Wordfeud

Love to play word feud! The competition is great. It is a great way to keep your mind thinking and remembering words that you haven't spoken in years. It keeps me on my toes.

Love This Game!!!

I’ve been playing since 12/24/2012 and it is the best interactive, relaxing yet challenging game have I have ever played. It’s a good brain game also so I don’t feel guilty playing. Been playing with some friends for over a decade.

- Sushi&Sake · v5.5.3

Almost unplayable on android since every time you play there is an uncloseable ad. You have to close and reopen the game each move. I know it is free and all but it is now close to unusav

- Nick Leach · v5.5.2

Voel me niet zo alleen .

Ik geniet enorm van Wordfeud , het bedenken van woorden, goed voor de hersens en het contact hebben met familie en vrienden.

- Albertijntje · v5.5.3

Scrabble

Best game online . As close as you can get to playing it in person. A great way to check on relatives and friends. Love that it is as if you were playing in person. No ads or solicitation

- flgigi · v5.5.3

Get out the mixer!!!

I love this game. It’s mentally satisfying and keeps me in touch with friends. But, The developers badly need to program it so the letters will mix better, because it takes all the fun out of it when you keep having all consonants or all vowels. Mix the dang things up better.

- Zimmerabner · v5.5.3

very nice to play at your own time, when available, with my friends&family. less so with random players who only want to win and not let you any possibilities to find new words! So, NO random players, sorry.

- Ants Livny-Corts · v5.5.2

Good word game, better than others tried.

- peter morris · v5.5.2

Always five stars

- juflu45 · v5.5.3

Fantastic game play but the dictionary is terrible. It completely undermines the game. An official dictionary at least but ideally the Scrabble dictionary.

Word Feud......Best Brain Game Ever!!

If you’re looking for a game that challenging and contains a bit of a strategy as you get better, this is the game! It’s also possible to make several distant friends while playing!! I’ll give it a 👍!!

- coachchappo · v5.5.3

new ads dont stop? Not sure what changed but suddenly most ads do not go away anymore, and videos keep playing for minutes with no option to stop. I do understand it is a free app, but before the duration of the ads and videos were reasonable. Now some ads dont go away and I need to reboot, or videos keep playing for several minutes long which seems excessive.

- Antonio Marinho · v4.0.37

Still solid and always improving

This game will challenge your full lexicon and allow you to flex your verbal prowess in several languages. The design is un fussy and elegant. It never breaks. It never throws errors. All of this well thought out interface architecture makes it easy to enjoy the game play. It's always interesting and challenging. Random opponents are interesting and challenging as well. Usually. I've been playing with the same group of friends for many years and we do not tire of this fine word game offering. Several of my opponents are people I will never meet in person. Wordfeud is a very nice. low-key way to interact with people from around the world. I value the long term opponents I've met on the boards. The developer is extremely responsive and flexible about suggestions. They regularly offer beta opportunities to engage with their changes and offer suggestions. Overall it is one of the best apps I have ever loaded onto the phone and the iPad. It has performed admirably throughout many iOS updates and device upgrades. If you enjoy word board games try Wordfeud. Specially take advantage of the randomization of the bonus squares. You can get crazy high scorers out of some of the boards. Occasionally challenge someone randomly and politely offer some chat (if that's your vibe) The feud may lead to a friendship. No matter the outcome you will get some good gameplay.

I have been playing this game steadily since 2015 or so, especially with one opponent the whole time who lives across the Atlantic. We have become friends. I have played WordFeud with him through good times and bad. So this is much more than a game to me. It is a comfort.

Strange words

This app works well except it uses a bizarre dictionary. I’ve had ZEN and QUO (as in status quo) rejected while my opponent happily plays words like AA or EUOI (ever seen them actually used?) I’ve lost a game after it rejected zen and decided it’s not really worth it

- Todd Grady

I have been playing Wordfeud since May 2012. And I have played it almost every day since. And it is my go-to daily to clear my head. And enjoy a friendly competition amongst friends. I guess I can literally say that it is addicting. I check every morning and night to see if there is a new game or if it is my turn. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. And about 2 years after writing this review, I am still playing. I playing with 3 friends every day. 3 games at the same time each. Obviously still loving this.

- Eddy Dunkel · v5.5.2

No Hoopla

Love this game. It’s no nonsense, meaning no ads! No hoopla! No silly side games. And it’s FREE! I love the option of a random placement of tiles. Straight forward, unlike the other popular similar game with an overkill of cartoons, ads, and ways to spend money.

- vkyboo · v5.5.2

Best Word App

The free version is practically unplayable due to constant, long-winded ads between moves. However, if you love games like Scrabble and are willing to pay the small one-time fee to upgrade, it’s 100% worth it. Minimalist and designed for the serious player- no cartoons, stupid achievements or quests. An excellent, clean word game once the ads are gone.

- NativeSon_831 · v5.5.3

Great adaptation of a classic game

No power ups, no gems to wait on. No social features. Just scrambled letters and a board.

- Anna Aksac · v5.5.2

I did not mind the ads, but in the latest update you shrunk the game board with a banner ad and made the game unusable with a small screen. THIS THE ONLY TIME I have reviewed any app/game because I am really disappointed. Hence deleted the app on all my devices.

- Jeffery Pratus

A good way to keep in contact daily with family and friends. No long advertisements in between games.

- Janet Davies · v5.5.2
