I loved the original!!! it was seriously my most played game EVER. I'm still not sure why a new edition was created, but the old one was so much better in terms of design, & I REALLY miss being able to post photos in the app & add emotes to my friends photos!! I loved the old version of the friends page so much that the new one feels so isolating & lonely. like I can't connect with them or see their style without going to their campsites.

Very good game, until it crashes. The app won't open beyond the loading screen often. I looked online and it looks like there has been no fix for this. And none of the fixes suggested for performing on your phone work. It seems to be a bug/error in the game itself that the creators haven't fixed... so this is a waste of money, sorry.

This game is a delight. An Animal Crossing-lite experience, on the go. Keep all your friends nearby with this app. Making a Complete, post-live service edition of the game is my favorite thing Nintendo has done in the mobile space. We need more live service games to have end of service editions. Allowing people to keep what they've invested in, and earned. It just makes for really happy Customers, who keep coming back for your next experience.

Changed my review since you now have to purchase the game. Events are repetitive, door partitions don't open, and items don't seem to be getting an interesting upgrade since Nintendo has made so much off this game alone. Disappointed since this is what ANCH deserved for furniture. With it being a watered down version of a free version and DOES NOT BACK UP YOUR DATA TO YOUR NINTENDO ACCOUNT. When events end they actually dont change at midnight its 1 am so it changing the next day is a lie

Was great fun but every time I clicked on the caretaker button, it wouldn't load. So I thought I'd uninstall and reinstall the game (once again) and I go to click on my Nintendo account - then it tells me that the data can't be transferred (I'm guessing it doesn't think it exists). Bought this game after the pay wall was announced. I loved the game sm before, but now that I played it for a while, I have some complaints. For me personally the most annoying is that the custom designs are horribly pixelated and not even worth using because of how ugly they come out! And you cannot make your own. Not even a year in, the game became very boring and mundane. All of the events are copy pasted and there are almost no new items. I open the game only once per month at this point.:(

I love this version sooo much it's better than the original, you can get so many items that were originally locked behind a paywall, they mashed all the monthly subscriptions as part of the regular game play, and the events still happen edit: really sad that they won't ever update the game or add anything new again. having the game be $20 and then stopping all updates feels like a slap in the face. they don't change anything each year it's all the same stuff and events. I'm so disappointed

I think it should give players a way to search for items in the catalog, because there are literally thousands of items, and scrolling through the catalog in search of one specific item is very tiring. Happy Homeroom is missing cookie classes, too, which make leveling up there virtually impossible. I also miss birthday dialogues from villagers. Overall, very great! Also: most people who gave negative reviews haven't read what this game offers... :|

this game got me threw the dark ages. it was nice having a space to brake away. after 9 years I finally finished doing everything there is to do. I don't think I will go for a 10th year. but I recommend this game if you want a good 9 years worth of content. since you no longer have to be chained to an internet connection it's more freeing. but you should understand, this version of the game is far more simpler then the original. you won't have to play everyday to get everything like you used to

I used to love the free version of this game because of the interaction with other players. Now it's just a grinding game where the more you grind the more clothes you can collect. Just in case for some xiaomi redmi phones, if you turn screen off and then on with game still running, game will try run at 60 fps but with awful tearing(i think). In that case, it seems turning off battery saver fixes it.

Always loved this game. Took me a while to gather up the courage to spend so much money on a mobile game, but I loved it so much when it was free that I finally decided to buy it. Glad I did. Having access to all the optional paid options has made it fit my lifestyle a bit more, I am able to do more when I have the time and the camp assistant feature helps when I'm at work or sleeping. Lost everything after changing devices. Didn't even know this was a thing. Guess they need to make the fine print a little easier to find. Loved the game while I played it. I think the limit of 7 days for transferring is absurd, considering how expensive everything is. Years of progress lost just like that. Disappointed. And they won't acknowledge it even though there are plenty of other reviews stating the same issue. So here's a warning to everyone else, be cautious of your save data.
