has potential.

this game so far has so much potential, i love the art style and the characters so far. the only thing that makes me rate the game 3 stars instead of 5 is that 1. i cant play on my ipad because the contests are glitched on there so im stuck playing on my phone and 2. it feels kind of empty so far. i have some suggestions though since this game is really similar to style savvy (which i love and am a huge fan of) i suggest clothing brands or brands in general and a more specific styles like style savvy. i would also suggest adding a way to decorate or shop according to our favorite brands and adding a mannequin to our shop like in the style savvy games. i would also like if there were a way to post looks on social media or on our phones and interact with other peoples posts and boutiques or shops. and adding relationships like certain characters showing up in our boutiques/shops depending on the aesthetic/brand design of it. and building closer relationships with our favorite characters and being able to invite them to different places in the world and dress them up for different events and occasions. another thing i would suggest is adding other styling jobs to earn more in game currency, like instead of us only working at our boutique/shops we can work at a makeup shop to help out and get more currency, even nail salon and hair salon too. that’s some of my ideas for the game and hopefully it’s fixed for ipad soon and i’ll change my rating :) i still love the game so far though and can’t wait for the future of it <3

A Fantastic Game Ruined by Ads

This game is a lot of fun, tons to do, and addicting for anyone who enjoys character customization. Putting your styles up against other players is always an exciting competition. Legit could see me pouring hours into this game. The problem: ads! One long ad plays after every contest submission (something you do A LOT) and it’s incredibly annoying. Now, with a game this good I’d be happy to spend a couple dollars to remove ads, and there is an option to. I think it was something like $7, which is pretty reasonable with a game of this quality. So what’s the issue then? The issue is that it’s a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE! $7 A MONTH to play without ads. I know you get other things from the subscription but I just want to play without ads. The money you’d spend on this app would add up so quickly for the version of the game that should be free. If it was a one time payment this game would be the easiest 5 star review I’d ever give, but after dealing with these ads I’m leaving the game entirely. I get having to make a profit, but jeez it’s just insufferable. If the game ever updates how they do ads or gives a one time ad removal purchase option (I don’t even want other benefits literally just stop showing me ads) I will happily return to the game and update my review. Until then, sadly, I’d say play something else.

Not as good anymore

I tried out this game after seeing it on social media a while back, and so far, I’ve liked it a lot. I really like the clothing, the customization, and the contest themes. The recent update has me hardly playing the game AT ALL. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind ads for things like getting extra currency. However, now every time I submit an outfit, an ad pops up. I wouldn’t be mad about it, if it didn’t happen literally every time I do.

I see lots of people comparing this to random games. Pff no!? The main inspiration for this is style savvy! Which I absolutely love! I’m only giving 4 stars though because of the crashes, which happen several times during the day. I love extra rewards sometimes when I enter a store to see how I went in the competition, it either crashes or freezes, so I can’t claim the extra reward for ad (which I don’t have to watch because I paid for the subscription but I’m missing the reward I actually paid for!)

Too many crashes!!

The game is fun and I love dressing up! If you love dressing up and trying to match prompts for judging by other players, then this game is for you! BUT! There’s a crazy amount of crashes! The app forcefully closes about 10+ times for me, both on my iPad and iPhone. The worst is when I’m trying to receive my contest results, it never loads and I’m forced to close my app- while I still receive the score, I don’t receive the rewards!! I’ve lost rewards for 5.00+ star contest results 3 times now, meaning I’m losing out on the cash and gems… It really adds up! I can’t recommend this game fully as it really sucks to not get rewards when you’ve earned it. Please, please fix the crashing and loading errors!!

Forced ads after update

I was fine with the optional ads and even willing to watch them, but now after the most recent update I’m forced to watch an ad every time I submit a look. Which is extremely annoying and makes me play less.

Awesome game- added mandatory adds suddenly

I started playing this game a few months ago and loved that it had optional adds only. This most recent update, though, added both mandatory adds after styling and a gacha mystery boxe that you can pay to open. I don’t mind the mystery boxes (even if the limited items do feel a little pay-to-win) but I CANT STAND the new adds. They completely destroy game flow and take like 2 minutes and three buttons to finish. I used to pant this game constantly, but I doubt I will still be able to enjoy it enough do that now. I really liked this game and am disappointed to see it become so frustrating to play.

It would be a 5 if it didn’t crash so much. Like style contests become a times challenge because it crashes so much I have to start over multiple times per contest. I spent an hour making one outfit for one contest because it crashed so much I had to remake the same outfit OVER 20 times. I have all the settings all the way down to be performance friendly, but that’s clearly not the issue. The game crashes at least once every 2 minutes, if not more. Fixing the crashing needs to be the top priority for now

Modern Style Savvy🥹

I’ve grown up with every Style Savvy game on the DS, and this is the continuation I never thought I’d get🥺 It’s incredibly vast for just being a phone app - comparable to a DS game but with the ability to be online! The characters, fashion, and town are all so well done! My only request would be to include more modest pieces that don’t show so much skin💕 Amazing work!

