I purchased an outfit that I never received. After much googling, it became increasingly clear that there is no simple and direct way to reach "support" (essentially there is none). Lame and disappointing that right out the gate, there is a problem regarding purchases made with real money. uninstalled. so I came back year later. Just purchased a hair from the store and did NOT receive. contacted support with no luck. I've spent real money in this game. deplorable customer service.

Avakin Life isn't what it used to be. Very few options cost avacoins and gems, while all other items cost crowns, which are only obtainable through in-app purchase... and of course the very "generous" free options to receive crowns that require endless grinding. Conveniently, all attractive items are only obtainable through crowns. Prices are very expensive, and a significant amount of real-world money is rewarded with very few crowns compared to how many are needed to purchase anything.

I’ve been playing Avakin life for such a long time. I do have to say they have improved from when they first released the game and there are a lot of bugs don’t worry I reach out to Avakin via discord and I let them know and they fix the bug pretty fast. And for making friends or doing rp, keep a low friend group and be careful who u interact with on there. And there will be weird people on there but just ignore them they are either trolling or they are being rude. So if ur a new comer I would watch out for that stuff❤️❤️

I’ve been playing Avakin Life for almost 8 years now, everything went bad when the currency of crowns were introduced. Almost everything in the store costs crowns, and it is impossible to get crowns unless you spend real money. Even items you previously bought with regular coins cost crowns now. Another thing I have an issue with is that I am stuck with one body type (which isn’t like my body at all!) and I can only change body type by having VIP.

*DONT SPEND MONEY ON A BROKEN GAME! For the last week or two, every time I try to access my game from my android, it immediately bumps me out. I updated my phone, I deleted and reinstalled the app, I made sure Avakin had all its updates. and I'm still getting the same problem. Also, your new chat filter is ridiculous... makes it virtually impossible to communicate with your friends. As another person mentioned in their review, this is also my "comfort" game.

Definitely worth it

This game is really fun. I have been using it as downtime and the only time I actually purchased something in the game is with a bundle and I would really like it if they actually brought back some of the old stuff because there’s some really cute dance moves that are just they were back in the day. They’re not around anymore, otherwise the game is really good and the progress of the quality of the items and the details of items are really good. A lot of of the people are good as well. There are just some people that are weird and usually they’re taking care of really quickly. I really like this game a lot.

Been playing this game since I was a kid(around 11 possibly younger) now I'm 21. It used to be great you know just socializing making friends. Minors play this game and are exposed to things. Besides all that, the game itself was fun at one point honestly. But now it's dead. Pay to progress. There are too many ads, ads show up whenever you move from one place to another. Everything new costs real money, and is way too expensive. The best clothes and hairs are for real money. The events are tiring, difficult and boring, the rewards are mostly ugly for masc players. Fashion contests give almost no rewards and voting is unfair. Players keep using mods and don't get banned. Players keep selling accounts and sending scams on chat. Need VIP to get good rewards. Social spots aren't social.

It’s such an awesome game! It’s for everyone, you can role play, you design characters and houses, you can have pets, and you can be a whole new person! And, no ads at all! Amazing! One thing though, when I’m designing people, the pics of the things like lips, eyes, etc, when it’s actually ON my person, it’s different. Also you have to buy ALOT of stuff. Just makes the game icky and weird to allow children to play this game now. But still have the audacity to have nsfw clothing on the game still. According to their Terms and Services that everyone skips and never reads anymore. It clearly states they allow kids 11 and up depending on the country. But the game still has inappropriate clothing options. Huge lawsuit waiting to happy. Next are the creeps and pervs still very much roaming the servers. Game needs to do what Roblox does and separate kids from the adults(but to make it way better and accurate). Avakin Life has potential to be good again I can see. They’ve decreased the prices, added more mini games, and now offer cuter clothes for less coins it seems. This game just needs better safety precautions. *Also they’ve added more ads in between switching from different servers. So every other server change there will be an ad. Game is 50/50 when it comes to F2P players. You definitely have to spend hours to get even close to getting cuter items that don’t look super dated.* *Play at your own risk*

