This game wasn't as challenging as the other Rusty Lake games, and the game was shorter. Or maybe it just felt that way because I figured out everything too fast compared to the other games. I still enjoyed paintball playing it though.

The game was an experience. some puzzles were more difficult than others, but the graphics are so eerie (a good thing). deaths are unique, too. only minus is that it ends on a cliffhanger. Update: Checked out the Cube Escape and Rusty Lake trilogy. Beautiful. Honestly, so critics.

To get the 3 star meals, you have to do a perfect run of the entire game. At several points in my playthrough, I was just doing the puzzles and there were no issues until I would make one mistake and then have to replay the entire game up to that point, all because I forgot to do something like pull a lever more than 6 times. That's not creativity, that's bad game design. Genuinely frustrating for someone who wants to find completion without a guide.

First Rusty Lake game I played (and finished). The puzzles are challenging, struggled with some but overall still engaging. Intriguing storyline with macabre atmosphere and fitting soundtrack. Love the art style too. Really appreciate that you can replay the levels to get any missing optional ingredients.

Its alright. The puzzles were a bit odd but if you keep playing the game you get sort of an idea of what its asking you to look for. I do find it annoying that you are not allowed to leave a room without finishing the puzzle, this makes going back and investigating hard, especially when they put a puzzle at the end that requires you to remember a detail in every room. it almost feels like the developers are trying to get more views on their YouTube videos. All in all an alright time killer

What's the point of this "game?" There are no directions whatsoever. Welcome to the hotel, tap the caracters and they say something, but what are you to do with that? Any puzzle access and or anything even slightly resembling a game is completely missing. Don't bother with this one.

Bought it at its discount and I feel like I scammed you! it's great I love it, sometimes it does freeze and go black but a simple app refresh fixes it with no lost progress. I honestly really like the mechanic that makes you restart the whole game if you mess up, because it gives all of your actions actual weight and consequences! 10/10 or in this case, 5/5 :)

It's a unique experience playing Rusty Lake puzzles - you get to know how they think, like crossword setters. Hotel is thoroughly macabre, full of the weird puzzles and psychedelic asides we enjoy.

This is THEE best game I've ever played. It was super challenging and I did not get all the stars, but I will replay it again until I get them all. I have recommended this game to my daughter and sister. I wish I could just buy it and send it to them. It has NO ADS!!! It's so well scripted. I love the puzzles. Measuring out the water in Mr. Deer's room was probably the most difficult task. I guess I just suck at measurements. Anyway, I'm moving on to the next part.

For the price its a stunning little mind game. Eerie and mysterious enough, the puzzles are kinda easy but captivating, great vibes and spookiness. The whole design is just lovely. Might be a bit confusing at first, as there is no tutorial, but did not take a lot to grasp. If i have to pick on something, i would like to see a skip cutscene option, especially when restarting a playthrough.

The fact that you have to do again the whole thing if you missed an item or it did not save it is frustrating. Game freezes sometimes. A big disappointment because I enjoyed a previous Rusty Lake game. Finished the game. It's shorter than Roots and the ending is confusing. Not very satisfied.

Dark themed point and click (more like point and tap lol) puzzle game. Game's short and the puzzles are a bit easy. Can be done w/o a guide. Only places I got stumped were bc I was impatient and didn't wait for an animation to finish or for 1 of the optionals you have to perform an action multiple times (no hints - only found via brute force). The game makes it obvious whose room to visit first for 3 star based on the 1st opt ingr. You can repeat missions at their door if you miss anything.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. Storyline is super unique. Graphics are great, weird and unique. The puzzles make sense. Although I have had to look up a couple hints, it's not far fetched. Some of the puzzles in other escape games are outlandish, that's not the case here. The game play itself is smooth, zero glitches. All around solid game. My only negative- I wish it were longer. Not because it felt short. I just really enjoyed it and didn't want it to end. Def checking out the developers other titles. 10/10!

One of the best games I have ever played even on PC. The graphics are pure art, just breathtaking. The logic behind puzzles ... Idk.. to be honest you need to be quite creative in a little bit disturbing way to hack the process. Music and voice acting... Just sends shivers down my spine. I got immersed immediately.
