Grandpa always was a little eccentric. A fantastic engineer, he was always buried in his work, always coming up with new ideas and inventions that as a child held you wide-eyed in awe. Now, after many years, you return to the house that holds so many fond memories for you, with a promise from Grandpa to show you something truly amazing. You can't even begin to imagine what it could be! It's a dark and stormy night as you arrive at Grisly Manor. The rain beats down hard, lightning flashes in the sky as the sound of thunder fills your ears. You already feel a little creeped out, but when you make your way inside, the house is curiously empty. Grandpa is nowhere to be found! But his presence is everywhere. Familiar objects have been re-engineered to create puzzles for you. Clues abound, and as each puzzle is solved, the solution to others present themselves. As well as new puzzles, of course. Grandpa obviously spent a lot of time making sure that nobody could solve the myriad of puzzles strewn about the house. Nobody but you, his favorite grandchild... Can you solve the mystery of Grisly Manor? Features: • Beautiful hand-painted graphics that draw you into this mesmerizing adventure! • Lots of items to collect and puzzles to solve! • Original soundtrack and sound effects! • A journal that keeps track of all the symbols and clues that you encounter. • A dynamic map that shows all of the areas you have explored, as well as your current location. • A complete hint system built right into the game. • The Secret of Grisly Manor has been translated into many languages. • Available for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad!

I enjoy adventure games, but most are a little scary for younger kids. I like to play sometimes with my kids that are 4 and 6 years old. Grisly Manor is not scary for kids, but also is clever enough with fun puzzles that require thinking. The kids can still complete things, but it is also fun to discover things as an adult. We've played most of Fire Maple games together and they are all fun.
- Kwiese2 · v1.9.12
I was looking forward to a new mystery game. I think it took me about 30 min to finish. Very disappointed
- Lizziefish1 · v1.9.12
i played this game all the time when i was little, so often i memorized it! a great puzzle game with great original art and score! thank you for keeping this on the app store, i can’t wait to play it again:)
- Weeeeeeooooo · v1.9.12
Waiting for hints is excruciating & no location jumps on the map - negatives. Story and puzzles- great!
- MagooMac · v1.9.12
Please help, it won’t play any sound
- bajos1929 · v1.9.12
I have played these games for years, and love them. There are some bugs in this one though, but that’s unusual for these games. They are the best games
- mimisu77 · v1.9.10
I LOVE this game. It is literally my childhood. When I was younger I would spend the night at my Grammys house with my cousin and we would play this and the lost city. This gave me so much nostalgia when I downloaded it again. I got it today and I still remember how to beat the game in 5 minutes. I absolutely love this game sm

i do
- Kali Ruth steter · v1.9.9
Was a lot of fun, and I know it was only a buck, but hoped for a bit more than 15 minutes of play time.
- bennifer2003 · v1.9.9
Can I get my money back? The game doesn’t work, the clues don’t work, the map doesn’t work and you can’t even finish the game because some of the puzzles don’t work. I will apply it towards another game but this is not cool
- ijnuhbv6rf · v1.9.8
I have played this when I was younger and I have played all of the others and loved them to! Can’t wait for a new game ( hopefully Grizzly Manor 3!)
- fletcha source Rex · v1.9.8
I played this like a year ago and I’m still going back to it. It’s soooooooo fun
- PizzazLion65 · v1.9.8
Played this game several years ago. I bought again for my iPhone and the hints don’t work.
- Lib0808 · v1.9.8
It’s good if you like searching for clues and solving puzzles. Story line was a little to simplistic and the game too short.
- More of God · v1.9.8
I spent a dollar on this game and I literally finished it in 10 minutes. Wasn’t even fun do not recommend.
- natertot46 · v1.9.8
I enjoyed playing the game but it was much too short, especially after Lost City. It was also way too easy. For example, instead of finding a blunt instrument that you had to think for a moment what to do with, you found an ice pick. Hmm, wonder what you do with that?
- yodokus · v1.9.8
I am a fan of the Fire Maple games. Grisly Manor benefits from the forethought that went into making the puzzles fit in with the story and the environments (as opposed to the games which just make you bounce from one slider puzzle to another combination lock puzzle just to retrieve items that make no sense in the storyline). The puzzles are at a medium level of difficulty (just hard enough to make you think, but far from exasperating). This game, like all of Fire Maple’s games, is a welcome relief from the gloomy, creepy settings and atmosphere in most of the games in this genre. The music is pleasant, the visuals are colorful, and the sense of humor is quirky and amusing, which makes for a stress-free puzzle-solving experience. The journal and the map are useful features, as well. Overall, even though this game is probably the shortest of Fire Maple’s games (makes sense, considering this was their first game) it’s a nice, calm way to spend a few hours, and scratch that puzzling itch.
- Kroz Hog · v1.9.8
Breezes through the puzzles too quickly and they weren’t very interesting. Feels really clunky and was finished in about 30 minutes. Not worth a dollar.
- Thelyfe · v1.9.8
I bought this thinking it was a full length game. Finished what is essentially a short chapter in under a half hour then got offered chapters/adventures for additional money. Not about to spend more for such short play. Look elsewhere.
- GrubbyGrapes · v1.9.8
Played it as a kid and it has lot of memories I love it
- Jaysbunny76 · v1.9.8
The game is fun, but too short. The second one (Return to Grisly Manor) is a lot longer and a lot better. Get that.
