Overgeared Hero: Merge RPG

Fun game, I enjoy the Main quest line. this will sound a bit weird at first but there is way to much stuff to do. I dont want 50 different menus and events and challenges, I dont want to see 100 red notification bubbles on every part of my screen every time I log in. Also, they used AI in their advertising,which is lazy and trashy. If youre capable of making a game like this,you can shed some money a real person to make your ad,not chatgpt.

The loading screen is so long. After that, you won't be able to play this without paying for removal of ads. After that, you have to repeat previous levels manually because you cannot beat the current level. After that, the quests are repetitive. Bad news? Yes!

I love the game, but I have an issue. I had to purchase the ranger full backpack expansion a second time after paying for it once. I made the purchase once, and had to restart after a long loading time. When I went back in the game, I had to buy it again.

Game is fun, easy to idle, I wish you could have a way to extend rounds because I was about to have three legendary weapons but ended up beating the final enemy before I could make it happen. Ads are a tiny bit pervasive but money is money, fair enough. Otherwise, game is great so far. If there's a paywall, I haven't hit it yet. Good game.

EDIT: Upon buying the bigger pack it is significantly easier to manage the pack, however I dont think anyone should have to buy a pack at all, the bigger one should just be standard. If the gear you equip to your character was not put into your pack or if they were able to merge with other items, I would probably keep playing this game. However they take up to much room and are to good to get rid of making the merging part pointless to me.

Didn't try the later unlocked features. Beginning game emphasis is to reorganize gear combos for max affinity. You have to really like that RPG element. As soon as you beat one enemy, you revisit shop, get upgrade options and now have to reorganize your items in a new interlocking affinity layout. FF7 materia meets Xcom loadouts, the majority of your time in this game is organizing your backpack's layout

I'm a veteran player. Trust me the game isnt worth it . Either you enjoy spending money or you dont play this game. Even if you're willing to spend , go spend on other games . There's a whole lot that's x10 better than this . Let me tell you one of many reason this isnt the game , you can have a same/better build than the person who passed a certain stage and even having way higher power than him but you'll still fail . The game isn't half bad, it has its own somewhat concept, a good scaling system and somewhat sufficient rewards considering this type of games, but what I can't stand is how awful the optimization of the game is. I tried on android and had a terrible experience, UI was laggy, I kept pressing buttons but it operates super delayed, loading is damn laggy, and the overall gameplay is just choppy. I tried in pc still bad as hell. I can stand the pay2win system but with the gameplay this bad, I can't.

I got to chapter 24 and then gave up. I played for a couple weeks and never got a Legendary character--it is so needlessly hard to get one. I don't want to play as a lame, faceless character. Like others have said, this is a fun game with a great aesthetic, but the pay-to-win aspect is terrible. Why can't devs understand that paying to unlock characters and game mechanics kills your player base. I'm happy to pay for cosmetic stuff if the core of the game is free. Can't recommend this one.

My in game name got screened as a curse word and they defaulted my name to something dumb. I submitted a ticket and they want me to spend money to change my name. the profanity filters are busted and you can't even say in-game item names or pet names in chat because they get screened as profanity. Totally disappointed with the developers.

the game kinda fun. There're 3 classes(with multiple heroes) in the game. each class have their own bag, basic gear and merging recipe. you can rotate item in your inventory. you can keep items you might need for later in reserve inventory. but there're few thing I don't like about the game: 1. the largest bags are locked behind the paywall. 2. some enemies need specific item to win; which I have to keep refresh shop until I get it. or face defeat eventually.

fun game concept but it doesn't take much time at all to start feeling the ceiling that free-to-play provides. The game is very upfront with micro-transactions being the true avenue to having fun, and it just makes the vibe of the game as a free-to-play player just constantly feel off. I see on the horizon of my next playthrough that it'll be against a near impossible opponent and my free upgrades won't be enough unless I put in a lot of hours, watch a lot of ads, or cave in and spend money.

One of the greediest games I've seen. You can't go two screens without it throwing an ad in your face asking you to spend money. Every single aspect of the game can be greased with money. There's like a hundred different purchases available to make in this game. The core merging gameplay WAS interesting, but unfortunately they bogged it down with random elements like pets and auras and heroes just so they can sell you the premium versions of those. Very disappointing.

I spent money to be competitive in a new server, finally managed to make it to the top.. then what do they do? merge the server with people that have been playing for months instead of a week. The game is pretty fun, however I got a message for those just starting, SAVE YOUR GEMS! Don't buy anything with them if you don't plan on buying anything with IRL cash because once you unlock the hero feature and are able to look at the various characters you can play as, some are available but cost 5K, others become free once you reach a certain chapter. I didn't know I'd be stuck with default swordfighter so I used my gems on getting equipment and now im stuck like this until I get 5K gems.
