I love incremental games, but depth is an issue with a lot if them. Not so with this one. I've played the demo alone for hours, and I'm still finding new stuff. 100% worth the cost. Best idle/incremental game I've played in years.

it all falls apart when you have to fight the dungeon boss, maybe I'm just bad at the game, I start the game, I do the stupid chores of managing my wood and my electric because you never have enough output to do everything so you have to manually choose. I go into the dungeon to fight the boss, lose. then I do the same thing tomorrow and lose again! you know there gonna be an even harder boss after this one so it's never enough all the passive buffs and active attacks and eating the berries.

i love the game, especially not having ads in this day. the only issue i have is when i try to scroll on any menu in the game if i dont slowly scroll the game game does a "rubber band" effect where if im scrolling down it will immediately scroll up even further and vice versa.

I'm pretty far in the game and I've noticed a conflicting system: I unlocked divination and it states that random events become rare the longer a run goes. But when I click retirement, it suggests I keep going to advance, because I wont get any benefit of a retirement. Even though the game is getting hard. Maybe this is a flaw that needs to be addressed.

pretty good but could you fix the smart apprentice conflicting with the nature evocations? They stop at 10 seconds cuz it doesn't realize the poison stacks and if I turn it off then everything thing isn't as efficient

Definitely not "idle" (requires dozens of hours of active gameplay to be completed). Challenging, engaging, one of the best games in the store if you do not care about graphics.

It has been years since I've played a game that was so satisfying, so well designed, so beautiful, and with idle mechanics so nicely woven with beautiful stories, that I regret not being able to experience the game for the first time ever again. If you've liked Kittens Game, this game will certainly scratch that itch, but I argue that Magic Research is better designed with no loose ends. Magic Research is the best example of what idle/incremental games should be. Please give it a chance!

This is a very good idle game and worth the buy. The writing creates a fun narrative, there are no additional costs and the systems are well thought out. The sequel is better, true, but this is a very solid idle game and I highly recommend it.

Exceptional examle of what the genre should aim to achieve. I feel even people who haven't played an idle before would benefit from this being their first experience. Really good pacing, whenever I felt stuck there was always something to figure out. there is an end, which is important for addictive games like this. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic progression, last few challenges just weren't for me and a little repetitive so I finished after my first full run but fantastic game overall. knowing what I know now I would pay 10 bucks for a game like this. (also check out the second one, it's better than this one but you should play this one first)

Ok at first, no pay to win, ads, or social media tie in nonsense.👍👍 However once you progress a bit you can often hit a wall with only one path forward *and then* you wait 2 or 3 hours for upgrade **BUT OFFSCREEN TIME ONLY PAY 10 OR 15% OF ACTIVE SCREEN TIME** which would be bad enough but a course after a min or so your phone shuts down like every mobile app.

This is one of the best games I have ever played on a phone. The story is incredible and there's lots of reading. don't play if you don't enjoy reading. It's well written, well made, and fun to play over and over. there's a feature where you retire, but you get bonuses to help you on your next run . that feature is incredible and it makes the game very replayable. But there's not an unlimited amount of rewards you can only get 100 achievements . there's a perk attached to each achievement!

I played for 98 hours before completing (almost) everything. Very enjoyable. Will likely wipe my progress and play again, especially if there's any updates. Worth the purchase! Edit: latest phone update for Pixels has caused the 'gesture bar' that's at the bottom of the screen to overlap your mana/sec. There's no way to remove the gesture bar (thanks Google 😭) and it makes it very hard to read my mana count.

I'm just about to 100% this game, finishing everything including the endgame challenges, and it's easily one of the best mobile RPGs I've ever played! Progress is fair, challenges are fun, strategy is needed, and the dev included some very clever secrets/easter eggs! The game is great and super addicting. My biggest issues are not having a way to make it continue killing mobs offline however that's mostly solved with using the time warp or speeding up game time so I'm not really concerned with it. The only other thing is the stupid bandits bro! Like I'm supposed to be a powerful wizard at this point and you're telling me I can't kill some bandits when I come across them and instead lose gold every single time? bro that's ridiculous. Love the game tho!

This is a fantastic premium game with no external boosters. All advancement is natural progression by discovery. Any skill gates have to be thought through and not bought through. It's two weeks olto finish if you commit to it and I am actively depressed that there's not more outside of challenges, but the literal storyline is satisfying to complete! Now I have to buy the second game! Ugh!
