Nothing really like the AD

The ads look really fun even the interactive ones really got me hooked after playing for like 10 seconds so I downloaded the game and you only get that about 10% of the time. The rest is world building. It makes no sense what you’re actually supposed to be doing and is overly complicated. The other issue is as a woman I don’t want to see all these scantily clad female characters. It was over the top ridiculous and I deleted the game.

Waste of money

Plan on spending thousands or tens of thousands of dollars to be moderately competitive. The devs are very unimaginative, seemingly pulling new feature ideas from other games. Now they added pet collection, which is another joke/cash grab feature.

Just play anything else

It’s incredibly hand holdy, it has gatcha game features such as rolling for heroes, the base building mechanics is just upgrading buildings to be higher level, if you want to actually have fun with any of those mechanics you’re really just better off playing clash of clans or something from way before slop like this was coming out on a regular basis just to be a big scheme to be a terrible experience unless you pay money.

Not what you think

The ads show you blasting bad guys and upgrading by blasting weapon barrels or adding troops. That’s not accurate. You have a little bit of that and a lot of growing a city and upgrading farms, lumberjacks etc. I lost interest when they started making you wait hours to play the fun stuff.

Spent a lot of time and money on game. They sucked me into the discord and that’s where it went south - bunch of “mods” on discord find out who you are, where you are, and then they use all the power they have to ruin the game for you. I don’t think the game dev’s even know it. Game is great though, just avoid the discord!

P&S is super engaging and somewhat addictive because there are so many components & minigames within this game. It’s all fun & games until you need their CS, and then they don’t respond. They have allowed a player to continuously harass my whole alliance with statements about harming us in illegal ways; we have been reporting this in-game for 6+ weeks and customer service shockingly has not banned this player. One of my teammates left an app review mentioning CS ignoring us and the developer took it down. Super shady behaviour. Anyway, I had to file 2 reports with the FBI about this harassing player so it’s pretty serious. Please don’t support this game by spending money on them. Just play for free.

Garbage

The developers DO NOT care about players. Once your settlement reaches lvl 30+ , you’ll need millions of resources and these garbage devs won’t increase the resource tiles. Imagine needing millions of gas and the most you can collect is 20k x 5. That’s hours just for 100k… if you’re lucky to even find five lvl 7 tiles. Again, this game is GARBAGE.

Game is trash

1. I need 3m wood and 3m food to upgrade my headquarters 2. I did the math and it would take me 3 days to get the resources on the map 3. I got spam raided multiple times and lost all my resources 4. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO NOT GET RAIDED FOR 3 DAYS WHEN IVE ONLY BEEN GETTING SPAM RAIDED?? This game is trash trash garbage 5. This is pay-to-play. If you don’t spend you will not get premium items. For a time you can hang out in top alliances and get “rewards” and build up, but you will NEVER be able to compete with paying players in events or against players in events or otherwise. The truth is- this is a business and they developed a game and it makes sense that they earn an income, but to say you can grow & be competitive is a lie without spending thousands of dollars you will NEVER be as strong as a paying player. I’ve been playing this game six years. It’s nothing like the market advertisement. You must join a Team or your Headquarters will be attacked. Every other weekend you must put up a shield up around your headquarters - cost 500 diamonds or you will be attacked by another State. It’s team chats where you interact with your team and you must participate to stay part of the team. It’s really fun if you are a very social person and you like military style games that are super competitive. To advance and build your Captain you will have to spend some real money.

The low down

I saw a review talking about how higher level players look down on smaller non cash spending players. There’s a couple holes in this statement. Most players get into an alliance where the bigger players get them more rewards and help them get through big builds. They are needed for participation in alliance challenges and if they are helpful with tasks are a big part of the team. My experience has been as I grow and learn the game my interaction with bigger players has led to my success getting to more powerful levels. Everyone deals with the pay aspect and the game has developed better participation challenges that really help new players get through new levels faster. This includes better hero frags that were not available to us in the past. It is a long form alliance game so it does take some time to make the biggest levels but if you enjoy this kind of game it’s pretty fun to play. Last I would say when you first start out keep looking for an alliance that chats and is inclusive. My first alliances didn’t know what they were doing and I reached to alliances that were better. Even the ones that attacked me. Good luck

Not bad but..

First of all, the screenshots of the game on the app store shows only a very small fraction of the game so already that’s a little deceiving. Secondly, it’s sad that there is a whole section of the game dedicated to working as a team, the Alliance, yet players refuse to participate. I am on the verge of having a level 15 headquarters & have been in 5 different alliances all with over 50+ people. Yet despite this I still have had only 1 single player join any of my rally calls. It’s just pointless. On the better side of things, it’s a very easy game to pick up and it has many aspects to it that can be considered enjoyable. While it can be considered a play to win, it is by no means necessary to make purchases to progress in the game.
