poor parody. not worth a single $

Easily my favorite deck building game. Great variety and challenges. It's the only game I've gone back to for years and never get tired of it. Plus you can play it offline, which is super useful.
- Ryan Runyan · v4.13
YES -- it's HARD, but definitely the best of this kind of tactical battle card game I've played yet! Game is only a buck and without Ads. Most everything is unlockable via coins earned from game play. Respectable In-App purchases to support the app. Also just a great looking, super addictve game the doesn't require internet to play (but needed for syncing saved games and making purchases). Have some fun, matees! 🦜🏴☠️ Edit: I think the Carpenter character has the lamest starting deck 🥱
- Brandon Jimenez · v4.13
they scammed me 🤮
- F!XO 2
Awesome game. I keep coming back to it from time to time. I just hope that the developers will add more levels in the future.
- Vali Popescu
Lost 20 hours of progress after uninstalling and reinstalling the game. All saved logs are at the same time and with the same progress and they are all wrong because I had way more repute, unlocked maps, and completed quests at that logged time. I had bought the 2x progress so now it's like I never bought it. 6 saved files exactly equal and all wrong is nonsense.
- Lorenzo Yoichi
pay to win game..
- Michael Zerbe · v4.13
one of my favorite deck building games. Unfortunately the in all purchases and deliberately slow progression to force players to spend money is just bad game design. It's not like this was a free game. I can understand cosmetics, but paywalls to game mechanics and progression is scummy and makes what could be a great game only okay

kill the tower 3
- bungus · v3.70
what's the point of paying a dollar for this game only to have in app purchases too? I know they're not necessary but it still takes the fun out of the game. it wasn't very interesting from the start but I hoped it would be enough to justify the dollar but it just isn't good
- Wyatt Demiter
well theres a dollar i will never get back. no instructions, no clue how the mechanics work, no tutorial. stuck on an island with no way forward and no help. it amazes me how this game has a better rating than hearthstone. People really need to rate games honestly.
- Kirk Berryhill · v4.13
loved this card game ♥️ it wasn't hard just need little bit of reading ~~~
- Hayami E · v4.13
ove this game. Quick mention; I've purchased the Monkey (First Mate) but when I've reinstalled it on my new phone, it's requesting a re-purchase? Can we fix this please? editing my review until I get a reply - 1/5.

"Fun game but the text is too small. Please add a UI scale."
- Jebediah · v4.13
fun, but need some improvements overall

why can't i sync on my android?