Avakin Life once was an AMAZING game. In the last few years, it’s turned into a primarily profit focused game. As a player of 12 years now, it’s very sad to see. We used to look forward to holidays such as Halloween, Christmas, even the popular Black Friday sales with very deep discounts. Those are no longer. Events and new items are just recycled & recolored repeat items. Avakin used to offer a color wheel, so you only had to buy ONE item. Now, if you want the item in various colors, you have to buy each color separately, for crowns. Which cost REAL money. If you want body shapes, you have to pay for VIP membership. If you’ve been around a long time, you only get offered EXPENSIVE packs. Only new players get offered inexpensive crown/item packs. Veteran players have been completely left in the dust. All Avakin seems to care about anymore is their “social media influencers”. Which are all toxic. & hold contests just to select their buddies as the winners. They used to release new apartments a few times a month. Now, we only get the once every few months and they cost real money. Cannot tell you the last time they sold a NEW apartment for coins (which was Avakin’s old currency). Gems are all but useless, no new items for gems either. The 18+ verification is silly, no cool items for sale for 18+ users, the 18+ servers are dead and they’re too cheap to even offer free gifts at the 18+ servers. Chats are also still censored even for 18+ users, in the servers, private homes AND private messages. They take out money and forget all about us. More incentives for ppl that have paid for more would be nice. A review of what Avakin once was, prior to 2021 is VERY needed. Lastly, the game is infested with pervs & trolls. Ppl get banned and come right back under NEW accounts. Avakin needs to start banning device IDs. These ppl bully, harass, spread lies & come right back under multiple dummy accounts. PLEASE-when you ban someone-start banning their device IDs associated to their accounts. It is the only way to ever stop these ppl who are participating in destroying what’s left of this game. Other games like Roblox do it. Why can’t you?

Fix the apartment previews, PLEASE

- Being forced to watch an ad every time I leave an apartment just forces me to QUIT THE APP - While the “Preview” for apartments/homes is helpful to see what you are actually getting before buying, I always get a “must be 18 to see this” and having to do age verification, which doesn’t even work, is a big time-waster. I have to back out of the property listing, and re-enter, to hopefully be able to enter a “family-friendly) preview site. Shouldn’t a site everyone can access be the default? - Additionally, ALL of the preview sites are so cluttered with ridiculous decor (even one that has decor actually blocking the room change arrows!) that you can’t even see what you are really getting…the decor blocks the features of the site. I’m talking laser lights everywhere, miscellaneous horror decor splattered in every part of the space…ridiculous wall & floor coverings…how is one supposed to see what they are actually buying from these lame previews?! - 👉🏼 Having an actual preview of the undecorated property would be really helpful.

Glitchy and laggy

I love the game, but lately it’s so glitchy. If this keeps up I’m honestly going to quit playing. I’ve been a player for about 6 years snd I’m a VIP. 7 fully decorated houses too :(. I’ve spend several hundreds maybe even over 1000$ dollars on the game since I’ve started so it’s really a disappointment.

This game is not for underaged children

There are many men around the world who can play this game and there’s many children around the world who also have access to this game. This game is allowed for children only 13+ and other children who are considered the age of consent in other foreign countries. Which in reality, aren’t adults who know what “consent” even is. In this game, the children can buy clothing which are indecent, string-like-nightwear, and can purchase poses that are provocative. This is what catches the attention of those men who are usually 30+ (I know because I’ve played) and those men always tend to sexually talk to these children. Sometimes it’s not about the clothes. This game should only allow those of 18+ to have access to this game. Some of those men don’t mind the age difference or the fact that they are children. Outside the fashion aspect of the game and the housing, when it comes to being in the servers at the same time as these men, they will ALWAYS approach wanting a specific type of online pleasure. Do not let your kids play this because the developers don’t care about this problem which arises. They allow children to play this knowing that this is an issue within the Avakin community. Shame on the developers for not doing anything about this problem.

I’ve been playing for about eight years almost nine I love this game so much! The only thing I don’t like is us gothic women really wish for more delirious items and more gothic clothing we don’t get seen that much on the game sadly but other than that I really enjoy playing especially with my friends