It’s like a beautiful revival of the beloved “Style Savvy” DS series I, to this day, will go back to play. I imagine that this is what ‘Fashion Dreamer’ aimed to be! The animation/artstyle is so cute too. It’s been awhile since I’ve been hooked on a fashion game.. let alone a mobile game :)

I love this game but some improvements are needed

Editing my review I hope you look and respond. First of all I enjoy this game a lot, because it’s like Style Savvy, and cuter than zepeto. so please take my critiques as help for the developers, not annoyance or hate. My main complaint that could easily be fixed is dressing in the club/disco. The lights glow in front of you in pink and blue, and then there is a flashing that’s not just annoying, each flash obscures your top half. Color matching is hard there too. I totally get you guys trying to create a dim clubbin atmosphere, but for people with vision disabilities, or epilepsy, it’s a major problem. Secondly, the dark skin tones are dull and ashy. I’m glad you offer some though, many Asian games only offer pale and lightly tanned. So brightening up the skintones and making them more realistic would be great. I’m disappointed there’s only so many contests and then there’s nothing to do for hours. I would play for along time but I can’t because I finished the contests. There needs to be many more a day. And in order to save our currency we shouldn’t have to spend our pocket money on clients. They should at least pay us back. If it was a real business we’d be losing money by only getting 1000 from the customers. I’d also like to see less mainstream styles, as now there’s too much monochrome. The outfits are cute but not diverse. I’d like gyaru, kidcore/decora, more general harajuku stuff, cottagecore/mori girl, hime, gothic Lolita, retro (60s/70s which would be excellent in the record shop, mc bling, etc.

Love game but has some bugs

I love this game it reminds me so much of style savy I use to play on my ds. The only problems I have with this game is that whenever I try to receive my daily reward there’s an error that pops up. So I haven’t received any daily rewards and it makes doing the runway challenges and style store challenges extremely difficult. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app as well as using my cellular data and different WiFi networks but none of them have worked. How can I fix this?

Then you’ll love this game. It has super fun mechanics like shopping, styling NPCs, and participating in fashion competitions. At the time of this review it has hardly any ads and you can tell the team behind STYLZ actually has a passion for fashion and is not just after your time and money. I cannot wait for more updates, and for more players to find this gem! This game brings back the feeling I had as a kid, playing fashion games on my family computer and Nintendo DS. Love it! 🌈💕👗

LOVE so far!

My game does crash frequently but I am playing on my iPhone 11 and it’s old as heck. There’s bugs + clipping (clothes, hair, shoes) that I imagine will be fixed in future updates; it doesn’t affect gameplay on my end just super noticeable. I love the fashion + styling, the voting system is cool and I really hope the devs feel passionate in their creation here because I’ve been having a blast. I look forward to future updates!

reminds me of style savvy :) a bit laggy and has forced closed on me a couple times but i enjoy the game! i think maybe adding some currency you can collect while running around the map would be a nice incentive to stay in the game, kind of like how dress to impress has.

Great start!

The game is fun so far, very expressive and cute. It’s exactly what it says it is. However, the rewards for certain things, specifically the shop clients, are severely lacking for the amount of money you spend to fulfill their requests. I think you receive 1000 dollars and 120 gems for completing 30 missions, which isn’t even enough to cover what you might spend for ONE mission. It isn’t motivating, and doesn’t create a welcoming environment. It’s my least favorite part of the game, and I hope it will be improved upon in the future!

Decent Gameplay But Translation Shoddy

The gameplay loop is decent and is like the Nikki/Covet games but the biggest issue is that the translations for the contests often make no sense in English, so then when you see the results you realize that you completely miss the mark. Even a brief description of a contest style would help, as there’s also dialogue that’s still in Hangul.

Decent but lots of room for improvement

Ok, this game is pretty fun! I do have a couple of suggestions though. First off, having an apartment or house would be nice, also pets! Ones that can go with your outfits and maybe have their own little accessories. Another suggestion is having male character designs so your audience can grow. And being able to do more than just vote and do fashion shows to earn money would be nice, like having other jobs available. Again, pretty fun game! But definitely needs some work.

I'm poor

Main issue is how easy it is to get stuck being out of money and gems, and then all of the jobs you have at the shop or whatever it's called require you to buy a specific item that you don't have the money for, and what are ya gonna do? Purposely flunk? And waste your energy? I know this game was designed to be played in short spurts, but if there was a way to stop that from happening, that would be great. Also make men playable.

Very cute!

The game itself is super cute and it reminds me of ZEPTO I think it was called in a way! I love the game itself however, I do think the clothing items are a bit expensive in game and it’s kinda hard to earn money! I do love pretty much everything else about the game tho! Too cute! I love dress up games, and this one is just amazing!! There’s some bugs, but the game is new, so there will be minor problems. Overall, love it! I would recommend more hair and eye colors, just because. I mean, I move having infinite possibilities to just throw on clothes.

It’s a great game and all but you should be able to be a boy in the game or at least have there be a bust where you’re completely flat. And if you chose boy you should still be able to wear the same clothes as if you chose girl and vice versa.

genuinely quite good!

PROS: -the graphics are cute! -the character are also quite cute -there is a reasonable amount of customization for your appearance -there is a REAL variety of skin tones! dark skin tones with different undertones should be the bare minimum, but it's not often that you see it. but this game has real variety! -i'm fairly early, but the game feels pretty generous with the different currencies, so i'm not always feeling like i just... can't do anything. -fun characters imo! CONS -i can tell the game is pretty new. there aren't really any missions/objectives other than give a person one clothing item based off their request, and enter challenges. -another part of it being new: there aren't a whole lot of items yet. it's not SUPER limited, but it's clear there are some things to come in the future. -there isn't actually very much interaction with the characters past the first time. would be cool if more mechanics could be added that aren't necessarily just dressing up, so you can get more interaction and story from the characters and environment.

Worth playing! Super fun!

The animation is amazingly well done, minimal ads (BIG win here), and in game currency is easy to get! No need to spend money so far! Sometimes you will run out of things to do and so you have to wait until tomorrow to play again, but otherwise I love this app and I hope you’ll give it a shot!
