Wingspan: The Board Game

For some reason, even after wiping all the app data and doing an uninstall/reinstall cycle, the app Will Not work on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. Never gets past the title screen.

Great game but this version is unplayable. I'm having the same issues loading the game and it acknowledging my Google account that everyone else seems to be having even after troubleshooting for hours, so it's essentially unplayable for me

Fun, but No Goal? My friend and I play async across timezones. We love this game but we love the "no goal" first round with an extra turn each subsequent round. Gee golly, we sure do wish we could have a little more control over our custom games so we could use this "no goal" goal more.

I don't understand how an app with bugs this massive makes it into production. Did a programmer on the team deliberately sabotage the project? Or did no one bother to read the rules to the tabletop board game that this is supposedly based on? Because as it stands now, this is an unplayable $10 flushed down the toilet. What bug? Brown bird powers triggering when you acquire the card, instead of AFTER they're in your play area in a habitat.

love the game but game options are frustrating. There are only 2 ways to play people who aren't in your friends , a 3 minute game and a horrible 3 day game. I only know 1 person to actually set up a game with a decent time span, so I'm stuck playing a speed game of 3 minutes which sounds okay in most games but not on Wingspan duet mode. I want to play a custom timed game with players but I can't because you don't get to know them, no chat or even a question in game if you want to add them.

I have this game on 2 platforms, Google Play and Board Game Arena. The latter is so much more user friendly and easier to play, it's like a different game. This Google play version is not easy to play at all, it also has bugs. Hubby accidentally tried to lay eggs on a bird when he had no birds! The game didn't stop this happening, so basically he lost a turn! If you want a good experience and don't mind paying a monthly fee for premium, then get it on BGA.

Played this game, got hooked, bought board game with all 4 expansions and accessories lol. Everyone's busy, bought it on steam. Realised that mobile is way more accessible and gotta say, it's really well made but i do have some disappointments. 1: online mode's limited to 3 players only. I now play it on BGA for 4-5 player games but that just the base game there with good implementation! 2: updates are too slow. I want to play it with hummingbirds but i read somewhere ot takes 2-3 years.

HELP WINGSPAN DEVELOPERS! I HAD HUNDREDS OF HOURS ON THE GAME, MOST ACHIEVEMENTS, ALMOST EVERY BIRD UNLOCKED AND EVERY EXPANSION. Most recent update game froze at launch menu and will not load. great game and app but the last update has messed up my client. I've had to1 reinstall twice in the last 2 days. I get in an online match and then immediately the client is like o no you need and update closes my client. edit: reinstalling the game fixed the loading issue. game mostly ok but has ongoing bugs. ----- the bug that caused the game to skip entire rounds seems to have been fixed, but after the most recent update the app is stuck on the loading screen. i also recently noticed that my points for a round end weren't counted correctly. i suspect it's because one of the nests was a star nest and something in the code didn't register it correctly (iirc it was the "cavity nests with eggs" goal).

The UI is terrible. It's probably ok on a tablet, but it's very difficult to see anything on the phone requiring the magnifying glass android feature. Trying to zoom in game is next to useless and the game doesn't show you the other players actions forcing you to review their game board to figure out what changed. The game also crashes frequently the actual game is fun as a board game.

Promised discount doesn't apply? There was a notification saying you would receive a 30% discount on expansions if you bought the British bird pack. after buying the bird pack, no such discount exists. I feel cheated.

Great game that is absolute gatbage as a mobile app! If someone calls me, and I ignore the call during a game without even touching anything related to the call, it still kicks me out of the game and app with no way to return! It is both bulky and buggy. Very disappointing.

I have had multiple games that do not update me when it's my turn. I think that an opponent is taking the full time but when I exit out, it times me out. I love the game but the fact that I keep "running out of time" when I don't even know is frustrating. This just happened to me again. I had the game open, it was not my turn on my screen "times up you lose 5 karma points". I wish I didn't have money invested in this! I also wish if one person quit, you had the ability to vote to end the game.

I've really enjoyed this game. It's quick enough that you won't lose hours of your day to it, but still engaging enough to make you think, all at a relaxing pace. Gameplay is smooth with no complaints. I even purchased an expansion pack.

Beautiful, but obviously designed for the newest fastest tablets. My Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 (SM-T830, released in 2018) lags significantly, switching views to look at other players tableaus takes about 20 seconds to refresh. I've turned off animations, but there are no other options to reduce memory or processor load. I own and play the board game expansions, but likely won't buy digital versions yet. I definitely won't try playing online because other players will hate my slow play.