- Valbjorn Herulf · v4.13
Very poorly balanced you'll get enemies that can deal 25-30 damage in 1 turn which is mostly half of your health. Just buy Slay the spire if you want this type of game there's a reason that game is so successful.
- madman Taylor · v4.13
amazing game
- Kai Papworth · v4.13
I cannot overstate how much I love this game. Well worth the money I spent. It has adorable graphics and just a really fun gameplay experience. I probably have over 30 hours on the game already and it is not boring in the slightest. Each character involves a new challenge and lots of mini challenges keep it fresh. I only wish skins were cheaper and there were more ways to get gold as it will take many more hours to completely get all I want. This is my favorite mobile game and thank you devs!
- Russell Robinson · v4.13
enjoying it! it would be nice to have daily or weekly quests to obtain gold needed to buy characters. 8000 can take quite a bit of grinding to obtain.
- Jeremy Jordan · v4.13
Esse jogo é incrível
- Migames · v4.13
A good game. But the lack of any tutorial, or explanatory notes, makes it a frustrating experience. I shouldn't have to go searching online to find the information I need to play a game I've just paid money for.
- John Marc Hughes · v4.13
fun
- Gods Watching · v4.13
Best mobile game - Interesting enough and would play to shut brain off to go to sleep
- Tommy Stanley · v3.70
This game is good, the concept is promising and has a unique touch but there are things that I would like to suggest, make the game progressive and interactive, let the player grow strong constantly not resting at very death aleast lose a few cards, add crew to the turn base play just like how the opposite side, show the crew being built as the hero adventures let them recruit, add a little even little animation to the character like using a gun, simple things make it big, well that's all thx
- Tlhonolofatso Letsoaka · v4.13
Google doesn't let me play this game. Even though I paid for it.
- EMOBOY2008 · v4.13
similar to slay of spire, without various hero classes. overall it's fun and promising, hoping there'll be constant updates to improve it edit: turns out there are various characters to play with different perks, wonderful!
- Okky Steviano · v4.13
excellent
- Gabriel Rymer · v4.13
by far my favorite cell phone game. i have played countless hours on the train or flights and never get tired of it. pro-tip: when it gets too hard quit before you die and restart the battle
- Joe Cool
Greed, Microtransaction, takes forever to earn coins to unlock other characters ingame. Boring.
- The Sherlock Of Holmes · v4.13
This game is amazing! Very challenging and definitely hard. But that what's what makes me in love with this game. And there is a lot of content to grind for. And every char wasnt just OP, rather, they have different set of starting deck that give different playstyle —making the iap not really p2w but rather easing you out from the grind.
- Raihan Irham · v2.71
Cynical carbon copy of Slay the Spire that leans heavily into enshittification and Pay to Win. The core of the game is to annoy you into buying your way out of frustration. Get the original instead, this game is horrible
- Kristoffer Yi Fredriksson
I have been playing this game for YEARS. One of the few games that has been able to stay fresh by the sheer depth of its system.
- Jer Woomer · v4.13
edit. its six years later and this game is still great. more mobile friendly than Slay the Spire but less crunchy. just a great game. hope the company can put out a sequel
- Cameron Bridger · v2.21
It's a really good pirate-themed deck building game for mobile and it won't drain your battery if you play it offline. However, the thing that need to be improved is the lore and its encyclopedia about the types of the enemies. Also, ading an endless mode (which carries over the upgraded and modified deck) after completing one sea at navigate mode to another sea, will be great for its replayability, so that people won't start over again when they arrived at new sea.
- Mas Aji Gustiawan · v4.13
I'll be honest - I never review games. this game is good enough that I not only voluntarily rate, but also leave a review. it's so deep and enjoyable for a free game, very much a Slay the Spire type experience. love the theming, love the content. well, well, done
- Daniel LaRue · v4.13
possibly the best roguelike i have ever played
- unknown · v4.13
Great addictive game. Fantastic art style. But paid app with even more in-app purchases sometimes equal in initial price?.. a bit questionable.
- Дмитро · v4.13
nice concept, very hard to progress even at first stages
- antony butch · v4.13
damn, for 1 dollar the content in this game is insane
- anto · v4.13
best phone game ive ever found
- Jon MacB
Kind of like Slay the Spire, but runs much better and is more fun
- Yann Larente · v4.13
It does get repetitive initially, but the grind is definitely rewarded. I only have two humble suggestions to the developers: 1- You need to expand your soundtrack; I had to mute the ingame music and open a background one just to prevent headache from playing the game for hours in a row. 2- You need to add way more, like waayy more quests to increase the game's flow and make the heroes feel more like individuals rather than a mere set of different skills.
- Yasin Şahin · v4.13
Worth every penny! Great for fans of Slay the Spire, Hearthstone, etc!
- David Marchesano · v4.13
would be a good game just makes literally zero sense that you have to use your ammo to get shield idk possibly name it something other than ammo
- Kaige Logsdon · v4.13
ABSOLUTE GAMING. Thank you for more than 4 happy years with this infinite game.
- Ariel Sebastián Hernández Miranda · v4.12
Hey. i completed tons of runs and if you are new to the card games, i must say this game is so hard. Also game progression is a little slow but not totally pay to win. They are continually uptading game, adding new cards, maps, heroes and I just love this! but i wish that new card pack costs 3000 gold instead of real money.
- Emre GÜCÜYENER
Art is amazing & lots of cards+characters. But...Wasted potential. The "deck building" part is kind of a lie: you always start with the same deck and you just add cards (from a random pool) as you go. Very $low progress, supported on microtransactions (in a game that's not free). Luck is the main factor, not strategy (eg.: missions have 3 stages -you have to waste 2 stages to realize that you weren't given the right cards). It seems the designer team just don't care about this game anymore.
- Constantino Mills · v4.13
very addictive. fun and a get pick up and play.
