serious flaw. It has the ability to commandeer your and make it unusable to you. If this happendedndurimg an emergency, a user would be unable to call out for help.

Disappointed

The mission are lacking as all the sky gamblers series, not as existing as the original WWII sky gambler. The fact that gun auto aims is a big downside.

Good game

The game is very good if you ask me. The graphics are good and so are the planes. I wish there was more heavy bombers. I also wish there was more missions in the campaign. I had a lot of fun playing it. Overall I think it’s a great game. PS It deleted my progress like 50 times and I had to start over

A joke

Deleted this after multiple attempts to enjoy it outside of the amazing graphics. The controls are a joke. The gameplay is absolutely lame. Don’t fall for the spiffy, improved look. The old one is far superior.

Not ready for prime time.

Pretty, promising, but too flawed to stay on my phone. Controls are just about unusable in any mode. I’m sure others have conquered the unnecessarily steep learning curve to control this beast, but it just doesn’t have to be this difficult. Thank you for adding moderately recognizable physics, but now please let players use them with a joystick (and not the casual junk). Going to let this one sit and hope there’s an update that gives more palatable control options.

Why do people keep complaining about controls?

I see that a lot of people say the controls are bad, honestly, I would recommend calibrating again if the controls feel bad, I don’t see too much of an issue I have seen much harder controls on similar games. Also, the game has much less pay 2 win than the original and better graphics as well as loadout customization. I do think that a problem is that planes can take way to many hits which sometimes is a bit boring. Overall this game is great and I strongly recommend it.

I would give this 5 stars but there’s not enough companion mode here are some you could do the b Mitchell raid, and D-DAY if added those or different ones that would be great and I would give 5 stars

BUG

There are bugs, 1. It is easy to cause confusion and loss of control of the steering direction, and it can only be restored to normal by switching the angle of view. 2. Multiple devices cannot log in with the same id, Why the game progress is not automatically saved？ Does not support ipad full screen!

Game crashes upon opening app

I’m not sure what to say about the game play since my son isn’t able to play. We bought the first version for my son but the game was super glitchy...we didn’t listen to the reviews and bought it anyways. We chalked that up as our mistake and moved on Unfortunately we then purchased this game (my son was using his own money and assured me he wanted it despite the many bad reviews)...I’m not sure what that says about me but they got another $5 from my son. The game may be great but the app closes just closes down right after selecting the app to play. We haven’t been able to open the game to try it even once since downloading it yesterday...buyer beware.

Great game with great problems

Love this game super fun graphics are great, physics relatively realistic, and the weapons and the planes are all great. With that being said let’s go to the issues; the worst of all would be that somehow this app can overtake your entire phone, and by that I mean your phone will lock on Atypical games. You are allowed to turn off your phone, close the app, or even view the apps that you swipe down to see. Along with that you can’t power off your phone! You just have to kill your battery by any means possible. The first time this happened to me I totally thought my phone was hacked. Please fix this problem.

Brilliant game, might want to bring a bit of realism in.

Okay, so, I love this game, its a break from the free simulators and beta-ish tech demos currently available, but its not insane. I feel that there are a few ways you could improve. I find it odd that the rudder functions on the ground and turns it without any movement. I've seen simulators like this, where instead of using a simple equation (forward velocity * turn Speed * rudder angle) give or take a few values, and instead add whatever general rudder turning that it would have at maximum speed no matter what speed it's at. its odd that something paid, made by Atypical, and designed with a "simulator" mode (which, I might add, I was using when I noticed this), would have this glaring issue. I hope this is either patched or at least changed in simulator mode.

I don't usually like writing reviews like this. My son loves these atypical WWII flying games. This game was great. Then in the last couple of months it started crashing every time it was loaded up. And you know what’s worse then that ? Emailing the developer and getting ghosted. No response. None at all. What kind of lousy service is that ? So irritating. I would love to update this review sometime in the future when the developer actually responds let alone helps assist with the problem. Until then, don’t waste your money.

Can you fix the screen bounds on iPad Pro

Mapping Bug PLEASE FIX

Your need b17s mores jets also lwo Jima or Berlin. And a Japanese “Betty bomber “ and a hellcat and amazing game this is the first game that I’ve played and get everything l like.🥰🥰.ps for campaign you should do both sides of the battle and do the famous bomber raids on Berlin

A great game that could use more action

I enjoy the game it’s not exactly white knuckle action but still very enjoyable some stuff to add and fix is whenever a plane makes it to crash into the ground or water it phases into the ground instead of causing an explosion or splash. Some more stuff could be added I’d Japan map or maybe a Berlin map planes that could be added are gruman hell cats, sbd dauntless, g4m more bombers just in general. So in conclusion this game in enjoyable but could use more work.

Slow down the dogfighting

It’s a shame to have such beautiful graphics when you can’t enjoy the dogfighting. I spend most of my time trying to get into the action. All enemy planes just look like little dots as they fly past. If you want more players you have to slow it down so that you can get more than just a passing shot at the planes.

Good, but needs wings

Overall this game is well made with amazing graphics and realistic shooting, but the only thing that bothers me is that when you enter first person mode you do not see your wings on the side of your plane like the previous sky gamblers. If you are a developer seeing this review, I would appreciate it if you could implement this detail into your game.

Doesn’t deserve the hate

This game, to me anyways, is much better than SG SR 1. Pros: ——— Absolutely gorgeous graphics Decent campaign Great plane selection Free plane customization Not too challenging, but not too easy either Cons: ——— Graphics can drain battery pretty fast Campaign is only 10 missions Not a whole lot of players online, but there are some Historical accuracy for ships at Pearl Harbor is bad Planes appear larger at a distance, which can be disorienting. Please note a lot of these are just me nitpicking at all the little problems, it is a great game! Recommendations for future updates: ——— More missions would be nice, maybe some more for the USA like the battle of Midway or Normandy. (definitely would like more missions for the pacific theatre) I would like to see more planes in the future, maybe the Horton 229, Hellcat, PBY, or maybe even the legendary B-17 Flying Fortress! It would be nice if you could write the nickname of the plane on the nose of the plane, like the Memphis Belle or Old Crow. So, in conclusion, if you want more missions and less great graphics, go for the original. If you want amazing graphics more than missions, I’d definitely recommend this game. P.S. I was not paid by Atypical at all for this review. This is solely my opinion. Sorry for the long review, and thanks if you read the whole thing!

Control issues

The Casual Control Pad should have an option to lock the accelerometer, having to constantly press the accelerate button constantly whilst flying is an annoyance, the planes are wonderful and the variety of which is outstanding, the new painting mechanics are so awesome being able to change the roundels and insignias is great as well but all this is discounted with the controls not being as fluid as the Original Sky Gamblers Storm Raiders Casual Control Pad

This is great

I like this game but I do have a few problems. First I can’t stop laughing about how the spitfires front looks lie tigger from winne the Pooh. And the controls are meh and the hienkel sounds like a car. and over all it’s an okay game

Great game.. wish they did an update

Great game. Well worth the $$. Online is fun but you do need all the planes to not get smoked by others. Wish the missiles had more effect Great community... Wish they put game on sale to get new people on line Overall. Great game... just needs a bit more “investment” and attention.
