WordTug is the word game with a competitive pull: crosswords as a race — plus classic clued crosswords. THREE WAYS TO PLAY • Daily grid: One new board every day, the same for everyone. Build a chain of words from your edge to the star in the middle — in as few moves and as little time as possible. Share your result and check the daily leaderboard. • Endless solo: Race the ghost in real time — you both fill the same crossword, and first to the star wins. Three strengths, from easygoing to ruthless. • Classic crosswords: 20 handcrafted clued puzzles per language. Tap a slot, read the clue in the banner, and fill the whole grid. Time and mistakes are tracked, and progress is saved if you take a break. HOW THE RACE WORKS You start from your own edge and build word by word — every new word must cross a letter you already own, and every word is checked against the dictionary.
