A thrilling mix of dungeon defence and roguelike
Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is a Rogue-Like Dungeon-Defense game in which you and your team of heroes must protect the generator of your crashed ship while exploring an ever-expanding dungeon, all while facing waves of monsters and special events as you try to find your way out. The Apogee Edition of Dungeon Of The Endless includes the full game and five DLCs. WHAT’S BEHIND THE DOOR? A few hundred condemned criminals were being shipped to the Auriga system on board the prison hulk “Success”. While this was presented as a chance to earn back their place in society by working hard for the common good, they understood that in fact they would be slave labour, sent to colonize an unexplored planet. All they knew about Auriga Prime was what the probes told them: it had water, temperate zones, plant life, and plenty of metals in the crust. In fact, the planet Auriga once hosted a major settlement of the galaxy-travelling ancestors known as the Endless. In addition, the planet was still orbited by a functioning (and well cloaked) defensive system, which sprang eagerly to life upon the arrival of the Success. Within a few minutes, the ship was nothing but a few large chunks of metal falling toward the planet. Luckily, every set of holding cells also functioned as an escape pod, so the ship let itself disintegrate and the surviving prisoners fell bruised but (temporarily) alive and (momentarily) safe to the planet below. Safe, that is, until they realized that they had crashed through some sort of Endless facility, all the way down to a sub-basement so deep and ancient it might as well be called a dungeon… Gather A Team • Form a team of heroes, each with their own strengths (and psychoses) • Equip them, deploy them, and earn powerful abilities • Manage the balance between ex-prison inmates and guards Build Your Defenses • Use the Dust you gather to power the rooms • Use scarce resources to help your team survive • Build minor and major modules to hold off waves of monsters • Decode Endless ruins to discover life-saving technologies Open the Door • Each door is a danger; prepare yourself and your team for anything • Explore and discover an infinity of levels and layouts • Carry your crystal through waves of monsters to the exit of each level • Fight your way to the surface to discover the truth about Auriga The Apogee Edition includes the following add-ons • DEEP FREEZE: New ship, New game mode and New character • DEATH GAMBLE: New merchant • RESCUE TEAM: Three new characters, New monsters, New major module • ORGANIC MATTERS: New ship, New game mode, New character, New minor modules, New monsters • BOOKWORM: New ship, New character Carefully Redesigned for Mobile • Revamped interface • Cloud Save • Pay once to get the full Dungeon of the Endless game and 5 DLCs! it's a game
- Conor McGillycuddy · v1.3.21
Good mobile port. I have played this since the PC version. Should add an alternate way to power/depower rooms, it mistouch sometimes and really annoy, especially at critical moments.
- Hau Tran · v1.3.21
I got a new phone and the game just keeps crashing every time I try to start the app I try clearing the data and the cache still doesn't work. I dont know if it's my phone or something else.
- Omar Gonzalez · v1.3.21
Great combination of tower defense and roguelike!
- Bo Im · v1.3.21
still learning. and my wife loves it and she's picky and generally wants her own games to like so we're not at each other's throats (in the game). luckily this one gets a pass.
- Eric E P · v1.3.21
It's one of my favorite PC games and it's on my phone. what's not to love?
- J Angel · v1.3.21
unique real-time strategy/RPG/Tower Defense from SEGA and it's pissing me off. which is high praise, because I'm playing it anyway.
- Noel D. Smith (nds80) · v1.3.21
I really wish it was brighter. can't that be done?
- Mr Nemo · v1.3.21
I like that the levels are short and I can play as much or as little as I want. If you love difficulty and planning you can crank up the difficulty, but i personally like playing on "Easy" because it's still fun to pass time with while I'm waiting for something. I dont notice much of the strategizing because its an RTS, so some features are lost on my smaller phone. All together, I think it's worth what it's charged for.
- Alexander E. · v1.3.21
the game has no clear progression. vague instruction. poor and confusing UI.
- Wayne · v1.3.21
it's a little bit repetitive but fun
- Eugene Floreen · v1.3.21

- Maia Kopenhaver · v1.3.21
It's good, I wish there was multiplayer like in PC version.
- Grzegorz Ostapiuk · v1.3.21
great but not as easy to play as the PC game due to limitations of touch, but still great
- Ben Collar · v1.3.21
good mobile version of the game. UI can be small at times.
- Michael Fielding · v1.3.21
It's just mobile port of same title but there're more to it along with the reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 side note : The control while not as fluid as PC it still working very well and fine tuned for mobile device. The meat : INCONSISTENCY. so after redownload on STEAM. the loots pool from drop/shop are POLAR OPPOSITE. The drop/shop items are a lot variable and unique on mobile while on PC you have 5 million prison uniform and some weakass pistol along with ton of duplicated item pools.
- Big BlackCat · v1.3.21
great so far
- Brian Fuller · v1.3.21

