Overgeared Hero: Merge RPG

excellent base game, but it gets real grindy fast and relies on ads to get you decent progression. Had a fun two weeks with it, but ultimately a singleplayer only version of this would be stellar and would have gladly paid like $10-15 for it. Instead. Lots of ads.

I hoped to work with a simple, casual experience... yet, I feel as if people are abusing the funds and so much more to obtain absurd amounts of power through special items and currencies, while I'm left in the dust because I refuse to spend a penny for a single in-game package that offers unique items. If the game is gonna be this unfairly balanced, I'm not playing it anymore.

uninstalled once I found out that backpack unlocks only for single type of heroes. For the same copy in different graphics of the same games it's more invasive with ads and slowed progression.

They can't be happy human beings who feel they are living upto the person inside them that wanted to become a Game Developer. Progression just too ridiculously slow in order to force you to spend money. need certain items to defeat certain bosses but they never show up in the store. again, to make you spend money. the gear unlock progression is also horrendous. rogue legend puts this game to shame because it's not forced paid progression.

Stuck loading at the title screen. Restarted my phone, cleared cache and app data, switched between WiFi and mobile data, uninstalled and re-installed the game, and still, the 1/3 loaded bar taunts me. Can't play the game at all.

I like this game and want to be serious but can you give more explanation of the effects in game, like vamp, how much you recovered, like is it base on on-hit itself or the damage after reduction. like fire and poison, I noticed like fire most time have duration but poison is not, and how the damage tick and does affected by the damage increase and deduction? there are also other effects that can only check while in dungeon, but it's nice if I can check in codex and build my built accordingly

Almost got to chapter 10 and it's seriously impossible to collect ANY epic or Legendary hero. I have to say it's HEAVY Pay 2 Win because there's absolutely no way you're going to get an epic or Legendary hero from their event that is about to end in 17 hours. Absolutely fun game and true to the ads! Great visuals, really fun and difficult fights that need good strategy which makes wins even better. Asides paying for the biggest backpack to make gameplay easier, everything else can be earned through grinding. Please don't stop adding content!

Low pressure progression that can still have thoughtful gameplay AND without a flood of forced ads. Good low commitment fun. Can use some balance changes, as in my experience the mage archetype is severely lacking all around even with time put into a proper backpack setup which is a real shame.

The game is great, clearly a lot of effort in it's mechanics and art style, and it makes your brain work. I would rate the game five stars if not for the things that come out of the chests being terrible, at least for now. P2W. The best backpack in an inventory game can't be obtained by playing. Begginer quests that don't show up until you're a week in have a quest that requires an unspecified purchase. Pet skills are way too restricted and in some places can't be used at all. Enemy scaling is messed up - lose because you need basic stats, not strategy or even luck matter. Many delays between interactions. No boundary between "additional" AD reward and having "optional" AD boost everywhere, even 2/turn.

I'm pretty early on, but so far it seems very high quality. I do see an energy mechanic, which I'm not a very big fan of, but the other micro transactions aren't pushed in your face too egregiously. Edit: Wow, I really didn't expect it to be this good, bumping my review up to 4 stars! There's a lot more to the game than you'd initially think, since you gradually unlock new features as you complete more of the game.

The game is for sure an absolute blast to play, but it is held back by the fact you need to pay money for a full backpack. Besides that eventually the game slows down alot and you'll most likely be stuck losing to the same boss over and over for awhile.
