much of the game seems to be unavailable to me. if there is something I should have done, then it would be helpful to know what. I had hoped to play with friends, but they are impossible to locate. I got an error message about lack of WiFi, which is not lacking unless this game is incapable of finding it. I was told my username could not contain spaces, but most usernames (except mine) seem to. people start games then wander off. all in all, very complicated setup for rather little game play.

This word game with the familiar tiles on a board is great you get 8 letters dealt out at the start across middle, make use of the dictionary. Thank you I wrote an email, they listened regarding my problem and this word game is now even better, and it seems I get to play more opponents. Yes, I remember how it was bothersome making my eyes sting and water up. I do still need to use eye drops although not as often as before, but I wouldn't play this game again if it starts hurting my eyes again.

Appalling app. Impossible to even finish one's turn thanks to the bombardment of adverts for other games that required me to shut down, reboot my Android phone and complete several virus scans. Uninstalled the app but unable to remove the same games via email. Playing by email is a total nightmare as the interface is riddled with glitches. Any attempt to resolve issues is impossible. Disappointing and disgusting.

Downloaded this app after hearing good things. Played first game against the AI to try it out. The AI played a racial slur, a non compliant move creating nonsense words, and some other words that aren't in the dictionary. A bad experience.

It definitely serves its purpose, but the UI is incredibly poor quality compared to competing apps. Aside from the dated look of the app, my main issue is how difficult it is to drag and place tiles where you intend to play them. It just isn't calibrated well for touchscreen. I would change my review if this one thing was improved. Also, there is no way to view/edit your profile, avatar, user information, or email notification preferences without logging into the browser.

Played Lexulous for at least 10 years. Love the game. Sadly, whoever is running the app has decided to allow so many ads that it's become NO FUN to play. On top of having to endure 90 seconds of Gossip Harbor promos, we get asked at the end if we enjoyed it & implies if we press NO we'll not see the ad again. It's meaningless. The ad repeats after every play no matter what. ADVERTISING IS MAKING APPS UNUSABLE. Maybe that's a good thing. Get a brick phone & play board games w friends in person.

Was trying to test the waters with an offline mode with a bot. I set the difficulty to the lowest level and proceeded to get obscure, high-scoring words from the bot right off the bat. Then I got a long unskippable ad 2 turns in.

I don't waste time playing inane games. I used to play Scrabble online until Mattel bought then scrapped it. Lexulous is similar but has one more tile broadening the scope for known or discovered words. Through these games although I dont always chat with opponents but we all live in other parts of the world .. usually most are on different time frames. We can feel pressured if online at same time. Ive made mates in USA, Australia, Lebanon, 1 in SA unexpectedly died after 3 yrs play. sad

I love this game. Been playing for years. Having a problem loading my games today because "an unknown error has occurred." It's only ever happened once before. I'm hoping it'll magically restore.. fingers crossed because I have a whole bunch of games and it's my turn!!

Stops working way more than it should. Update: Shows my games but when I try to play the screens are blank of any tiles, both on the "board" and in my "rack." No way I can play the game. Sometimes app notifies me when it's my turn to play, other times not. Can't figure out why. Update: "Turn notifications" remains toggled ON, but after a recent update I'm no longer getting notifications. 7/9 Periodically the notifications function doesn't work. Glitchy. Frustrating.

ENOUGH WITH THE ADS! I was actually trying to find the place to pay to remove ads when I was bombarded by constant, fullpage, unending, ad spam and forced videos. Now, instead of purchasing, I am deleting and it's your fault. The little ads at the bottom of the page were distracting but allowable. The full page spam earns a lost customer and the lowest score I can give. Also, the game needs to learn where to drop a tile I play. It was consistently wrong.

Seems like every update messes up ability to login on iPad. With this latest update, I am unable to access my facebook games on my iPad. No issues with iPhone, only iPad.

This game worked for a while but very aggravating that every time I logged to the game, I had to sign in to Facebook. Seems like if I authorized Facebook, I shouldn’t have to sign in every time I open the app. Now it is not working at all. I’ve tried starting games with my friends but nothing happens and the games I did have disappeared with no explanation about why that happened. Big waste of time!

Lexulous is a fun game but it often has login issues. For example, I was unable to access it yesterday on my iPhone. The website displayed a message that said, “There was a problem connecting to Lexulous.” I am unable to play it today because I am receiving two odd messages: 1. I was unable to swap tiles because Lexulous stated that “Dynamodb update failed.” 2. I was unable to play a valid word because Lexulous stated that “‘Null’ is not valid in the US dictionary.” Speaking of the US dictionary, I am also disappointed that it allows words that are archaic, from another language with unconventional spelling, or have no definition in its dictionary.

I can definitely tell the developers here really love and appreciate the play of Scrabble related games. I so appreciate Lexulous being here for so many years and having features such as the in-game dictionary, mobile phone app, touch fill in of letters (v. dragging), and post-game analysis. I also appreciate they have not added brightness and glitz that would make it physically painful for me to use. I have not been able to play online "Scrabble" since Scopely took it over as Scrabble Go. I have post-concussion syndrome (with light and visual motion sensitivity) and cannot tolerate the brightness and animations. I love that Lexulous has kept this app accessible for me and others who do not want the glitz and distractions. This supports the true love of the game and because of that I love Lexulous and I am so thankful to the developers.

Not sure when the last update was, but I think that’s when things went screwy. Every time I go to take a turn, the app makes me sign back in again with my Facebook account. Been happening over a month now. Super annoying, please fix!! 😭😭😭

I have enjoyed playing Lexulous for years. It’s a great game, but you changed something recently and now I am unable to exchange messages wit my friends.