- Quickordoa's Outside Living · v1.3.21

This is a great game, I love playing this on PC. However this is quite uncomfortable to play on my phone, I wish it was easier to play handheld
- Felipe Salvagni Watanabe · v1.3.21
Challenging but more fun on the PC
- M DR · v1.3.21
Awesome Experience.
- D.J. Kleinke · v1.3.21
Fantastic, entertainingly challenging not sure if that's a word but yea 😭
- Sibonisile Sihele · v1.3.21
complex and intriguing, and whimsically punishing
- Cory Slater · v1.3.21
a wonderful game if it actually worked and didn't crash every 5 mins
- NICx2
Played this game a insane amount in HS. It is truly a gem, created by a talented dev team on their spare time!!
- Reid Hampton · v1.3.21
Well designed progressive fun.
- Dilley Jacob · v1.3.21
the game is too dark for me
- Jade Tingson · v1.3.21

- Jose Sosa (Q) · v1.3.21
Great game, plays well. Crashes way too often. If it wasn't for the auto save per floor I wouldn't even play. Edit: They fixed it, great game!
- Michael Miller · v1.3.21
Fun and technical
- David Eller · v1.3.21
To complicated for these game. skip
- Laurensius Arief Rahman
as what others think of this game with a unique concept, and I personally love it. But the control on the mobile is off tune. It will be nice if the game gets a nice patch.
- Jiayangta Kee · v1.3.21
This is one of my all time favorite games on Steam. The mobile controls take a little getting used to, but they are perfectly serviceable. A Bluetooth mouse would make it a perfect port. Amplitude, please make more like this, and less like the sequel.
- Eknight01 “Eknight01” · v1.3.21
a classic that plays well on mobile.
- William O'Toole · v1.3.21
Lacks the Multiplayer element.
- Hiro Protagonist
not what I expected
- Deigo Vinluan · v1.3.21
It takes a little practice to understand the nuances of skills and individual character...... ummm.... characteristics? The stats and skills vary from character to character. so, it takes time to learn each. I think it's a great rogue style sci-fi dungeon crawler.
- Kenneth “Mike” Savoy · v1.3.21
I removed my last 4* review, the mobile version has some game breaking bugs, it's unplayable and it's sad because the pc game is great, menu and map feels clanky, Sasha's pets are bugged (still up when they die ) that fcks up the waves completely and operating characters sometimes can't operate in small rooms for some reason, something has to be done please...
- Cynorra Swe-d · v1.3.21
On a phone, the interface is too small and too dark. It sapped my desire to keep playing on dark levels and work out how building worked after the super brief in game tutorial. It might be more fun on a tablet or computer monitor.
- David
It's a really good game. But after like 4 deaths and 1 actual survival.... I'm still not sure how you're supposed to make sure that you get even get to the exit with confidence! It seemed blind luck that in that run they didn't seem to come from the exit route and I just ran for it 🤭🤷🏾♀️
- Brey · v1.3.21
I bought this game for PC back in 2014 when it came out and I bought it again for mobile this year. In short, it is kind of a hybrid of tower defense and dungeon crawler. It's a must-have for any collection. It doesn't take too long to figure it out, but it will never be a walk in the park. If you're a fan of hardcore roguelikes then you'll sink hours and hours into this game .
- Riley Sousa · v1.3.21
Game is awesome in concept, and if you love rogue likes and don't mind insane difficulty BUT, the controls on Mobile need slight reworking : Need to be able to execute the skills easier, currently need to switch to a single character
- Stephen Lee · v1.3.21
Super neat tower defense and roguelike! Once you understand the basics it's quite fun :D
- Joshua Kabatay · v1.3.21
Great game for a Roguelike RTS style. wish it had controller support though.
- Sam S · v1.3.21
game was decent and had things going for it but... whatever the devs just did to raise the already far too high level of difficulty makes the game anything but fun, even on very easy. I am not sure why the devs think they should be making the game more difficult, but I am sure that is not the correct route. perhaps I will try again in a year or so.. but honestly the experience was not as impressive as it ought to have been..
- Christopher Ferrin · v1.3.21
Crashes on start after download - after hitting 'New game'
- James Collier · v1.3.21
When the Vultu looter time out, they don't disappear.
- 012 นิพัธิ กกแก้ว · v1.3.21
it's alright
- Andrew Young · v1.3.21