- JustANormalDude · v1.9.8
I actually played the second installment of this game first (return to grisly manor) and it was excellent!! Very enjoyable and just the right level of challenge. If I had played this one first, perhaps I would have been less disappointed because it does not hold a candle to the second game! I finished this game in about an hour and there was no challenge and little fun to be had. I will still try another game or two by this developer but this one was a bust.
- Annikki1 · v1.9.8
Just when you find grandpa, and he tells you this thrilling stuff, it ends!! I thought it was just getting started! Good for the age of the game graphics-wise, puzzles are interesting. No hidden object scenes, thankfully. Cannot justify a higher rating when the game is this short.
- Ajax713 · v1.9.8
Not worth the money. Needs to be much longer. Was less than an hour. If they were a better value I would give 4 or 5 stars. Similar to glitch games forever lost but I think a little easier.
- kariwr · v1.9.8
Por qué no viene en español ?
- jaime narvaez · v1.9.8
way too short and easy :( Disappointed.
- Natalianochka · v1.9.8
I love all of the fire maple games🥰 Please make more🤓
- Doots mcquire face harry · v1.9.8
Downloaded latest update and now the game will not run at all.
- Joe_SD · v1.9.8
I can’t get the log in the fireplace to go away after pouring water on it so I can get the weight to go on to the next part. It keeps telling me there’s a log in the fire but it won’t burn, I’ve used many matches trying! Please fix!
- Crochet Junkie · v1.9.7
When I was way younger I downloaded this game and the Lost City on onto my nook (I think they were the only ones available at the time). I played them for hours and hours. At the beginning they were difficult for me. But I just kept playing until I could speed run my way through it. Life happened and I forgot about these games until last week. Since my nook wasn’t working I spent hours on the internet trying to search these games. Eventually I found them and they were as amazing as ever. Although I did notice a few changes. The Easter eggs weren’t there before (and I’m curious as to what they are for. I only have 2/4 games (ran out of money) so I’m presuming you need to find the eggs in all four games). Also when I played it as a child, grandfather wasn’t in the basement. It was a chalk board or something with a note. (Im only kinda complaining about that bc grandpa does not have the same look as the game)
- I Love ColorSwitch · v1.9.6
Fun and absorbing adventure game. Loved the old house setting. Puzzles just the right level of difficulty-not too easy but not frustrating. Adventure in a lovely old mansion is just what I had been seeking. Played this first and then discovered the original game Secrets of Grisly Manor so bought that. Hope they make a third one.
- 957319 · v1.9.6
I paid for this game on my phone and tablet. I can’t exit out of a room. There is no back button. Once I go into a room, I cannot exit out of it. Why? I want to play the game. If I can’t, then I wasn’t money back.
- mvz85 · v1.9.6
This would be a good game for beginners, but for those who have played a lot of this type of game, you will find this too easy and very short. Puzzles are simple and easy to solve.
- KaraDeanne · v1.9.5
I knocked it out in just under 2 hrs, but entertaining.
- Mikbeed · v1.9.4
Fun, but took all of 20 minutes to finish.
- Bad Zynga · v1.9.4
I love these Fire Maple games. Complex and challenging!
- Doah73 · v1.9.4
Point and click adventure with beautiful graphics and easy puzzles that are fun to solve, hint system incorporated as well as convenient map, journal records clues for you automatically, inventory bag shows items at your disposal, music adds to the experience and is subdued (not intrusive), ending is rewarding. Fair price for well made and fun albeit short game. Leaves you wanting to play their other games...
- Occ4sional G4mer · v1.9.4
I literally love these games, they are all so amazing. Can't wait for a new one!
- SweetlySwanky · v1.9.4
I downloaded this game. I love this kind of games. But I was disappointed in this one. It was very short and took me about 10 minutes to do. I suggest not getting this game if you are very good at them I suggest not getting this game at all don't waste your money on this game.
- themurph28 · v1.9.4
Only took me 20 minutes! Waste of money
- Merriemama · v1.9.4
A (very) short, but fun point and click game.
- ShammyWham · v1.9.4
Liked the game until I encountered a bug that thwarted me from continuing the game. When I was supposed to close the door to the secret room then rented through the other entrance, the door was always locked. I paid for this game so this is a HUGE disappointment/bug/error. I would like my money back
- Teneycka · v1.9.4
I really enjoyed playing this game. Adventure and puzzles. Just what I was looking for. Thanks Fire Maple Games!
- PArcher · v1.9.4
Fun game! Could be longer.
- Bjbigdaddydena · v1.9.4
I don't think it took me more than an hour to finish the game. The game was fun while it lasted, though.
- FoxShepard · v1.9.4
Loved the game, but it was way too short. I was through it in an hour. I would rather pay another dollar or two and get a game that will last a few hours. Still like their games regardless.
- CreativeDesign1212 · v1.9.4
Lasted maybe 30 minutes. Not worth the money.
- Bmcnicho · v1.9.4
I purchased a 3game set. This game, while completely enjoyable, lasted about three minutes and then it was over! Very strange!
- LANNORI · v1.9.4
I first downloaded the lost city, and loved every minute. Then I couldn't do without playing the other games. Love, love, love it!! More please!!
- Pharmgirl98 · v1.9.4
Short play time, but very enjoyable. Would have given fewer stars if it wasn't free.
- Gjhguyfvjgvn · v1.9.4
